In a valiant albeit amusing effort to contact all in the original CAFE group, Nan has trotted out her poetic skills and posted the following plea:

          HI! ANN!,

          Don`t know the RAISIN you stopped in,to this lonely cafe,BUT you sure brightened the place up!! :)
          I can tell you still CARROT about it!!
          LETTUCE not BEET around the bush! If we are to pay the cooks CELERY,so he won`t LEAF we must hurry!
          I heard talk he and the waitress are thinking of getting married,and hope they CANTALOPE on what they get paid,here!
          They`re quite a PEAR,and would be hard to replace,such as all our friends would be! Each one of you is a PEACH!!!!!!
          Joan should be a clone,so we`re never without her and alone!
          Hella is swella and oh so mella!
          Ruby is a jewel and nobodys fool!!!! A gem of a gal and a real sweet pal...
          Dinah is finah and oh so needed! in the diner...ah!
          Kaysee is something right out of Macy`s A real classy scholar worth every dollar!
          Allie is swellie...good stories she tellie!!!! A real "Lovebug"who gets a hug! :))
          Ann is grand and Steve's her man! :) but she still finds time to give us a hand. Thank yee mam!!!!
          Linda oh linda come back you hear?! You were such a funny funny dear!!
          Restless Spirit rest no more and please walk through our cafe door!
          Sweet sweet Cookie do not us tease come back! come back! I`m saying PLEASE!
          DCN-K9 do not leave us in a bind! You and your dogs were such a good find!
          And whatever happened to our "Be Sweet"? Would love to see her on our street! If you`re not too busy with a BEE,do BUZZ in for a cuppa TEA! ;)
          And smarty Marti if you`re reading Get in that car and get to speeding!
          Destination?...the CAFE,and hurry! hurry! RIGHT AWAY!!!!
