Desert Traveler
I cross the desert in search
not knowing where the journey
might take this lonely traveler
I seek a home of my own
a heart to beat with mine
a love of words leading me
lost in the swirls of sand
a heat that breaks the spirit
and yet I search ever on
guided by a crescent moon
stars shimmering in the heavens
I journey with weary feet, heavy heart
from oasis to oasis I travel
taking nourishment as I can
guided by a hope and a dream
distant fires glow with welcome
greeting this weary Traveler
a warm place to rest
until journey's end...

Desert Flower
a desert flower blooms
fed by the clear waters
of a palm ringed oasis
and the love of
her Master
His bidding is her wish
His orders her desire
her pleasure to serve
His will, her answer
Each to T/their place
an order to all things
Steel to Men
Songs and Stories to Us
and Those who are Free
as My Sisters and Me
journey through sand
finding joy in the sharing
of tales and soft songs
and friendships
yet to be found

raisa's gift
On this name day
the sun smiles
on pretty raisa
with all her wiles
property of Shadow Trakar
His pretty pearl
obedient slave
soft, sensual girl
a Red silk
of special beauty
and graceful ways
who knows her duty
so all please sing
in happy celebration
to raisa's name day
today's her dedication

The Song of Suleiman Pasha
I sing a song of grief
I sing a song of sorrow
A Brother lost forever
We'll see Him not tomorrow
A crescent moon shines softly
upon the desert sands
Our Brother travels ever
in dark and dreadful lands
Suleiman Pasha the valiant
with heart so pure and strong
lost His life in service
To right a villain's wrong
Fur, Silk & Steel was burning
the girl left in a cage
Pasha came to save T/them
but was lost in Darkheart's rage
Vengeance cried Black Saan
Vengeance cried W/we all
Darkheart has now paid in full
for Suleiman Pasha's fall
jewel, the gentle one
with heart steadfast and true
joins in His last journey
His companion now and forever too
So I sing My song to the Winds
and sing it to the stars above
I sing it to Pasha's Spirit
A last goodbye of love...

The Free Man and the Plumb Kajira
A Free Man went
to a tavern dark
and there
he did imbibe
of paga strong and sweet
from a bota
with no bottom
from a friendly tribe
a plump kajira
He did summon
with curves
pronounced and quivered
He bounced her
upon His knee
and her flesh like
thick jelly shivered..
He bounced her hard
He bounced her swift
her flesh it did
a dance
and whipped 'round His head
He jumped and yelled
His shock most pronounced
as though prodded
with a lance
He leaped to His feet
and dumped the girl
she fell with such
a sound
It filled the
tavern with its roar
and the country
all around!
The Freeman, He did run..
fast as kaiila
'cross the desert
and never once
did He look 'round
the plump kajira
on the other hand
with plops and squeals
to this day still
bounces on the ground...
