Places in Colorado to hike, climb, and soak... Colorado State Flag

This is it!  This is the page our site is really all about.  Click on the links below to read about some of the beautiful places that we and other hikers have been to and hiked through.

Since the two of us can't cover as much ground in Colorado as we would like, we want to hear about your Colorado hiking experiences.  If you would send us a description, location, and driving directions to your favorite hiking trails as well as a few photos of the area, we'll post them on our page to share with other hikers.  Especially important to us is your personal experiences and feelings about the trails. Tell us your hiking stories! Email the information to us at Tesconair@oocities.com.  We'd really appreciate your help in building the "Places" page! We want this site to not be just about our hiking experiences, but a site by and for other Colorado hikers, with the widest variety of hikes and opinions possible.

To the Summit! (Peaks 10,000 feet and higher)

  • Mount Rosa - Pike's Peak's Little Sister.
Located south of Pike's Peak, Mount Rosa offers spectacular views, an easy hike, and in mid to late summer, a special surprise at the top. Recommended for children ages 5 and up, as young as four if they are in good shape.
