Leaving for...

It's a great departure. You have to say goodbye. To what? To everything and to nothing. To nothing because the world we leave behind us will always be there, near us, within us, until our last breath. Being chased and pushed away, it may very well arise within us even more vehemently. To everything, because when you leave to seek for God, you break off communication with all that could divert you, with all that within us or others tends to rebel against divine action. Eventually, the hardest to leave is that self who, in its need for autonomy, rebels against God.
