The San Francisco Coalition on Prostitution is a network of prostitutes, dancers and performers in the sex industry. Political advocates, health workers, service providers and legal advocates organize to support the rights and needs of sex trade workers. The Coalition is a sponsored project of the Women's Building, funded in part, by the Women's Foundation in SF. Since the Coalition was organized in 1992, it has mobilized in response to the immediate health and safety needs of prostitutes that have been brought to our attention through the work of participants. |
