Fl-1999 ippubblika It-Trumbettier, ktieb ta' poeziji bil-Malti, bi tpinġijiet u traduzzjonijiet għall-Ingliż. Dal-ktieb rebaħ it-tieni premju fil-Premio Tivoli Europa Giovani għal kotba ta’ poeżija ppubblikati fl-Ewropa fl-1999. Uħud mill-poeżiji tiegħu dehru f’pubblikazzjonijiet fl-Italja, Franza, Ċipru, l-Iżrael, l-Olanda, l-Awstrija, il-Ġermanja, u Korsika, u qara x-xogħlijiet tiegħu f’Malta, Belfast, Ċipru, Delfi, Katanja, Ruma u l-Olanda.
Dr. Grima huwa l-editur ta' F’Kull Belt Hemm Kantuniera (Inizjamed, 2003) u ġabriet oħra ta' letteratura kontemporanja bil-Malti. Ħareġ ukoll il-ktejjeb “Dgħajjes Qodma u Maħmuġin” - Dun Karm, id-Dielja u l-Barranin (Kumitat Festi Nazzjonali, 2004) u Gżejjer ta' Diversità Kulturali/Islands of Cultural Identity ma' Kevin MacNeil (2001).
Dr. Adrian Grima huwa l-koordinatur ta' l-inizjattiva kulturali Mediterranja Inizjamed, organizzazzjoni li waqqaf flimkien ma' oħrajn fl-1998, membru tal-Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust, u l-korrispondent Malti tal-website dwar il-kultura fil-Mediterran, Babelmed.

He has read papers on Maltese literature and the Mediterranean in Malta, Reggio Calabria, Palermo, Rome, Paris, Delphi, Cyprus, London, and Puerto Rico and at the universities of Yale and Colorado at Boulder in the USA. He has published articles on literature and culture in the local press and academic papers in Malta and France. In 1999, he published It-Trumbettier, a book of poetry in Maltese, with English translations, which won second prize in the Premio Tivoli Europa Giovani for books of poetry published in Europe in 1999. Some of his poems have appeared in anthologies in Italy, Germany, Cyprus, The Netherlands, Israel, Austria, France, and Corsica, and he has read his works in Malta, Belfast, Delphi, Cyprus, Rome, Catania, and The Netherlands. He has produced and presented radio programmes in Maltese and English on FM Bronja (Sintesi), Voice of the Mediterranean (Mediterranean Coincidences) and Campus FM (Lingwa Sfida, Ix-Xark Malti, Bellavista mill-Ħabs). Adrian Grima is the coordinator of the Mediterranean cultural organization Inizjamed, which he co-founded in 1998, a member of Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust, and the Maltese correspondent of the Babelmed website about culture in the Mediterranean region.
Dr. Grima is the editor of F’Kull Belt Hemm Kantuniera (Inizjamed, 2003) and other collections of contemporary Maltese literature and has published a short study on the Maltese national poet and cultural diversity, “Dgħajjes Qodma u Maħmuġin” - Dun Karm, id-Dielja u l-Barranin (Kumitat Festi Nazzjonali, 2004) and Gżejjer ta' Diversità Kulturali/Islands of Cultural Identity with Kevin MacNeil (2001).
