The day everyone was looking forward too all week threatened rain. Clouds moved in but kept the rain away. So the rocket launch went without a hitch (weather wise anyway).

Laura's group had very little difficulty with the rockets which was surprising since they're the youngest group. Nina's group seemed to take forever but that's pre-teens for ya I guess. I could only help Phil's group out a bit since he had most of it under control and I was building a rocket with one of his kids anyway.

The other programs seemed to go really well today as well. Guess no changes to the middle of the week are necessary. Except maybe the fitness one.

I thought the rocket launch was going to be over way too soon but it turned out that they had so many rockets it was just perfect. We had a few rockets not go very far, some go really great and one that didn't go at all. Four of them landed on the roof of the school and I had to go get them. But the kids seemed to love it.

We also had an unexpected visit from the fire department today. They're planning on doing a tour of the school tomorrow so they came to clear it with the janitor. They let the kids play on (and in) the truck before they left. The kids thought it was pretty cool.

After we got off work and ate supper, Laura and Rob went off to do some photocopying and almost had a new pet. An American Cocker Spaniel (just like Dakota) was in the middle of the street so we stopped to pick it up and find the owner. Eventually a lady came and picked it up. It was her niece and nephew's dog.

We then continue on to Business Depot and proceed to spend money like it wasn't ours. Oh wait. It's not. Anyway we bought some supplies for our last day of camp, and I bought some books to read. Then we went to Chapters. God I can't wait until it opens in Sudbury. It'll be soooooo cool. I'm going back tomorrow and getting some more books. I also want my pictures developed, buy some crap and fill out my diet other than what the rest of them have bought for us to eat. Not that I'm complaining but we all just seem to have small differences in tastes in things.

Anyway we get paid tomorrow so all will be well. I'm swimming tomorrow or at least Sunday. I brought my suit and damn it I intend on using it!
