DRAGON'S INC: CAMPAIGN

Prologue | Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6

NARRATION:
Through the miracles and wonders of this lawless area, the doors magically re-open, and you find yourselves back outside the cave opening, looking about in wonder at how this happened...(hehehe)

NARRATION
As the group exits from the cave, you realize that your time there has been longer than expected, as dusk is already long gone, blackness blanketing the region. The twinkling of stars above you is overwhelming, almost as if you could just reach out and p uck one from the sky. You hear a rustling sound, moving quickly toward you from above, and involuntarily duck as the thing seems to narrowly miss your heads. A loud splat is heard on the rock directly above your heads, a small groaning croak that you re ognize as Twit's voice, then the sound of something sliding down the wall. Assuming that you have kind hearts and rush to him, you have just enough light to see him as he lands with a plop on the path. Raising one wing, a tiny fist against his forehead, he laments, "Oh geez that hurt, geez that hurt, gods you wouldn't KNOW how that hurt...c'mon, I can see I can walk, you've got to come what are you just standing there for, c'mon, I found something..." e begins to try to fly, and fails miserably, plopping back down at your feet. "Okay, that's it I'm tired, can someone carry me please, come on, please, I don't weigh that much I really don't please?!?" Assuming someone picks him up, if nothing else than to just quiet the little dragon, he leads you back down the trail on the mountain. About halfway back to the rock you came through, he points to your left, almost leaping out of the protective hands hol ing him. Peering closely, you realize that there is actually a very narrow trail leading down that you hadn't noticed before, almost overgrown by brush. Following Twit's lead, you head down the path, it's winding trail making it hard to keep track of yo r direction. Although it is overgrown, you can tell that for some odd reason it is not as hard to get through as it looked to be, though no obvious trimming has been done. After walking a short distance single-file (there is no more room than that), you come into a grove, neatly arranged by a circular ring of trees, tall enough that you can't even see the mountain from here. In the very center of the grove appears to be a large pond surrounded completely by neatly arranged white-looking rocks. Upon clo er inspection, the rocks have a remarkable quality to them, appearing translucent from one angle, white solid the next. They are perfectly round, and three deep around the pond, framing it.

"SEE! Isn't it neat, isn't really, really neat?!? Look, it makes the blue sparklies in it!" You look up, and realize that the pond is not empty. Rising from it's center, apparently of the same strange white rock, is a rectangular pedestal, about one fo t high above the water. Perfectly balanced on the pedestal, still of that white rock, is a circle, hollow through it's center. You can see the trees through it, and it is high enough for you to walk straight through the center of it if you so chose. Th t's when you notice that there ARE white stepping stones that seem to float above the water, leading to the pedestal. Looking where Twit is pointing, you see that there really are tiny flickers of blue light twinkling here and there in the water, almost ike underwater fireflies. With a start, it dawns on you that the blue light is not actually IN the water. It is being reflected there....from the opening in the upright circle before you.

Zydrek
After leaving the inner mountain and standing by the doorway when Twit almost falls in our laps, I can't help but let out a small chortle as he comes sliding down the side of the hill next to us. I look at him try to get up and fly and see that he needs s me help, so when he asks for one of us to pick him up and carry him, I do so, still chuckling a little. I tell him that he needs to get some Bat sense. When he almost knocks me down jumping to the ground, I notice the trail off to the left of the mountain trail that we are on. When we have to go single file down the path, I keep a close eye out for anything on either side of us and my hands on Thrane and Maltik, ready for whatever may happen. As we reach the grove and I see the circular ring of trees and t e pond in the center, surrounded by the white rocks, I see why Twit wanted to bring us here so bad. He loves the little twinkles in the water that he calls sparklies. I look around for a minute and tell everyone to be on their guard and keep an eye open f r trouble when we least expect it. I see the pedestal in the center of the pond, surrounded by white rocks, which looks very much to me, like a portal of some kind... Well, Ryloth, what do you think? Seems pretty inviting, eh? Although we did not get to f ee Aegis, what do you think we should do? Go back and try to find him first or go up the steps and find out if it is a portal and where it will take us? If in fact, it is a portal of some kind. After saying my piece, I look around us and make sure everyon is with us, as single file down the pathway did not set well with me, as it never does when we are vulnerable that way. I walk over to the edge of the treeline and begin to walk around the circle looking into the trees and checking out anything that does not look like it should belong in this type of setting... (OOC) I am going to San Antonio for the weekend and will not be back until Monday evening. Y'all have a good weekend. Talk to ya later.

ScarletFox
As we exit the cave I scan the surroundings to see if our guest is out here. Then Twit hits the rock, I look to see if he's ok. After we follow Twit's directions and reach the grove. Zydrek could this portal lead us to Agesis, after asking that I try the C of the Wolf symbol near the portal to see if anything happens?

Sanmourn
As we finally leave the building, Sanmourn thinks that maybe now the hunt for Aegis will begin in earnest. As Twit suddenly appears, Sanmourn smiles as the little one leads us to the grove and the pool. Peering intently at the stones and the pool, Sanmo rn walks around the pool and searches for anything....well, anything less ordinary than a pool of water in the middle of the forest! "Perhaps we need to just think of Aegis and the portal will take us to him. Does that sound too simple?" Wondering aloud, Sanmourn glances at Ryloth before turning back to the stones. "I nearly killed us all once before by acting rash...I will not be the first to step upon those stones."

Tegra
Tegra chuckles to herself at Twit, then at Sanmourn's comments. "Kind of interesting isn't it? The question is, is it a trap, or a gateway? I do know that every time we've seen those blue lights, it's meant good, but at this point, our enemies could be etting wise on that too. Well Ryloth? Or we could always go back up and check out that circular spot on the floor in the room that had all the tapestries...you know, the one radiating magic like crazy that we ignored?"

Emma
Oh the poor little guy hope he's not harmed to bad from the tumble down. When we arive at the pool of water I dont sence any evil just peace, as if it were a chapel. You can hear the wind but that is all. As long as we are already here I vote to walk th stones to the hole in the stone. And I will volunteer to be the first. If we are all into argeement about going through the rock.

Brand
Loosening the sabre in its sheath (I have asked the blade for its name and haven't heard back...) Brand inspects the water's edge and the stones (visually on the stones.) "Can anyone detect any evil magic, or are there any bad vibes around here? The blue tends to set my fears at ease, but then like Tegra said this could be a trick. If we aren't leaving something important back at the cave, we should take all precautions possible and try the 'portal.' I feel that time is becoming of the essence." He glances around the group, "We could always split up, too. Half go back to the cave and the other half try the portal. Most of the time that's a bad idea, but sometimes you get twice as much done. If no one detects any major dangers, I'll try the portal..."

