The precious lips that I once kissed
Will smile for me someday,
The voices that I've never heard
Will sing to me someday
The tender hand that I once held
So tight within my own
Will reach for me and let me see
that I am not alone,
the tiny feet I once felt kick
Will dance for me someday
And we will share the lifetime lost
When my angel went away
The steady heartbeats I once heard
I'll listen for again
To help me find my way,
I'll miss you until then.....

"I'll See you In Heaven"

Thank you Mom and Dad,
for the little time we had together.
Now I'm on my way to Heaven,
and without you, it will seem forever.

As I strolled through Heaven's Gates,
I was greeted by a Heavenly Host.
They said, "Follow us, oh little one.
We will show you who loves you most."

"Look through Heaven's portals."
As I gazed through the portal looking down...
there you stood Mom and Dad,
with a bright light all around.

Now I know you are not alone,
I saw Jesus by your side.
He will help you with all your sorrow.
With you, He will always abide.

I asked our Lord, here in heaven,
as He sat me on His knee,
please, when it's time for you both to come,
that your souls will again, be with me.

I know it's hard for you to understand,
that my time there on earth was so very short,
But always keep me in your memories,
As we keep our love alive in each other's heart.

Look toward the heavens,
you will see my star shining bright.
Thank God for all of your blessings,
I'll visit you in your dreams each night.

I love you more than when you gave me birth,
And I thank you for the life to me, you gave.
A crown of pearls is waiting for each of you,
for my soul you gave to Him to save.

Today and For Always, My Dear

Every time I hold your picture,
I cry a million tears.
Oh, I miss you so much each day.
Today & for always, my dear.

I find myself thinking about
the things we once did.
Of the beautiful gifts of you love
you made for me as a kid.

I think about the songs we sang
just to help you fall asleep.
And the memories you & I shared.
Are mine now to cherish & keep.

I treasure the memories of you.
And the beauty in your eyes.
Oh, every moment was precious with you.
But I never learned any good-byes.

I create a page to honor your memory.
And share it with family & friends.
Oh but I try to understand why you left.
And, I just can't seem to comprehend.

I can't understand why you went away.
But it's not for me to question why.
Still, as a Mom, I can't help but ask.
Only another Mom understands the tears I cry.

I hear songs that describe my heartbreak.
It's a pain that won't go away.
And it's horrible to know that other Moms
are feeling this more & more each day.

But, today, as I sit and hold your picture,
tears have stained this face of mine.
I just wonder how long will
it take my broken heart to heal.
Oh, only your love will make it shine.

Yes, every time I hold your picture,
I cry a million tears.
And I miss you each & every day ...
Today & for always, my dear.

I run my fingers across where
your head once rested at night
to sleep.

That was bigger than you

A heart of gold stopped beating,
two shining eyes at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.

God knows you had to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day He took you home.

To some you are forgotten,
to others just part of the past,
but to us who loved and lost you,
the memory will always last.
