 Stage 5 -
Organic Fortress, one of the most impressive stages in Gradius Gaiden.
Unlike the organic-cells stages from the previous games, there are no
growing cells nor cells that regenerates/recovers after shooting them out.
But this time, the walls on top and bottom will move up and down(YUCK!!),
some parts the membranes puches in so much that they even 'almost' close
up...so rush through the gaps while you can. Later on, you'll see some
enemies that looks like dome sort of 'microfilaments'/'microtubules',
what they do is they use their arms to hold on to the sides, then they
pull the membranes together, closing the passage...but relax, just
'Crush all of them!!!'

This sick mother looks like some sorta
muscle-skin-cells(YUCK!!!!!!!!!) Anyhow, the entire membrane can move
according to its EYE's movement. It will stop and shoot
a THICK beam, don't worry about that too much, it'll be
blocked by its very own skin most of the time...but what
you'll need to watch out for are the 2 or 3(depending on your power-ups
and/or if you're on 2nd quest) bouncing balls it shoots
out, it'll leave small cannon pods on the skin! Careful!