NARRATION
When it happens you know it, and it comes in a flash. The first thing that you feel is the hair on the back of your necks stand on end. Twit gives an evil hiss and flies from Zydrek's arms. You hear a gurgled yell and you see a fully chain-mailed indiv dual appear suddenly and reach for his neck and fall to the ground, never to move again as Twit is hovering over him. Emma is the next one to respond, as she screams out one word, "EVIL!" Ten of them then appear around you. Human in stature, all fully hain-mailed with red eyes, carrying battle axes for weapons. Zydrek screams, "Ryloth, behind you!". As Ryloth spins, the eyes of the individual behind him flash bright red for a moment, and then fade as it slumps to the ground. Ryloth can see that bloo is coming from two small holes at the base of it's neck, but there is no one there. In all the confusion beginning to take place, Brand, you hear one word. "Bytor". This is not spoken out loud, you hear it in your mind. It continues:"I am the white dra on killer."

As the battle breaks out, Tegra notices that the stones leading to the portal individually light up, and then disappear, almost as if someone is walking across them. A very hollowed and familiar voice is heard. "Aegis will be mine." For ju t a minute second, she see's the outline of an individual at the portal. There is no doubt in her mind who it is. Zarbor then disappears through the portal. She sees once again that the stones light up, but much faster this time, as if someone is running. The silhouette appears yet again, and it's obviously human. It then also disappears into the portal.

There are eight individuals left. Each of you has one chain-mailed humanoid on you, Emma, you have two. AC is -1. Sanmourn, they are too close for you to get a shot off, unless you want to take a hit and then get a shot off. Roll your own, send it in your actions.

Brand
Brand draws Bytor the rest of the way from its scabbard, and lays into the humanoid closest to him. (Note: I don't know what benefits as far as hitting and damage are attributed to Bytor, so the DM must add them in, if they exist.) If/when I can get aw y from this fellow, I'll attempt to help Emma. (Rolls to follow)

ScarletFox
As everything happens I try to get a look at the second figure that went through the portal, since I was standing right there. I then attack the figure closest to me (ATT 18+7=25 ac-12; 11+7=18 ac-6; 12+7=19 ac-7 DAM 4+11=15; 1+11=12; 6+11=17) My AC is 1

Ryloth
As the threat of Zarbor rears its head again, Ryloth's solitary eye blazes with a hellish light of it's own. His twin scimitars (more comfortable to him than Vengeance ever was) fly to his eager hands as he launches himself like a predatory animal at the warrior assigned to him. A ruthless cry tears from his lungs as his wicked blades begin a dance of steel death. ((I rolled and sent them to that aegis address))

Sanmourn
"I can't stand it when scum run away and won't stand to fight!" Sanmourn yells towards the portal as he sights down his drawn bow. Releasing an arrow towards the invisible (?) figures moving through the portal, Sanmourn takes the hit from the drow near im before rolling to the side and drawing his sword. Flipping the Bow of Antries over his shoulder, the young ranger mumbles, "Looks like as good a time as any to practice my sword skills....."

Zydrek
I guess this means no lunch, eh guys? Oh well, Thrane lashes out against the humanoid next to me and hits with 16+2+3=21 and does (4+5)+(6+4)+5=24 points of damage to him. I watch and see if it affects him and if he needs some more hurt put on him. I watc the portal closely and see if the stones leading up to it light up again. I sure wish we knew where that thing led to. If Zarbor came through it, I am not sure I wish to follow him. He could have his whole regiment of Death Knights waiting for us on the ther side of it. What do you think Ryloth? We have tangled with him more times than I wish to remember, and never have we come away a total success. We have been most cripled every time. We need some sort of plan before we arbitrarily take off after him. nd we don't even know who the second one who went through the portal was. A meeting of the minds is in order I do believe...

Emma
Trying to buy us some time I put a sleep (enchantment/Charm) on the humun strangers. (occ. what level am I this is a 3rd level spell)

DM
OCC) Hi guys. Dava had surgery yesterday. It was minor but she had a hard time waking up in recovery. I will be home today and tonight but I have to go to NYC. I will be back on Monday. Let's try to get throught this. Walker post if you can.

(IC) Emma: You release your spell but nothing happens.(you are 6th level. MAKE SURE YOU TELL ME WHEN YOU ARE USING THE SPELLS FROM THE BOOK OR WHEN YOU ARE USING YOUR OWN. IF YOU DONT I WILL TAKE THAT YOU ARE USING YOUR OWN). you got off the hook from you two riends they were excpeting you to know magic SANMOURN: I need to know which figure it is that you shoot at. When you do fire your bow it keeps the black knight from attacking you.(kinda freaked him out:) Ryloth: you do damage to the black knight. You take no points of damage. Zydrek: Yes, you hurt but he keeps coming. You take 11 points of damage. Fox: (I need to know what you are fighting with before I can post what you did) However you did take 6 points of damage. Brand: you leap forward doing some good and taking nothing back.(you win that one). Tegra: she has not decided on what to do yet. when she does I will post her moves

Ryloth
OOC: well, as Patton once said, "Attack! Attack! and when in doubt, Attack AGAIN! IC: Ryloth falls quickly into his next attack pattern with blinding speed, and continues to slash strongly with precise cuts.

Zydrek
While hurting myself, and the humanoid comes at me again, I ask Thrane to help me. I thrust Thrane at the humanoid's heart and pray to Set that it goes deep enough. Rolled 17+2+4=23 to hit and (6+4)+(5+5)=20+5+3=28 pts. damage. Thank Set that Thrane can h lp, or I don't believe I could do it myself, being in the shape I am in now...

Sanmourn
ooc: Sorry oh great one! I meant to shoot at the second figure. bic: After firing his bow and seeing his attacker step back, Sanmourn loops the bow over his shoulder and draws his sword.

Tegra
Tegra knows who that second figure is (passed Perception check), but before she can come out of her lethargic state and say anything (DAMN IT!), Sanmourn's arrow flies toward him. She screams "Noooo! It's Silk!" and runs straight for the portal, both swo ds out and ready. (So unless the DM has it act like a trampoline and bounce her back...blip! she's gone through).

