"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved." Romans 10:13
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 Salvation is by God's grace, not by our individual good works. Salvation is a gift from God and must be received by faith. People must believe in their heart that Jesus died for their sins and physically rose again on the third day, which is the assurance of forgiveness and resurrection of the body. This is God's loving plan to forgive sinful people. God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit are one in the same. This is the Trinity of God. After death, believers go to be with Jesus. Our sins will be judged at the final judgment. Those who are lost will suffer the torment of eternal separation from God {hell}. Believers will be resurrected to heaven and receive new immortal bodies for all eternity with Jesus. Please accept this most precious gift God has to offer you today. TO BE SURE ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST...
Know what God says about sin...
Admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner who will perish and go to hell if you do not believe that Christ took away your sin and died in your place.
Confess your sins, and as much as possible, name them specifically.
Believe Christ went to the Cross for you as though you were the only one who needed a Savior!! He died in your place so that His death could pay for your sins and cleanse you. Your sins will be paid for by you or by Jesus -- the choice is yours to make. If you accept Jesus death in your place, God says you are justified in His sight (pardoned and cleared from guilt).
Experience this cleansing by inviting Christ into your life. This is what it is meant by being "born again" of the Holy Spirit. It also means "to be made alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions", to have assurance of salvation. This is eternal life!!
Now then... Would you like to receive Jesus Christ, to invite Him into your life, to begin eternal life? If so, would you pray right now? Perhaps you would like to kneel to pray (Philippians 2:10). This position helps to give a sense of reverent nearness to God. You can pray aloud to Him with words from your heart, or you might want to read this prayer:
Continue your prayer by telling God what you are feeling and what you are wanting from Him. Be assured that having received Christ into your life, you are sealed and stamped with God's name on you. Ask yourself, "Has He come in? Do I have eternal life? Is Christ here in my life?" The answer to these questions is a resounding "YES" if you sincerely meant your invitation to Him. He comes into the heart of anyone who invites Him. You may or may not "feel" differently, but you don't need to. Your trust is not based on your feelings but on the authority of the Word of God and His promises to you.
CONTINUING STEPS OF FAITH After you have received Jesus Christ and given your life to Him, there are some continuing steps that will help you to know God and trust Him with your whole life...
Confessing Christ This means to state openly before others that you belong to him, that you have invited Him into your life to be your Lord. MATTHEW 10:32-33 ROMANS 10:9-10
Witnessing to others You will probably be very eager to tell others about the wonderful changes that have taken place in your life. This is called "witnessing". EPHESIANS 4:23-24 ACTS 1:8
Dedicating yourself to pleasing God and doing His will This will involve your whole self, obeying God moment by moment and trusting Him with every detail of your life. ROMANS 12:1-2 JAMES 1:25
