Freedom and Justice Is the American Way
We all have thoughts on what freedom and justice are and what it takes to obtain them. A few of my personal thoughts on these two values I hold really close to my heart follow.
- I get boosebumps when I hear the National Anthem. Do you?
- I love to be able to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Do you?
- I stand in awe of the sacrifices of our armed forces and what they and their families endure. Do you?
- I feel it is a disgrace that our nation lets our protectors and heros remain on foriegn soil while the law sets perpetrators of child abuse and domestic violence free with a simple slap on the wrist. Do you?
- I feel it is time for our country to do something about that. Do you?

What is Unconditional Love?
I hear a lot of talk about unconditional love. Many times I ask myself just exactly what is that. Well, I personally think the above graphic explains it all.

This award, graciously bestowed by Doc, was a total surprise to me. I was still in the process of adopting a missing American hero. His words were that I am a hero and therefore deserve this award for me and my accomplishments and survival. (These are not his exact words but they capture what he said.)