NARRATION
OOC) Mike it was real nice that you heard from Sam. Tell him that he can come back at any time he wants:) Guys go ahead and roll your own dice. It seems that we are having a problem with the die roller. Walker if you dont have any dice, Dava can roll for you. Make sure you but in your actions the rolls. for you guys that have just gotten your weapons you will have to figure it out. Sanmourn I MUST know what kind of bolt you use when you use your bow. IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE. Don I am still waiting to kno what you are fighting with. I am laxx on a lot of things, so when I ask for something please be kind a tell me or else I will make the choice for you and I promise you will never like it:) "DM'S CHOICE"

The fighting is still going on. Tegra yell's to Sanmourn not to fire but it is to late and the bolt fines it's mark and sticks the figure just before it goes through the portal. Tegra pulls both of her weapons and follows the figure into the portal. Ryloth: you have two knights on you now. One is badly hurt. Fox: you still have one. Brand: You have one. Sanmourn: you have one. Zydrek: you have one. Emma: you have two.

Sanmourn
ooc: Bloody heck! Would have been a lightning arrow first. Hope he's okay....:-( bic: Hoping to end his small fight quickly, Sanmourn leaps at his attacker and swings viciously with his sword.....(rolled 14, missed)

ScarletFox
SF use's +2 Scimatars 2 ea BIC: I attack the figure in front of me again (14+7=21; AC -8 13+7=20 ; AC -7 4+7=11 : AC 2 DAM 7+11=18 ; 6+11=17; 2+11=13) And then take up guard posture.

Ryloth
Ryloth plants a kick into the severely damaged knight to distract, or knock him off balance. Pushing off the wounded knight, he launches himself at the fresh knight with renewed fervor.

Zyrek
After the attacks of the first knight and then the second one attacks, I lunge Thrane into his neck and tear his head off. Rolled a natural crit (20)(OOC:That's a first for me). I wait for the next attack to come...or help whoever is nearest to me.

Emma
2 of these guys huh? Well being small but crafty and when all else fails use the fire power. As the first comes at me I hold my hand to it's heart and give him (it) a bolt of power hoping to give it a heart attack and die on the spot. The second coming at me I pull my small dagger from my boot and jab it into it's heart they both fall and I turn to help out the others. (The die rolled an 18 and a 20.)

Brand
Brand launches into his next opponent, scoring across its midsection (I hope, rolled a natural 16 to hit and 14 damage.) As he readied to finish his adversary off he slipped in some blood and flailed wildly. ( Any second attack I may be allowed missed s I rolled a natural 1. A first for me, a blinking 1.)

NARRATION
Ryloth: when you kick the first kinght he does fall to the ground and droppes his weapon in the process. The damage done by the second one is major. When he fights back, you know right off the bat that this guy knows his stuff. The first hit is hard 12 po nts of damage. The second is a LOT worse. 21 points to you and he diss-arms one of your swords. Brand: Your frist does makes it mark, but only scrathes the enemy. When you go to attack the next time and you slip thinking that you have blown your chance to hit again. You do hit has you silp. When you catch yourslef from hitting the ground you throw y ur sword arm up in the air wildly just as the knight steps in to make his attack and you take of his head. You see that ryloth just took some good blows for the kight that is left to fight him. You see that Emma has two knight on her one that is smoking. ou als see that Tegra is no where to be found. (Damn dice) Emma: You step up and place your hand on the knight heart to kill. Though he shakes badly he does not fall to the ground like you hoped. There is smoke that is coming off of him now. When you stab at the kight with your dagger it just bounces off. (I need to know if your dagger is magical or not) Both kinght attack one hits the other does not 8 points of damage. Zydrek: When you finish of the knight by taking his head off. You look around to see that everyone seems to be doing alright. Ryloth droppes one and takes massive blows from his other kight. Emma seems to be in trouble for she has two knights on her and they are not that hurt even though one is smoking. For the first time you see that Tegra is no where to be found. Fox: It is a tit for tat fight niether one gaining much ground on the other. You take 7 points of damage. Sanmourn: You on the other hand are a master at the bow not the sword. Though you are holding your own the knight does get the upper hand on you this time. 17 points of damage.

Zydrek
As I finish off the Knight, I look to see What is going on with the rest of Dragon's Inc. I see that most everyone is holding their own, except for Emma. I run over and take on one of the knights that is trying to kill her. Rolled 15+2+3= 20 to hit, rolled (6+3)+ (5+6)+5=25 pts. damage. I know that Thrane can keep up with the knights for as long as this takes. I wonder where Tegra went though. I know she hollered that Silk was here somewhere...

ScarletFox
Well it's time for the old Fox to go. BIC: I tumbling (rolled 6 out of 19 DEX) to the side of his shield arm. And strike at his leg and knee area. (ATT 13+7-4=16 AC -3; ATT 14+7-4=17 AC -4 ; Dam 14 & 17)

Brand
Brand praises the gods for his stroke of luck, and thanks Bytor as well. Seeing Zydrek go to the aid of Emma, and the brutal blow absorbed by Ryloth, Brand attacks the knight still standing in front of Ryloth from behind, hoping to get the advantage of s rprise and going for the kill... (Rolled natural 19 to hit and 12 damage. If you want me to add in the extras for the sword, I need to know them...)

Ryloth
Ryloth uses the moment of the blow he absorbed and turn it towards the knight, using his body like a battering ram then scrambling for his other sword.

Sanmourn
Desperately wishing he could use his bow, Sanmourn continues trading blows with his current attacker.....(rolled an 8....I just plain suck!) Hoping that he will at least make a good attack soon, Sanmourn slowly moves around his opponent hoping to get the dark knight caught up with another one of the foul beings so that he can draw his bow!

DUNGEON MASTER
The remaining black knights are easily taken down. Even though a couple of you landed seemingly soft blows, it seemed to be juuuust enough! Twit flies over to Ryloth, pointing a little hand toward the portal, "Tegra! Went in there! Gotta go GET her!" wit flies over, landing on top of the portal, and vanishes. (I'm going to take it that all of you go that way, since your fearless leader is probably hellbent for leather in that direction at this point. EMMA, EMMA, ROLL YOUR PERCEPTION! I NEED IT NOW!!) s each of you reach the portal and your hand touches the pedestal, there is a familiar flash of light, and you are....somewhere else.

