I have been practising running for about five years (1995-2000). My main focus was on 400m - 1500m (and I'm absolutely not talented in this field at all -- my time for 100m and 200m tell it). Unfortunately I never practise in winter -- too cold ... As a result my personal running records are extremely bad ... anyway here they are ... (just don't laugh!!)

Notice I haven't practised since Feb 2000 (too lazy after the Hong Kong vacation). Now my results should be much worse :-(
I was one of the volunteers who worked for the Sydney Olympic 2000! My position was "Network IT Specialist -- Technical Support". The title sounds cool but the work was quite simple. Just to sit and wait for network problems, lodge the problems and perform some regular check-ups -- and this is basically it!
As a return for working in such a voluntary position, I received a free set of Olympic uniform, which includes shirt × 2, trousers × 2 pairs, socks × 2 pairs, a jacket, a hip bag, a hat and a watch. In addition to this, I also received a free entry ticket to the stadum on 28/09/00 :-) :-). There were 7000 free closing ceremony tickets for the volunteers but since there were too many volunters (about 45000), I didn't get one ...
I did not get paid for the voluntary work, of course!
