Because the crag is located on top of a long, narrow ridge, routes can be found facing in all directions, with good sun and shade options. Because of granite's non-porous nature, the rock can dry off very quickly with a bit of sun and/or wind. Be careful of lichenous or mossy areas, though, since these tend to hold moisture for longer than the cleaner rock.
There are currently three guides in print for the area, the "Rockclimbs in the Upper Blue Mountains (2nd Edition)" guide book, Rock Publications' Tarana guidebook and Harry Luxford's more recent "Hot Rocks" guidebook.
The following two climbs can be done in the rain without too much drama (they are also easy to set up top ropes on).