When your eyes first adjust, you can see that you are standing around a pedestal similar to the one you just left. You have gone from a very heavily forested area to a desert. There is a huge mountain, and on the side of it you see what appears to be a illage, that appears to have actually been built INTO the mountain. You hear the light sound of swordplay. When you look over, you can see that Tegra and Aegis are fighting two black knights. One is Zarbor. Silk is on the ground, pulling himself out o the way on the ground. All the other people in the area are human. Most of the men are wearing brown leather pants, no shirts, long black hair, and black eyes. They are running around gathering weapons, some are jumping on horses with lances, but none are paying attention to the fight going on. The women are mainly all wearing long dresses of the brown leather, with tops that seem to be made of a sheep's wool. They are gathering the children and are running into the village. About this time, you hea some high-pitched yelling coming from behind you, just over a hill. More of these human men appear riding horses and running in groups. You can immediately tell that this village is WAY outnumbered. The men of the village rush forward and attack the men coming at them on horses and on foot. The only weapons that are being used are daggers, lances, something that looks like a hatchet and bows.

Ryloth
Ryloth is at first astounded and afraid of the desert. He was always told of such places devoid of life, but he never believed it true. Now as he sees his Desert Flower engaged with Zarbor, his feet begin pumping, tossing sand this way and that, while he roars with feral fury. He leaps when he reaches Zarbors back and brings his swords down with all his force. (I'm assuming that the dice roller still does not work so Dava, if you will do the honors) ((((Take care of the knights first))) ))

ScarletFox

As we come through the portal and I see the waste land. As I see the fight just about ready to join the fight I see the rest. As I turn to the oncoming group, I yell out "Zydrek... Brand come with me we'll charge the group, Emma ... Sanmourn attack the group on horse back lets GO!!MOVE no time to argue CHARGE!!!!!!"

Sanmourn
Following quickly through the portal, the young ranger stumbles to a halt as he stands in the desert sands. Expecting to see more of the forest, Sanmourn is taken aback by his empty surroundings. It doesn't take long, though, and as the words of 'Fox fa l upon his ears, Sanmourn turns quickly and looks for the perfect spot from which to launch his attacks with the mighty Bow of Antries. Staring briefly at the bow in his hands, Sanmourn asks, "You and I haven't had very long to get to know one another...and by the look of things to come, we may never get the chance! If there is anything that would aid us in this battle, now would be a re lly, _really_ good time to let me know....." Shaking his head grimly, Sanmourn sprints to the best possible place from where he can attack and begins to loose his arrows, fire first then lightning. ooc: Donald, I can't find a copy of Sanmourn's sheet. Is the web page still accessible where our stats were? Thanks! Oh yeah, dice on the way!

Zydrek
As Twit tells us that Tegra has gone through the "Portal", I am on the heels of Ryloth and Fox. When we get through, I hear the pleasant sound of a party (Swordplay) going on. I, at once, almost before Fox yells for us to follow him, am on my way to the v llage peoples defense of the horsemen. I can see that Ryloth has the Knight that is attacking Tegra in his grasp and am sure that Talon will not last much longer. I, along with Thrane and Maltik will defend the village to the death if need be. I yell, so hat everyone may hear, "SAVE THE HEADS FOR ME". It has been some time that has passed since I have honored Set. I must do this soon. I am sure there will be plenty pretty quick. On with the show...

NARRATION
As the group enter's and all hell breaks lose. Ryolth and Terga giving blows to Zarbor, puts him on the defence. Both of you are surpriuzed that we can keep up with you. A small amulet on his breast plate starts to glow. "Sanmourn there are 3 arrows that I shoot. Fire, lighting and ice. All you do is think of which one that you want. Also if you use your sword again I will not be happy." It will take you one round to reach a place of height. The two groups now are in hand to hand combat. Just a note here guys if you hit them they will die. The trick is hitting them AC -7. You must remember, these folks are someone that you have never seen. Thier style is something that you will have to get us to.

Brand
Following Fox's call, Brand leaps into the fray with Bytor at the ready. As he goes, he hears Sanmourn having a conversation with his bow. What the heck..."OK, Bytor my friend, what special talents do you have?" As he approaches the enemy, he baffles t em with a warcry of "Bedbugs and Ballyhoo" then meets his first foe...

Sanmourn
Smiling a small grin, Sanmourn answers the magnificent bow, "That makes two of us!" Climbling quickly to his perch, the young ranger adds, "I think we'll save the ice arrows until we run out of water....this place doesn't look too hospitable from up here " Once in position, Sanmourn will alternate fire and lightning unless one seems to be more effective.....(ooc: Is that armor class rating the same for me? This might be a _long_ fight....)

NARRATION
Yes Sanmourn the AC is the same for you. Brand: "Well I see that you are learning I see that I can talk. How long before you talk to me again. I can do many things what is it that you want to know?"

Brand
"OK, sabre of mine. Since we are in a bit of a fighting predicament at the moment, what is your favorite way to 'bite'!

DM
To Brand: "Well I have more than one, which one would you'd like?"

ScarletFox
As Fox is entering the battle, I hear that my friends are learning that the way to ture victory is through wisdom. And a large smile forms about his lips, and thinks that the company of the wolf's time has past but its spirit still guides. As I meet the irst group of foot soldiers, I'm using my jumping and tumbling (ROLLS 7 & 11 made checks) to show them a strange way to fight then I attack (ROLLS -7 ,-10 , -9). OOC: anybody make a Zena crack your toast, I played him like that before Zena. Right Donnie! !

Ryloth
Ryloth continues to pound away at a frantic pace at Zarbor, knowing full ell that this could all get very ugly if he allowed Zarbor to use his powers.

NARRATION
The battle between the two tribes is hot and fast. It seems to be over as fast as it started. both sides take heavy casulities. but the attackers are driven off. When the battle stops and you all gather back there are three things that are the talk at the moment. The frist is that it seems the warriors and other people of the village have gathered around Sanmourn. They don't get close to him but they are surely looking at his bow. The women are talking about what they saw his bow do. (you can tell by thier actions . The second thing is that Zarbor and his other knight did leave. The different fighting styles of Tegra and Ryloth was to much for him to handle. Though they fought hard only small blows were landed to Zarbor. The next that is noticed is that Aegis is on his knee's with Silk lying on the ground. Blood is every where. There is a very bad open wound on his side. He is shaking badly. You see where there are two used vials on the ground. Aegis raise's Silk's head o f the ground tring to give him some water. Silk chokes more than he drinks. "You know Aegis, I always knew that being with you would be the death of me one day. I must say though, I did not think it was going to be someone from your own group that would d it to me." Silk looks to Sanmourn. "Don't worry old boy. I guess it is a much my fault as any one's. Should have let you guy's know I was there. Been here with you snice you got on the boat." Silk's eye's widen. "Aegis I'm cold. I'm very cold. Take care ld man. I have a question for you though, is it ture that you elf's don't die, you go to some island right?" Aegis tell's him that he is right. A smile comes to Silk's face. Then his eye's close.

