Children Learn What They Live

If a child live with criticism, He learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, He learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, He learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, He learns to be feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, He learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, He learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, He learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, He learns justice.
If a child lives with security, He learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, He learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship,
He learns to find love in the world.

No Stopping God's Grace

This was a cute story sent to me by a friend. I do not know the author. If you do, please let me know so I can give credit. Thanks.

Bob was caught up in the spirit where he and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, thoe score was tied zero to zero, and it was bottom of the 9th inning with two outs.
They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate whose name was Love. Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails. The next batter was named Faith, who also hit a single cause Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch: Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass, because Godly Wisdom does not swing at Satin's pitches. Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, becasue Godly Wisdom never swings at Satin's throws.
The bases were loaded. The Lord then turned to Bob and told him He was going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Bob said he sure did not look like much! Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shcok of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen. But Satan was not worried; his center fielder, the Prince of the air, let very few get by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; then it continued over the fence for a homerun! The Lord's team won.
The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith, and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game. Bob answered that he did not know why. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith, and wisdom had won the game, you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, faith, and wisdom will get you on base, but only my grace can get you home. My grace is the one thing Satin cannot stop."

If you would like to know how to "get home", read my testimony of what that grace has done in my life. God bless!

Competition

Jesus and Satin were discussing who is the better computer programmer. They agreement to hold a contest, with God as the judge. They set themselves before their computers and begin. They type furiously, lines of code streaming the screen, for several hours straight. Seconds before the end of the competition, a bolt of lightening strikes, taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces that the contest is over. He asks Satin to show what he has come up with. Satan is visably upset, and cries, "I have nothing. I lost it all when the power went out." "Very well, then" says God, "let us see if Jesus fared any better." Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid color, the voices of an angelic choir pouring forth from the speakers. Satan is astonished. He stutters, "B-b-but how?! I lost everything, yet Jesus' program is intact! How did He do it?"

God chuckles, "Everyone knows.........Jesus saves."
