We all woke up at 9:00 this morning. Rob had to call the girls' room to wake them up. Phil and Nina came in around 3 am. They apparently met the owner of a bar in Wawa that kept buying them drinks all night.

We went to the grocery store by the hotel and bought food for a few days. We ate our newly bought breakfast in the hotel room, took one last picture then went on to Thunder Bay. Stopped at the goose for Laura and Phil who apparently missed it on the way into town.

Stopped for lunch just outside of Marathon. Beauty spot and found a really cool rock sample of a type of feldspar called spectralite. Also found another rock type called laurvakite. So we decided to stop and collect a few samples for our Swap Shop. It's pretty rare, only two places in the world where it's found (Spectralite not Swap) Marathon and in Finland. Worth MEGA points.

After filing Rob's hat with stuff we're back on the road. We saw a bear and a rabbit but other than that just mountains, trees, fog and rain. We finally made it to Thunder Bay and get to the residence where we're living for 2 weeks. The place is beauty. We go out for supper (after about 3 restaurants) at a Chinese place. No buffet but the food was good.

Back home we go unload the van of the stuff we need to work on tonight and get that finished up around 1:00 or so.

We're planning on being at the school by 7:30 or so to get set up. Monday will be quite hectic but we'll survive and make it through the rest of the week.