Aegis lays his head back down on the ground. When he looks up at all of you. There is a smile on his face along with some tears. "He goes home. I am not leaving him here." A couple of the female's that are taking care of the wounded come and get Silk. They take him to a place inside of the stone village. Aegis walks along with them. You come to a large room. the women lay silk on the floor and start cleaning his wound and r pairing his armor. There is a small fire off to one side. Aegis sit's down on the floor. Another woman comes over giving all of you a clay cup and she pours water into it. Aegis just stare's at the fire not saying anything.

Emma
Sitting down beside Aegis with the clay cup in my hands "Aegis my friend, I knew you were alive I could feel your presence with us." I lean over hi and give him a warm hug. "There is to much death around us. When will this be over!!" I stammer more to myself than to anyone."Is there anything I can do for your friend, my power is yours if you need it my friend."Looking over at Sanmourn knowing he must feel guilty about what has happened to silk.

ScarletFox
As I check out the area after the battle, I see Agesis holding Silk. I run over and ask if I could help, and understand his mood no their isn't. After I hear Silks words I to say yes it is ture and rest my friend. I then unshealth my swords and lay the on the ground crossed above his head. And then take a knee with my head down.....Rest now...

Zydrek
After the battle, I see Aegis kneeling over Silk. I too, along with Fox, kneel, knowing there is nothing I can do for him... I can only remember this great man and what he has done for us over the years. May the Gods be with you my friend...

Sanmourn
ooc: Well, I was actually hoping someone would kill me off since I keep getting everyone killed....:-( Just kidding! bic: Falling to his knees as he draws near to the scene with Aegis and Silk, Sanmourn feels the Bow of Antries fall from his suddenly nerveless fingers but he doesn't care. "What have I done....?" he mumbles softly as a tear runs slowly down his face. urning his head skyward, the young ranger screams at the top of his lungs, "WHAT HAVE I DONE????? IT WAS _YOU_ WHO PUT ME ON THIS PATH THAT I WALK; IT WAS _YOU_ WHO SAW THE BOW TO MY HANDS; IT WAS ALWAYS _YOU_ TO WHOM I PRAYED TO KEEP ME SAFE! AND NOW.. ..NOW I HAVE USED THE BOW TO KILL A GOOD MAN!" Dropping his head to his hands, Sanmourn adds softly, "How could you have been so wrong, Mielikki? I am not worthy...." Unable to meet the eyes of those around him, Sanmourn stares silently at the Bow whic , only moments before, was his most cherished possession. Not is seems more like a poisonous snake...

Zydrek
I agree with Aegis. Silk must go home. We cannot leave him here. It would not be right. So I guess we go back to Waterdeep then... Ryloth, will be go back, or let Aegis take Silk back home? Either way, I must appease Set. I did not burn the heads of our e emy back there. I followed the rest of you along behind Aegis, when the women brought Silk here. I will go back later and burn them, for it is his will and I must obey...For now though, my thoughts are with Silk....

Ryloth
Ryloth looks thoughtfully at Silk, knowing that his injuries are beyond his ability to heal. He remainst thoughtful until he hears Sanmourn start screaming. Ryloth walks swiftly behind Sanmourn, and strikes him hard in the kidneys. Ryloth con inues to pummel him viciously, but silently. After a time, he is stradling him on the ground, with his arms restrained, and blood flowing from Sanmourn's nose. Gruffly he says, "I tire of your whining, but I can live with it. Your self pity is annoying but I can live with it. But when you question your god and mine you have gone too far. I am the last Druid of the Shadowweir Order of Mielikki, and I will not hear her defamed. I will not see her faithful degrade themselves. I am going to train you, nd you will obey me until I say you are done. You will not snivel anymore! We WILL discuss this further on the way home." With that he stands and says to the others, "Lets get going home. I don't know where we are, so if you'd like to tell us Aegis... ."

Sanmourn
"I say we discuss it _now_!" Sanmourn calls, kicking hard at the side of Ryloth's exposed knee. Now waiting for the crack of bone, Sanmourn rolls swiftly over and strikes the man against the side of his head once, twice, a third time. "I'll not listen t you anymore; you have not yet earned _my_ respect. I tired long ago of your pathetic attempts at leadership. The others may allow you to wear the mantle that you think you deserve, but not me. 'Last of the Shadowweir.....', it no longer carrys the meaning it once did....if ever it did."

Ryloth
Grunting, Ryloth mumbles, "You do not know your place yet Ranger but you will." Ryloth calls upon his Druid abilities and transforms into a giant silverback gorilla. Grabbing the leg that is kicking him, he hurls him away from him (in all likely hood wr nching the muscles in his thigh). With heavy black hands, and a hairy body Ryloth pins him to the ground, and knocks him into unconsciousness (or continues hitting him until he goes unconcious). When Sanmourn goes unconscious, Ryloth reverts back to his half-elven form. "He has long strayed from the clergy, and is quickly forgetting his faith. If he continued down his chosen path, he would have lost everything. There is much fear in him. Fear, leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffer ng. This is the pathway a ranger goes down before turning wrong. I have seen it happen twice before, but was not in a position to stop it. But I am now."

NARRATION
After the fight between Ryloth and Sanmourn. Aegis gets up and walks over to check on Sanmourn. He raises his head and gives him some water. He also gives him some healing potion to make up for any damage that Ryloth might have done. "Get up Sanmourn. You know you kinda did need that. Everyone makes mistakes young ranger. You along with the rest of this party is new at this. Some of you are newer at this than the others. Silk new the risk in coming here. He knew what might happen. You had NO way to know th t it was him that you were shooting at. You see I know Silk and there is no way that you would have known who he was. Pick up your bow, pray to your god for forgiveness. You did nothing wrong, remember that. If you let every thing that bad happens to you et you down and make's you turn your back on who and what you are, then the evil will take you over. Know this Sanmourn if that does happen then I will kill you. I know you are good. Let it grow inside of you. You are mad at the wrong person here anyway. ou wrath should be at Zarbor not yourslef." Aegis then looks at all of you. "There is somthing that all of you must understand. These weapons are made to kill not harm or hurt but kill. They are here to keep evil from over taking this world. They will eit er do it with or with out you. But they will get the job done."

"Now there is a way out of here I think. I saw these people in a dance a couple of nights ago. I swear it looked like there was one of them dressed like a dragon. Then one of them should me where this dragon lived. I got close to the place where he should me and I must say that if this is a dragon he is old VERY old. There is something else to when I got close my weapons began to glow. Now I think it might be the way out of here but there is nothing I can to let you know that if this is a dragon as old as think then he will be hard very hard to kill. So it's up to you guys."

