Photograph Of The Week -- a feature on the home page

Quarry, visible from overlook, a few yards west of Goose Creek. The two most spectacular views on the trail are within a few yards of each other, one mile east of Leesburg.

View from Goose Creek Trestle, highest on the trail. Goose Creek is a State Scenic River. This is one of the best views from the trail, and it is only yard from the overlook of the stone quarry. The ever-present power lines detract a little from the views, but they reinforce the linearity of the trail.

Goose Creek Trestle

Stone culvert just west of Paeonian Springs.

Sycolin Trestle, 1 mile east of Leesburg, just yards from quarry and Goose Creek Trestle.

Oakland Bed and Breakfast in Lincoln, near western end of trail.
