The results of my early success were clearly the result of my friends and family. They did something that a lot of hunters do not do. THEY SHARED. They shared their knowledge of deer and their habits. They also shared their time, this time was not just walking me to a spot and putting me in a stand. I did tracking just to get a glimpse of a deer with help. This appears to be an important part of the process. ANYONE can go and sit down on opening day and get lucky, but the hunter who is CONSISTENTLY successful obviously does not do that! My gratitude can only be showed by teaching others (mainly young hunters) the "Joy of Hunting". I am eagerly anticipating my 2 young men WANTING to hunt with me. I would also like to show my appreciation to my brother in law, John, and my buddy's Bill, and Mike, without them I would be lost out there. John has a young son and Mike has 4 (one who already is an excellent young hunter), I enjoy my time out there in the woods with them. MY PHILOSOPHY IS, IF YOU DON'T THINK THAT YOU HAVE ANY MORE TO LEARN IN THE WOODS, PLEASE TAKE ME OUT WITH YOU, I AM ALWAYS WIILING TO LEARN MORE!!!
