I'm a fan of Winston Cup racing!!!

I've made changes!!!!!

This page is for race fans. That's what I call myself, a fan of the sport. As you can tell, I do have a favorite, Jeff Gordon. I like to watch him race, as I liked to watch other greats who left before their time. Davey Allison was my favorite when he was killed. That year was very difficult for NASCAR fans, many greats were lost on and off the track. When I actually sat down to watch the twin 125's the following year this "rookie" won one of them and was actually running real good in the Daytona 500. I watched him race and liked what I saw. A determined driver who wins at all cost. Like it or not he can drive. I used to have a graphic of Calvin peeing on a #3. I have decided that I don't want to do that any more. I decided to put some photos on a few pages and to document my Winston Cup races that I have attended recently. I also have taken loads of photos of my young boys with some very famous Winston Cup cars.

Here's my oldest son E.J. with his favorite car from Jeff Gordon. The photo next to it is one from the Winston in 1997 which he won. He now has a #3 hat that is autographed that he loves to wear. I think that there has been some teasing at school about him being a Jeff fan. When I got his #24 hat autographed by Jeff, he decided that he still "liked him"

This is a joke a friend of mine(devo), made. I like to go to racing homepages and leave it on guestbooks saying that Childress got a new driver. This is all in good fun!!





Here's some other photos I've found of my favorites!!

Dale Jarrett- another great driver. 1998 has not been a great year for him. He has had lot's of "bad luck" with uncharacteristic blown engines. However, as we all know now 1999 saw him winning his first Winston Cup championship. Congratulations Dale!!!!

Another one that #24 is looking at from behind a lot (or he's right in his rear view mirror!!) Mark Martin has always challenged Jeff Gordon for the Winston Cup. He has been a consistent racer since I've begun following the sport.
