April 9, 2004. We rode from The Dalles to Rowena Crest and Memaloose Overlook. It was 15 miles each way. We climbed 1,700 feet. It was nice sunny weather with a moderat East wind (headwind). Lots of wildflowers and birds.
We stop to gaze out over the wide river and look at the cliffs and hill in Washington on the other side
