September 16 update:

• I don't know if I'm writing this to get it off my chest or what but I have the impending need to share my feelings on the tragic events that took place earlier this week on the East Coast. My feelings have shifted from shock and fear on Tuesday morning (my little brother goes to school and lives in New York City) to sadness to anger as of today. I am angry, very angry. First at the bastards who destroyed the World Trade Center and who hurt and killed so many innocent people, but also at those people who are TERRORIZING Americans just because of their race and/or creed.

  As part of a minority myself, I am used to getting ugly looks from people from time to time just because of my race. I am, nevertheless, a proud American: proud of a country where one has freedom, rights and an opportunity to make something of one's self. As a fan of anime (especially of shoujo anime), I have been the subject of harassment, ridicule and mockery from people who don't understand anime and even from other anime fans who are not understanding and tolerant of lesser-known genres and titles.

  So seeing these acts of harassment, acts of discrimination, acts of TERRORISM towards Americans just because they are of Arabic descent or who profess the Islamic faith, has made me very, very angry. We're showing the terrorists that we're just as evil as they are: we are hurting INNOCENT people who have nothing to do with the conflict. Instead, let's focus our anger and our efforts in pursuing and punishing those who are really guilty. As an American citizen, I expect and demand full retaliation against those who have perpetrated these cowardly acts against our great nation.

  Seeing the images of the rubble in southern Manhattan reminded me of some very sad events that happened more than 15 years ago. Back in 1985, I survived the great earthquake that shook and devastated a great part of Mexico City. Thousands of people died there but, some people were found alive many, many days after the earthquake so, let's not lose hope! I know we will find some more people alive down there!! So, let's hang together. United we stand, divided we fall. We're all Americans and we can get together through this. God Bless all those who died, all those helping down there in NYC. God Bless America!

• I'm very sorry but, I have been extremely busy the last couple of months. Seems like things will be settling down at work, so hopefully I'll start replying to e-mails and fulfilling request in the very near future!
• Anime Expo keeps going downhill (and I don't see a good future with its massive expansion and tight industry control). I had to cut my trip short (I only stayed Thursday and Friday) but, I don't really think I missed much ^_^;;;
• I thought I had more Akihabara Dennougumi cels scanned but apparently, the scans got misplaced. I will re-scan them and post them. But in the meanwhile, you can enjoy my new Idol Project and Kaitou Saint Tail cels!

• I uploaded all of the videos to my Streamload account so if you're interested in obtaining them, send me an e-mail to aleczman@yahoo.com and request them. Don't forget to include your Streamload account (however, see notes below ...)
• The clips that I encode are by no means of "exceptional quality". The reasoning behind them is to allow fans to get a taste of lesser known shows by downloading relatively small files (< 12MB) and deciding whether the show is for them or not. Therefore, please do not complain to me with messages "the quality sucks!" and the like. I am an extremely busy person and I do all this in the very little time I have after work and my social life!
• I'm going to go to Anime Expo this year so, e-mail will be delayed even more (I should fulfill Streamload requests sometime next week). Hopefully I'll put something up soon about my trip and cosplay pics (I'm still working on the Otakon ones from last year ^_^;;;)
• I got more cels from Akihabara Dennougumi but, haven't had time to post them. They should be up sometime next week ...

• If you're interested in downloading any of Initial D OP1, Love Hina OP and/or Kaitou Saint Tail ED3 and can't get into the Myspace.com servers, you can check out http://y42.briefcase.yahoo.com/aleczman. The files are RAR'ed so, they will need decoding and subsequently unzipping. I will leave those 3 files until sometime early May so that I can rotate them with another 3.

• I'm gonna try something new this month concerning the download of the videos. I signed up for an account at a file hosting service but, since I don't want bandwidth to explode and there are only 3 files available, I'll send the URL to those people who are interested in downloading those 3 files (Initial D OP1, Love Hina OP, Kaitou Saint Tail ED3) via e-mail. If you're interested in downloading any or all of those files (which are in RAR format and will need decoding), please send an e-mail to aleczman@dzn.com with the subject reading EXACTLY "Anime video URL request", without the quotes. If you wish, in the body of the message, tell me which 3 additional files you would be interested in downloading. I'll be searching my mail by subject and will be sending the URL out 3 or 4 times a week. I'll see how this works and if it proves successful, I will be rotating the files to give those who can't get into myspace.com a chance to download the videos.

• Some more new acquisitions added to "the list". If you're interested IN A TRADE, don't offer me stuff that I am NOT EVEN REMOTELY interested in, like Dragonball or dubbed anime (which includes stuff off TV!!), specially if you're interested in stuff that is a fansub that is NOT listed in blue.

• I got back from Shoujocon last Sunday evening and I had fun. For a first year con, it wasn't bad. I got to paint a cel during the Cel Workshop. You can see it here (it's not that great but, for a person with as much artistic talent as a fire hydrant ^^;; I think it was OK).

• It seems like the jerks at xoom.com decided to pull the plug on my site w/o having the minimum courtesy of telling me about it. I uploaded my site to my Geocities account for the time being.