Sanmourn
Standing slowly, Sanmourn listens quietly to Aegis' words but is unable to meet the elder's eyes. "I understand..." he mumbles, "...it won't happen again." Picking up his bow, Sanmourn glances at Ryloth, "I meant no disrespect to our Goddess...and I har or no anger towards you. Aegis was right, I did deserve it. If she will have me back, I will try to regain Mielikki's favor."

Scarlet Fox
I listen to Agesis' words and understand where it comes from, but the way it played out was all wrong. "I wounldn't mind getting home Agesis, but to fight another dragon? You know I have had my fill of them a century ago! But it never ends does it, goo must keep the balance true. Well Ryloth we better come up with a GOOOOOD plan, I haven't lived all these years to die in a waste land. What I have to help with is my swords and a few healing potions. Unless these swords are more than they appear, no c n't be my time has past it is your time to fight the fight. But my life is here to fight."

Tegra
Tegra watches silently as the struggle between Ryloth and Sanmourn rages. When it is over, she brushes a finger across Ryloth's cheek, a proud smile on her face, her smile saying more than words ever could. Quietly, she says just loud enough for Sanmourn to also hear, "Now you act as a leader...and see in others what you saw in yourself." She watches as Aegis pushes aside his own grief, and attends to Sanmourn, as well as instructing the group, and decides that she must offer what she can. After his com ents about the dragon, she brings him off to the side, motioning for him to sit once again. Struggling with herself, it takes a few moments, but then she does something that will probably seem strange to the humans in the group, vaguely familiar to the ha f-elves, and very familiar to another elf. She sits down in a lotus position in front of Aegis. Her face mirrors the pain he's trying to hide, and she gently takes one of his hands, placing it palm to palm with hers. She says simply, "Share him with me."

Zydrek
I stand and watch as Ryloth pummels Sanmourn. When he is finished and Aegis walks over to help Sanmourn, I listen to what he has to say and get a little excited at the thought of another dragon slaying. His head will look well on a stick over a fire. I ha e burned the heads of the ones we fought earlier and have appeased Set for now, but it seems that he always wants more. I watch as Tegra trys to console Aegis and Ryloth. She is right you know Ryloth, now you must take charge and as Fox has said, we must ome up with a plan or this dragon. If it is the only way out, then we must go that direction. Let us take care of this dragon with swift strikes and may the gods direct our weapons for us. I am ready or what lay ahead of us. I walk towards Ryloth and get eady to make a plan of action...

Ryloth
We need to know what the new weapons can do before we get planning. I'd also like to know more about the Dragon, Aegis. Is it a blue? What are it's daily habits and so on?

NARRATION (as Aegis)
After Aegis and Tegra get done, Aegis' step is a bit lighter, but he does still glance over to his old friend on occasion. "So, you all want to know what this dragon can do? And what we are getting ready to get into? Okay, this is what I know. I believe we are still on the same planet, but we are definately in a different time zone...I can't tell if it's the future or the past. The dragon is not a blue one, it is a red. We, huh, are about a half day's ride, and he's up on a mountain, in a huge cave. He's been living off the wild beasts that roam...big black hairy-looking things with horns. I have also discovered that our weapons ARE made for dragons. Mine are made for black dragons. They told me that there are some other weapons that the dragon has, that are from the same material as mine. Fox, I don't know how, but I saw Dove and Crow in the dragon's lair. This dragon is not going to be like any other that we've fought. More than likely the first thing he's going to use is his breath. He will then be able to use magic spells. As long as he can do both, it's going to be deadly to get to him. If we can get in close, we'll have a chance. Just remember, he'll use breath, then magic, then breath again...he can alternate. We've GOT to keep him on the ground. If he takes flight, it'll be impossible to kill him. My weapons also told me that they were made specially for an individual, so for those who don't have these types of weapons, if you see the one you are supposed to have..that's the first thing you need to grab! If you don't have a magical weapon, you're NOT gonna hurt this guy. Ryloth, Emma, save your magical spells...we may need them after this is over with to either get us the hell out of there, or to help heal us. Ryloth, I'm not telling everyone what to do, I'm just suggesting, since I've scouted this dragon out. Emma, Sanmourn, use your ability from afar, don't get in there...you might have to come rescue somebody. Ryloth, you and Tegra, you guys try to stay to the left of him. Brand, Zydrek, you stay to the right of him. Fox, I know Dove and Crow are up there...remember that time we fought that green dragon? And he brought out them trolls? Betcha this guys got something like that too. You watch for them...anything that might come out of the cracks. I'm gonna try to get to the head of this monster...if I can blind him, we can have him beat. That's my idea anyways Ryloth...what do you think?"

Brand:
"I'm game. Are there any known weaknesses to a red dragon? Any chinks in the armour, blind spots, hangnails? Anything would help. Also, where does he live - is it light, dark, etc?" He pulls Bytor from his scabbard, and asks the bright blade, "Do YOU have any ideas on how you would be best used to kill a red dragon, my friend?"

Zydrek:
I guess if we are going to have to fight a dragon, then a red one is alright by me. Thrane is made for a red dragon and Maltik is always ready for a good battle. I am ready to go whenever you are Ryloth. As Aegis has said though, we should be very vigilant and keep an eye on this dragon. You never know what they are going to do...

ScarletFox:
You know me Aegis, I'll die keeping the group safe. I'll go in with Ryloth and Tegra, then break off to find my "babies" and take care off the rear. Unless you think I should sneak in before the fight. So I think we should come up with an attack order. Like I try to slip in while Brand and Zydrek take up position to the right outside the cave and Ryloth And Tegra take the left. Then have Emma and Sanmourn start the attack by fire what they can. Sanmourn what type of Ice attacks can your Bow produce? And Aegis with them. Then have the flanks move in and attack, Aegis take it to the hole. Any ideas and improvements? Before we move out for the battle I change into my deep blue pants and violet shirt with black boots. stealth mode active.

