Shiny bright, curly auburn hair down the length of her back and bright green eyes that seem to pierce
through to your mind to read your thoughts. Clear white skin the color of new fallen snow with dark ruby red
lips that seem to have kissed the red, red rose. Long, slim fingers laiden with gold & emeralds, a matching
necklace circles her silken neck, with emerald earrings dangling from her lobes. Across her shoulders is a
cloak of midnight blue and underneath is a ruby colored shirt with breeches that snug her body. At her waist,
a small golden dagger given to her by her master rests beside a small pouch. Covering her auburn hair from
the winds is a hood with the symbol of her lord and master embroidered upon it. Her steed, a charcoal black
horse answering to the name of Thundering. Sitting on the top of the hill looking down upon the village of
Phineas, wondering if she could buy any information from the villagers. Even so a good meal and drink
would help to strengthen her for the battle she will soon engage.
Born into a loving family in the lands of Tizem, south of Phineas, Emma discovered her talents late in life and
struggled to contain the energies coursing through her. Finding a mentor able to help her control her abilities,
Emma eventually fell in love and was married to Devin Valeneed, a wizard of no small stature. Upon a joyous
night celebrating the anniversary of their fifth year of marriage, Devin gave to her a set of jewels unlike any other.
Emeralds set in gold, to first to match her eyes, the later to match her fire, the collection was exquisite. This too, upon the night of her greatest horror....
Now, a girl at the age of 26, lost and alone, having lost everything she had to the animals that killed her husband
and took her infant son, Raven. At the age of 2 he possessed many qualties that she herself had taken years
to learn from her mentor. He was the chosen one and she must find him. A young wielder of spellfire could
be a valuable asset to the evil monsters that invaded her castle, burning it to the ground. Her husband and
son had been asleep while she practiced her abilities by the dim candle in the study. Never hearing a sound as
the murderer sliced her husband's throat, thankful, she was, that it was a sudden death and he did not suffer
long. They took her son, setting his room on fire then escaping through a window. Smelling smoke she ran
to Raven's room to save him, finding only an empty burning bed. Tears filling her eyes, she ran to the room
that Devin and she shared only to find him dead in his own blood, a lone black rose lying atop his body.
Screaming, she knew she must leave the castle before she too was burned. Collecting what she could to sell
and pawn for food she packed her small bag and ran to the stable to fetch her horse. Thinking she could find
the bastards that did this and get her son back.
Emma cleared her mind of the thoughts of that night, wiping the tears from her glassed over eyes, she made
her way to the village...
