The SAS water jump near Lopburi and the PARU water jumps in Hua Hin. I have also request dry land jumps from both the SAS and the PARU and as you know they have been very good to us in the past. In any event, the SAS will award the basic RTAF basic airborne wings and the coveted SAS wings. The PARU will award the prestigious PARU commando wings. Participants can also qualify for the special PARU SCUBA dive badge if they wish (as we have done in previous years). Many paratroopers have shown an interest in this jump series since we first announced it in April 2003.

I am working on a 'bonus jump' with the Royal Thai Marines, which if approved will take place on April 7 and 8th. As you will remember, Friendship Airborne water jumped with them in 1994 and 1996 and their gold wings with anchor are rare indeed. In all of the above cases the participating paratroopers will receive an official certificate signed by a senior officer (and awarded by a senior officer).
