Whether you are looking for a seaside holiday or a longer term living arrangement, The Beach House in Algies Bay is the ideal choice. Located on the beautiful Kowhai coast of the north island of New Zealand, just an hours drive from Auckland,The Beach House is a duplex hosting two self-contained, fully furnished residences on each level overlooking the scenic Algies Bay. Just a five minute stroll to the beach, this newly rennovated duplex is set in tranquil surroundings yet within reach of all the sites and activities the region has to offer.

Available for lease year round, for long- or short-term, The Beach House allows you to enjoy the the benefits of the seaside in the comfort and privacy of a modern residence. The Beach House offers: 2 bedrooms; king size single bed in each (linen included) lounge and dining area kitchen equiped with dishwasher laundry with washing machine and dryer? private backyard with large deck electric barbecue(upper level) or gas barbecue (ground level) Sea views (upper level) Entertainment provisions include: Petanque and boules Small boat, fishing gear and water skiing equipment Please note, pets and smoking are not allowed. Children are welcome.

Sites and Activities

Besides on-the-spot swimming, sailing, water skiing and fishing there is a wide range of things to see and do only minutes away.
• 10 minutes from the vineyards, arts and crafts gallery , golf courses, Sandspit and Warkworth where you can explore several shops,cafes, and restaurants. Daily ferries depart from Sandspit to Kowau island where you can visit the Mansion House,historic home of former Governor General Sir George Grey or enjoy scenic nature treks.
• 20 minutes drive to Leigh, Goat Island (Cape Rodney), where you can view the ocean bed's habitat from the glass bottom boat.
