Road Signs

Cut up the following pictures and have the Cubs match the signs to the text.  A great document on bicycling for Cubs can be found at the Ontario Government Website: This material can be used to fulfill partial requirements for the Cyclist Badge

	Stop sign.  Come to a complete stop		Yield sign: stop if necessary and go only when the way is clear
	Official bicycle route		No pedestrians allowed on this road
	Do not enter this road		Keep to the right of the traffic island
	Do not turn left		Traffic is allowed to travel in one direction only
	Do not drive through the intersection		Bicycle lane
	No bicycles allowed on this road		Traffic signals ahead
	Slight bend or curve in the road ahead		Bump or uneven pavement on the road ahead. Slow down
	Stop sign ahead		Pavement is slippery when wet
	Watch for fallen rock		Steep hill ahead
	Paved surface ends ahead		Deer regularly cross this road. Be alert
	Bicycle crossing ahead		Truck entrance on the right side of the road ahead
	Quebec highway sign		Trans Canada highway sign
	Railroad crossing: Look, Listen, Live!		Railway crossing ahead. Be alert for trains
