Rocket day! Our last one so we figure to make our biggest and best yet. Last week we did two engines, we start off by trying three. But then after a bit of experimentation we discover that seven engines will fit in one tube and most likely will all ignite at the same time. So we try it. The fins are huge and there are six of them. After it's built the kids seem almost as excited about it as we are. The launch goes without a hitch and then we launch Laura's three engine Dragonfly. For some reason only two engines go off so we re-fire it to burn the last engine. Then it's Lucky 7 (my rocket). All the leaders push the button and it screams off the launch pad, flips around in the air and lands (kind of disappointing really). We hold our breath (I do actually) to see how many engines go off and all seven pop. SUCCESS!! The kids race for the rocket and I end up giving the parts away to all the kids.

After we're done for the day we go home, shower then Phil, Nina and I go to Olean's for supper. After we eat she takes us on a hike to this spot that over-looks Kenora. The city is pretty pretty when lit up like that. Then we walk along the harbor front and go back to Olean's house. Shortly after we go back home.

I sit down and finish off the whole butterfly project!! Now I can finally pack my stuff. But it's almost 12 so I go to bed instead.