Ryloth:
All good suggestions, except for my part. I can't do anything to this dragon, because I don't have my magical weapon. Emma and Sanmourn need to punch some big holes in this Dragon's wings first thing off so that it can't fly. Zydrek, my friend, you're about the only one that can put some true hurting on this thing at the moment, so a lot of the battle is going to depend on you to begin with. You will be in the most immediate danger, so I will stick close to you and heal you as best I can. Fox needs to look for my scimitar, Vengeance. Fox, its a scimitar, and it's got a fiery red stone in it. Remember not to touch it. Emma, you need to empty your spell fire on this guy. I get the feeling that he'll be hurling enough spells for you to re-absorb your power. Emma's spell absorbtion power will in all likelyhood be our only true defense. We must strike fast. If the rest of us don't find our weapons, all will be lost. We have faced this situation before, though this seems far more hopeless. But we have been here before. We don't need sorrowful inspiring words of final parting before we go "just in case". We all allready know. Let's just do our jobs. And if it begins to feel like the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders, that is only because it is. If we fail, the world dies. I expect only your best, just as I always have.

Tegra:
Tegra looks oddly for a moment at Ryloth, then shakes her head, smiling to herself. "Ryloth, you're getting old and forgetful.....Brand has a magical sabre that he's been speaking to, I have Treva, the other magical scimitar...and dearheart, have you forgotten the family sword my father gave you? Or have you done anything with it besides stick it in its sheath and carry it around?" Tegra looks expectently at Ryloth with a small grin on her face, waiting for the dawning of enlightenment to hit him.

Ryloth:
I may be a bit senile, but I didn't forget all of that. True I have the D'are blade, but I don't know what the hell it does, and I never got Shandassar (Azuth rest his soul) to check it out. Brand doesn't know what his sabre does, because he just got it unless it's told him a bit more than we know. That leaves you Aegis and Zydrek to handle the Melee, with Emma a Sanmourn the sizable responsibility of keeping it pinned down. Close enough to the scenario I described dearheart.

Walker:
It just struck me that this quote from the Blues Brothers is suprisingly fitting: "80 miles to Chicago, we have half a pack of cigarrettes, a full tank of gas, it's dark and we're wearing sun glasses. Hit it. We're on a mission from the Gods."

Tegra:
Tegra has this uncontrollable urge to put on dark sunglasses, but shrugs off the urge. "Well, Brand might have talked to that blade more than you think, and I forgot to mention that Sanmourn has his magical bow and obviously knows how to use it. Now, I know that Shandassar didn't get to tell you anything about it, but how long did it take us last time to attempt ANYTHING with the weapons? And remember how stupid we felt that we had never considered it." She touches a lock of hair, looking at it briefly (at which point Ryloth will be shocked to find a pure white streak running through the dark red), then blows it out of her face. "I don't have my main fighting sword, I'm in a barren-ass looking place with strange animals, I've gained this lovely white streak from reverie with Aegis, and I'm not in the mood to die today. So why don't you at least try swinging the sword at something inanimate, saying a few commands while pointing it at something that won't hurt, and trying out what worked on Vengeance. I believe your first words may have been something to the effect of 'Hey you!'"

ScarletFox:
Lets us try this all of you come together, remember when the weapons flared when the got close to each other . Well it may be worth a try, it sure can't hurt. For us to win, it must be done with all of us. For you seem to forget the weapons I have will not harm the dragon and they're magical. But yet I still go, perhaps its not the strenght of the weapons but the strenght of the weilders heart. It something I learned from my son, your innerself is stronger than your weapons at hand. After speaking with the group I go sit and think of Dove and Crow useing my Company of the Wolf symbol. Consintrating on the elfstones in the hilts, scarlet of my soul, white of my essence, and violet of my path (algin).....It's our time to be one again, until our time is done......I wait.

Ryloth:
::he gives his wife a "well aren't you a little miss smarty pants look:: Ryloth draws the D'are blade, and holds it before him, and says, if a bit hesitantly, "We haven't had time to get properly aquainted. You know who I am, I don't have a clue as to who you are. In anycase, if you didn't pick up on it, we're about to go into a really big fight with a really bad dragon. In short, I'm going to need all the help I can get. Well this is kind of awkward so if you have anything usefull to contribute, feel free too at this time."

NARRATION:
Ryloth's attempts with the D'Are sword doesn't respond in any way that he can discern. However, while he is praying to his god for healing powers, he DOES realize THOSE are enhanced considerably while holding the sword. Scarlet Fox goes to sit down, and he pulls out his amulet of the Company of the Wolf. Once again, you are amazed at the craftsmanship of the amulet. Aegis smiles, and for the first time, you see him pull his out. It is the same silhouette of a wolf's head, inside of a circle. However, his is cut from crystal. It is a light blue and translucent. Aegis looks up with amazement when his amulet and Fox's begin to glow. Aegis yells, "Scarlet, Wait...!" But it is too late. There is the feeling of magical energy building...no flash of light this time, but you do feel the sensation of travel. This is what you see... You are inside a mammoth cave. There is light that is naturally coming in through the different fissures in the rock, but what makes the light radiate is the gold and silver, platinum and gems that make up the floor of this cave. The cave is at least 100 feet high. Bats fly around on occasion, their squeaking muted in the vast expanse. Many tunnels lead out of the cave, boulders and outcroppings of rock are everywhere. Everyone is scattered throughout the cave, though you can see each other. As soon as you entered, the weapons of Gerwig immediately began to glow, Thrane the most prominently. He is actually humming with it. Emma's eyes are glowing, Twit is almost fluorescent red with the glow. Twit is the one who says it. "Mogwa? Vengance? They both are here! We've found 'em, we've found all the weapons!" What fills your eyes, however, is one, that you see an enormous red dragon. His long neck is covering one of his forepaws, as he is laying down completely in one of the beds of jewels and coins. The other is that on top of an exceptionally large pile of one of these treasure troves stands Scarlet Fox. On either side of him, sticking out of the pile about halfway, are two scimitars. One is white, one is black. Fox is standing between them. The dragons eyes slowly open, looking directly at Scarlet Fox. He then raises his head and neck slowly, the tinkling of coins as they fall off his scales strangely loud in the sudden silence. The raising of the giant head brings it within a few feet of Scarlet Fox, one steely eye taking Fox's measure as it's size equals his own.... "I have not smelled nor seen your kind in eons..how is it that thou has come to this place?" The dragon raises its head farther up into the cave. "...And why is it that you bring others with you? I smell you all...I see you all...why are you here?"

Ryloth:
Since it seems that Fox has more to say to this Dragon, Ryloth will allow him to. To those that are familiar with him, there is a discernable change in his behavior. Tegra would say that he almost reverts to the "old" Ryloth. Silent. Brooding. Emanating an Aggressive energy mirrored by the fiery glow of Vengeance. Slowly, gracefully, with purpose, he edges his way towards Vengeance. A smirk comes to his lips as he thinks to himself that soon Ancient Elfin magick and the vengful blade of the druids will soon dance together. It will be a great battle, and as a certain Klingon would say, "It is a good day to die!"

