DRUIDLANDS: CHARACTERS:

ZHAN KASHIRNI - (Fighter/Assassin Kit)

My name is Zhan Kashirni. I am a half-elf. I hail from a fairly well sized village called Lotune', on the northern coast of the main Moonshea Island. My mother, Damean Kashirni, is human and my father, Mystofus Kashirni, run a small shop in the village. My father has taught me all that he knows of my trade, which pertains to...well, we shall just say that I can take care of myself and those I call friend, very well indeed. My father has helped many a time, to turn back the barbarian northern raiders that appear at townships and villages to pillage and burn and to take them over, just for their pleasure. The barbarians feel that if they could take over the village of Lotune', that they would have the hold they need to invade the mainland.

While living in the seaport of Lotune', I have heard of the wonders of different lands and have been looking forward to travel to these places. One day, I was sitting on the docks, watching the latest sailing ship leave the port of my village, when my father walked up to me and said we needed to have a talk. I wondered what I had done to have my father come down here looking for me to talk to me. My thoughts were flailing in my mind, when he looked at me with a saddened face and told me that he could teach me no more. I had learned all that I could from him. He said that in order for me to become a man and to find out just what really is out there, then I must see for myself. He said that he had booked me passage on the next ship leaving for Waterdeep and that it leaves in the morning. My thoughts raced back over the years at what I had learned and what I still needed to learn. I could remember the times my father had taken me to the mountains and gotten me lost and told me to find my way. Of the times I had stayed in the mountains for the longest times taking care of myself, learning how to survive and to live off the lands. Of practicing over and over again, how to use the broadsword that hangs at my side in its scabbard and of how the daggers that I carry could bring me food in the wilderness if I used them properly. Enough of memories, I have a trip to take and many things to learn. I will board that ship in the morning with the thoughts that whatever may come my way, I will, with the utmost confidence, be able to take care of business.

As I step off the ship in Waterdeep, I notice that it is a very active place. New buildings going up, many people of different races an cultures walking about, all seeming to be on the same quest as I. Not knowing where they are going or what they are about to do. I head off in the direction of the the towns center to begin my quest.......That of becoming the best in my trade!
