The 5th Year According To Me

Brandy

Chapter Six

Faith walked into her and Willow's room and wasn't all that shocked to see Willow dancing around the room to a song on, belive it or not, a cd that Oz had made for her. Willow was totally into all music but that was cool. Willow had found a way to play CDs since muggle devices, especially electronic ones, were not able to work at the school.

Faith gave a small shrug and started dancing with Willow around the room. Faith and Willow had gotten to be such good friends that they often went out dancing back home. Faith and Willow were so into their dancing that neither of them noticed that they had an audience.

That is until they turned facing the door and there stood Albus Dumbeldore and Minerva McGonagall. Willow and Faith both stopped in mid-step and looked at the two adults in their doorway. They didn't look upset. They looked.....amused. And for McGonagall to look amused, well it was a shock in itself.

Willow and Faith stood there staring at them not sure what to say. Willow shifted from foot to foot. Faith just stood there.

"We...didn't disturb anyone did we?" Willow asked nervously.

"No, you didn't, but that was um....interesting. Where did you learn those dances?" Albus asked as he motioned to the spot where the girls had been dancing.

"We taught ourselves. It's the only thing to do when you have nothing else to do." Faith answered as she and Willow sat on thier beds. They looked to the teachers wondering why they would care.

"Well I think it is intriging. And I think that the students would benefit from it. Have some fun after everything that has happend. What do you say?"

Albus supplied looking at the girls with a twinkle in his eyes. And McGonagall looked like she thought it was a good idea as well.

"Wait, you want us to teach? What DO you want us to teach? Oh is it computers? Cause I am good at computers. Oh no wait no electronics. So what would we teach?" Willow asked confused. She looked to the old wizard for an answer.

"We want you to teach a dance class. So the kids can have a little fun in their lives." McGonagall stated.

"You know what fun is?" Faith asked the witch in confusion.

"Faith!" Willow hissed at her friend.

"Sorry, but come on, she gives off this air of Gilesiness , you know the whole business always comes first, and then she says she wants the kids to have fun. I just wasn't sure she knew what it was."

"So when so we tell the kids?" Willow asked looking at Dumbledore.

"I thought maybe a demonstration might be in order."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat at the Gryffindor table waiting for the meal to arrive. Hermione was trying to explain the rules for a muggle game called 'Clue' to Ron but the boy was not getting it. Charlie and Percy were currently arguing over some article in the Daily Prophet.

At the staff table Willow was talking with her father. He didn't look too happy about something. Willow still hadn't forgave him for the truth potion he had slipped in her drink. Dumbledore was in deep conversation with Professor McGonagall. And on the other side of Professor McGonagall was Giles talking with Ethan Raine. It seemed that Ethan had come to Hogwarts as a hideout from Voldemort. And of course he was having fun stirring up trouble. He had once turned Faith into a bunny. He said she was a lot cuter like that and had refused to turn her back. He only turned Faith back after Willow had threatend to go get Giles and Severus. It seemed he feared his old friends.

And what drew everone's attention were the sounds of music filling the Great Hall. It was a hip hop country beat. And then the lyrics boomed through the room.

<Little Carrie Ann what a beautiful girl
From the moment she was born
She was always perfect
Whole town said, "Why can't you be more like her?">

And to the amusement and shock of the students Faith jumped on the Gryffindor table and started dancing. She had thrown her robe on the ground and was dressed in a pair of blue lather pants and red tank top.

<Lights go on and she's ready to spin
On stage doing all things she's told to
Puts on a show in front of the whole damn world
I pray to the heavens to try and save her soul
Cause that sweet little angel is not the girl I know>

Willow was still standing next to her father and watching Faith dance on the table and she heard her dad say, "I am glad you don't act like that."

And before he knew what had happened Willow had jumped on to the Slytherin table throwing her robe on the floor as well and was doing the same dance as Faith. Willow was dressed in a pair of beige pants that tie in the front and black tank top with stars, clouds, and moons on it.

<She gets wound up
She gets higher by the minute
Turns the sound up
To drown out all the pain
They all think they know her
But noone really knows
That she she gose a little crazy sometimes>

"Dear Merlin what are they doing?" Severus watched in horror as his daughter and her friend danced around shaking their heads to the music.

