On July 18th, 1997 I was
shocked to find myself lucky enough to have been chosen the GeoCities
Cool Link of the Day. Sure it's something that I submitted my
page for consideration for, but I didn't think that they would
just accept it! *blush*
The part that I noticed most about the whole experience though was you, and all the others like you who visited. I received so many e-mails and guest book signatures from so many kind people that I wanted to take a chance and thank you for your words. It's always special to hear from anyone who appreciates the work you put into a web page, but when you are visited by 1000+ people in a single day it is truly overwhelming!
For those who asked questions, I've tried to answer via e-mail where I could. A couple of those e-mails didn't get through. I'm sorry. For those who asked me to visit their page, I've almost got to them all and I've been quite impressed! For those asking how to get to be the Link'o'the Day...just keep typing away but don't be afraid to submit your page! You might find yourself pleasantly surprised by the response you get from your Community Leaders and Geocities!
Good luck to all of you! In the mean time I'm going to keep working away to keep race dates and links current. I'll also be adding any features I think I can, so if you have something you want to see then feel free to ask. Stop by soon to add to my list of great trails in Ontario and elsewhere!
