Plot: Bond is sent to Jamaica to investigate the dissapperance of Mr. Strangways and his secretary. Unlike Bond's expectations, as this is a cushy assignment, it becomes something much larger, involving rocket toppling.

Villian:Dr. Julias No A Chinese immigrant, raised in Chinese gangs. His brillance is second only to his resourcefulness. An outcast living of Crab Key, he coordinates all his operations from there, even his major scheme.

Henchmen:Various Chigroes Chinese negros. The ones in the book were strong, and resourceful. They didn't fear Bond at all, they were so confident.

Helpers:Felix Leiter Bond's famous CIA contact. Felix doesn't do too much in this outing, but he is in it.

Helpers:Quarrel A native of the Caribbean, Quarrel helps Bond throughout this novel, as a chauffer and as a second pair of eyes when the two invaded Dr. No's island hell.