Brand:
"Good day to die, he says," mumbles Brand to himself as he adjusts his grip on Bytor. "This is one intense leader we have here. After we get out of here maybe someone can teach him how to relax." Of course, he realizes this is exactly the fellow you need in a fight, so it is all righteous to him. Brand glances around the room, trying to orient himself in regards to the dragon and other members of the group. (DM: where am I?) To Bytor: "Any advice, my glowing friend, before our biggest test to date?"

Sanmourn:
Suddenly appearing with the dragon so close, Sanmourn holds his fire. Glancing at the bow in his hands, he mumbles softly, "Well, weapon of Gerwig, I think we shall dance together at least once more, eh? If it's all the same to you, what say we fire lightning and ice arrows only. I've got a sneaky feeling fire may not be our ally this time....." Glancing at the others and around the cavern, Sanmourn looks for the best possible place to be in order to fire at the dragon's eyes.......

Zydrek
While Fox is talking to the red dragon, I look around the room to get my bearings and also look to see where everyone else is. I see Ryloth edging towards Vengeance and can feel Thrane throbing in my hands. Fire balls, nah, wouldn't even have a chance. The dragon would only become more enraged. Yes Ryloth, it is a good day to die. And we may at that. I edge towards the right side of the dragon ever so slowly that even the dragon nor anyone else can discern that I am moving. I hope that Tegra is looking for Mogwa and is moving towards it also... The head of this dragon on a spit would look great. Just a thought to myself...I edge closer getting ready for the melee that is imminent...

ScarletFox
Move: As I say this I reach out with both hands and grasp the hilt, but not pulling them out. "I am ScarletFox leader and the last member of the Company of the Wolf." Amulet is around my neck. "I am here to reclain my families blades. And we are here to find away home. And I would like not to test all of our powers here and now." I wait for a reaction.

Tegra
Tegra freezes where she's at when the dragon begins to speak, not wanting to be toast anytime soon. Instead, after hearing Twit's comments, she concentrates as hard as she can and screams in her mind, "Mowga, where are you!?!?"

NARRATION
(DM's Note: You can find the map of everyone's positions by clicking on "Maps" in the AD&D area. Mowga and Vengeance are sticking up out of the rock right where their names are, as in "King Arthur". Sanmourn, the heavy red area by your name is a ledge you can climb up on.) As the conversation is being held between the dragon and Fox, the dragon raises his head a bit more, cocking it to one side. His enormous tail raises, crashing down again on the cave floor, feet from Ryloth, causing Ryloth to jump backwards from his forward movement. The dragon snorts, his eyes scanning the room. "Yes, dear lady, Mogwa hears you. As far as any weaknesses I might have, try them all. I have been hit with lightening, ice and fire...and I still live. You (the dragon looking again at Scarlet Fox) are not the leader..you may have been, but you are not now. I smell something that brings back memories..there is an old one with you. But yet I cannot place the name. Are you here for me? Or are you here for the weapons?" Emma, the dragon, and Twit are the first to recognize the surge of energy. Several small flashes appear throughout the room. Ice is now standing side by side with Scarlet Fox. Ryloth sees Zarbor...Zarbor does not see him (he's about 20 feet in front you). Tegra see's Black Rose at the same time Black Rose see's her (she's by Emma). There are five other black knights scattered about the room. Sanmourn, you make your way up the ledge. You CAN see everyone..you see Aegis for a minute, and then he disappears (poof!). Ice bows extravagantly to the dragon. "Yes dragon, they are here to take the weapons. I am here to stop them, and possibly to further your existence, and to bring back your kind. When was it the last time your kind flew the skies freely? Roamed the world and did as you wished? Your kind, like mine, has been shunned by all the other races. We have been hunted and killed. Sometimes for the mere pleasure. With our combined forces, we can bring back the days when we both roamed this world."

Tegra
Tegra groans as the flashes appear, intuitively knowing just who it might be. Her head jerks up as the dragon reads her mind, but she stays silent as Ice and her cronies appear. Offering a silent prayer to Chanteau for her safety, she motions for Twit to come sit on her shoulder, and moves to her left from behind the boulder, facing the dragon. "Great one, I do believe you've just been insulted." She looks with disgust at Ice for a moment, then continues. "Yes, we are here for the weapons. I am the true wielder of Mogwa and she rightfully belongs in my hands and in no other. We do not come for you nor your treasure, but the same cannot be said for that one, or her peons. She must think you a fool to flower pretty speech and promises, yet not have the respect to appear herself. Her plan leaves this world destroyed, not fit for your kind or any other to live upon. That is the price she will not say for your help. The gods lead us to claim our weapons and stop her, and it is for only that reason we disturb you."

ScarletFox
I look at Ice "It has been a long time, hasn't it? (To Dragon) Great one you are correct, I am not the leader. My group was all killed as I was by this Drow and her forces. I was brought back to help stop her conquests again. And I will, but I don't wish any fight with you. To myself you have done nothing. But I have a good idea that Ice or her peons planted these weapons here, to force you to help her bet us because she tried and failed several times. I know your great wisdom will show you the truth and honor in this matter." DM Does the Moonblades react to my touch? I say to them in my head I'm glad to hold you once more.

Ryloth
"Great One, I lead this group, and Fox speaks truly. This coalition of black skinned freaks and lumbering dead are attempting to use your manifest magnificence like a tool. They speak flowery words to your face, but will discard you when they are through. They have stolen our magic, what makes you think that they will not seek to steal your gold. Thieves are theives no matter how they appear. And if they destroy us, what will stop them from seeking your destruction? Before you choose your side, ask yourself how trust worthy a drow is, and how wise is to be near one who is cursed by the gods himself?"

Zydrek:
As the rest of Dragon's Inc. talks to the dragon, I am still ever so slowly walking to his right side along the wall of the cave in the shadows. I am not sure if he has seen me yet, but in my attempt to move closer to him, I can feel Thrane pulsing ever so strongly. I move closer...

Emma:
Move: As we are deposited into the cave I feel the extra energy pulsating though my body. "There are others here beware" I say before the evil ones show themselves. I look up and up and up to see this giant dragon in awe at its color and greateness. Knowing full well that the only way to beat something this great is by witts. Hopefully Dragon's Inc. has some tricks up there sleeves. I crouch down and pull out the book of spells to ready some for healing and quick travel out of here if we should need it. As Ice and Black Rose appear rage builds within me. I stand and put the book into my pack and make ready for battle with the evil bitches.