"It's called dancing Severus." came the reply from a very amused Albus Dumbeldore.

Faith had pulled a very reluctant Percy Wealsey on to the table with her. Snape just hit his hand against his head. His daughter had pulled Justin Malfoy on to the table.

<She parks her car at the top of the hill
Only inches away from the edge
Where she's almost falling
Stares at the sky till she's drowning in the rain
Nice dress, nice smile
What a wounderful child
If they only knew all the lies she's told them
It's too complicatedfor her to explain
She prays to the heavens to save her soul
Cause the sweet littl angel is close to letting go
She gets wound up
She gets higher by the minute
Turns the sound up
To drown out all the pain
They all think they know her
But noone really knows
That she she gose a little crazy sometimes
I pray to the heavens to try and save her soul
Cause the sweet little angel is close to letting go
She gets wound up
She gets higher by the minute
Turns the sound up
To drown out all the pain
They all think they know her
But noone really knows
That she she goes a little crazy sometimes>

Willow and Justin stopped moving as the music died down. Justin was staring at her as if she had told him she was an alien. He didn't know what to think. Willow smiled and jumped off the table, just to be assaulted by Pansy Parkinson.

"You are really bad. You don't have any rhythm."

Willow looked at the girl who had stepped in front of her and a thought came to mind. What a better way of letting the kids in on the fun than.......

"Twenty points from Slytherin." Willow said crossing her arms and glaring at Pansy with a look worthy of her father.

Pansy looked as if Willow had slapped her and told her she was adopted. "You can't do that. Only proffessers can take away points." she replied smuggly.

"Ok, how about this. Miss. Parkinson. Twenty points from Slytherin for insulting a professor." Willow confirmed still glaring at Pansy. There was a collective gasp heard throughout the hall.

"That's right kiddies you are all looking at your new dance professors. Now class is optional you don't have to come but if you do we will hold class out on the pitch after your last class, starting tonight. And if you
choose to come wear normal clothes not your robes. It's kinda hard to move around in those things." Faith supplied walking up to Willow and throwing an arm around the redhead's shoulders.

"Did the Ministry say you could do this?" Percy Weasley asked stilling Faith with a stone hard glare.

"No."

"Then you can't do this, if.."

"Percy?"

"Yes Charlie."

"Do shut up you git."

Willow and Faith stood out in the field of the pitch, waiting for the students. They didn't know if they would have any students but they were hoping.

"Willow, Faith!" a shout came across the yard and a little blonde was sprinting across the field.

"Dawn?" the two girls replied as one before scooping the girl into a hug.

"Yep. Giles talked to that Dumbledore guy and they thought it would be best if I were here. So I'm here to assist you guys and take classes. How cool is that I get to learn magic. And no Buffy to tell me I can't!"

Willow grinned even wider when she saw the group of kids and even some adults walking to the pitch. Coming toward them was what looked like the whole school.

"Ok, wow it looks like all of Hogwarts minuse the Slytherins, oh nope we got some Slytherins, Hello Mrs. Parkinson, Mr. Malfoy. And Mr. Malfoy's goons." Willow smiled sweetly at her father's favorite student. She kinda sympathized with Draco. They both had parents who where Death Eaters. And they didn't want that life.

"Ok, now lets begin, and since we will be pairing you up with a partner."

(I am too lazy to list all the names but the gest is, Potter/Parkinson, Ron/Dawn, (that rymes!) Malfoy/Lavender, Granger/Goyle,Ginny/Crabbe. And since they had to have partners to show the kids how to dance with partners Willow/Charlie, and Faith/Bill.)

Faith watched as the students filed off back into the school. She did notice however that Dawn had taken up with Harry and his friends.

"We may have to watch that group." Willow replied following Faith's path of focus. Dawn was walking back with Ron and Harry. Ron had a protective arm around Dawn's shoulder.

Someone behind Willow whispered the words "Avada Kedavra."

*Help us Goddess if Buffy finds out about this.*

That was the last coherent thought Willow Rosenburg had before darkness overtook her and she was laying out cold on the Qudditch field. And the sounds of Faith screaming for her to wake up was the last thing she
heard.
