Going north from Lake Louise, you pass by Peyto Lake overlook. What you see here is the snowmelt that feeds into Peyto Lake. The distinctive green color is due to the minerals in the water. Sorry folks, I didn't get a decent shot of the lake so this is all I can show!
Here are a bunch of tourists at the massive Columbia Icefield.
Morraine Lake is somewhat less known than Lake Louise but in the eyes of some (mine included) just a bit prettier!
