JULY 2007


05-Jul-2007: Working a little on the interior, I placed the bulkhead of entry to the bathroom. Also notes the structure of the kitchen table ready.	05-Jul-2007: Here is seen the navigation table is taking shape. I decided make three drawers and a vertical door with two shelves. Prior to glue everything, I gave a hand of epoxy primer, then I will paint with white sintetic. Prior to put everything, I have to put the inlet and oulet of water tank's starboard side.	05-Jul-2007: Another view of the navigation table.


05-Jul-2007: With the navigation table lid in position, I cut the front of the future electric panel, which will be placed with a hinge to work more easily. In the right sector will be the VHF and the CD player.	05-Jul-2007: For an idea of how will be the mobile lid with the front panel electric.	07-Jul-2007: A little more advanced with the mobile covers already placed.


09-Jul-2007: Historic day in the city!!. After 89 years snowed in City Bell.	09-Jul-2007: We had the privilege of been saling in the river with our instructor Juan Martin when the phenomenon occurred. That fantastic experience!!! Snow in the Rio de la Plata!!...	12-Jul-2007: Returning to the work, I begin to make the starboard side water tank, glassing with two layers of cloth 300 gr/m2 and epoxi resin. The white patches are putty that remains below.


12-Jul-2007: Here is observed (upper left) the water inlet and (below right) the water oulet toward the system.	12-Jul-2007: This picture show (down left) the connection with the other tank and (above right medium blocked with the putty) the oulet of tank venting tank.	12-Jul-2007: Cover of water tank with transparent inspection lid placed.


12-Jul-2007: Lower view with the glassing ready. Lack sanding the entire tank, make fillets and paint with epoxi resin. The cover of tank will be glue (with Sikaflex) and screwed.	18-Jul-2007: For a suggestion received (thanks Hector!) put two breakwaters made with plywood of 10 mm impregnated with epoxy (4 hands).	18-Jul-2007: Still the epoxy go drying, I prepare the front of central cabinets of starboard side.


18-Jul-2007: Also take this opportunity to make the front cupboard that goes above the kitchen, where will be the future place of store dishes, which I had to enlarge a little to place larger dishes.	18-Jul-2007: Finally seated, glue with silicone and screwed the lid of water tank from starboard side. Also notes the lid contiguous towards foreship that serves for deposit and passage of hoses.	18-Jul-2007: Here is placed the mast foot made in "anchico" 10 x 10 cm. In the top I did a gutter the exact width exact. The contact look perfect.


18-Jul-2007: The tiny upper compartment I will use as sounding board for speakers. I'll put a couple of hinges to access to the chainplates bolts.	22-Jul-2007: A while ago I was working on the keel model. The project establishes built it in plywood, but I thinking it's very much easier and cheaper do it in high density styrofoam.	22-Jul-2007: Little by little is taking shape. Later I will sanding and putting to leave it more perfect as possible.


22-Jul-2007: Another view. The next time I will complete the bulb, marking the position of the screws and send the model to the forge.	24-Jul-2007: Because I must to leave the work until the next time, I begin to cut every estructure that still lack to release a bit of space inside of my house. Here is the top of kitchen table where will place two sinks and conservative lid.	24-Jul-2007: In this photo notes the covers of portside tank, the compartment deposit, and the front of cupboard with the openings already marked to be cut off.


24-Jul-2007: Here is observed the roof panels made in plywood 15 mm. Still needed the support structure and make a finishing.	24-Jul-2007: General view of the cabin with floor panels, tanks and compartments closed (only starboard side are already finisheds).	24-Jul-2007: Finally, one thing that adding extra pleasure to the construction: "there are music in the Sirius".
