08-Jun-2007: I had not been happened to begin to manufacture the Sirius ironworks. In offshore rigs there is always stainless steel 316 of different thickness. After getting "scared" with de budget received to manufacture them, I decided to make them myself while I am offshore, taking advantage of "free materials" and mechanical shop tools. Here can be observed a sequence for aft estay support.

08-Jun-2007: I must to cut the differnt oieces with manual saw due the rig jigsaw have not appropiates blades tu cut iron. Was a very hard work!!!. In this picture can be observed the construction sequence of shroud support.

08-Jun-2007: Then with an industrial drill, to makes the holes for screws was very easy.Here the sequence of counter-foils of shroud supports. Then, with a file, I go giving the final details. When I come back to my home, I will polish everything to leave them "beautiful"!!. Thanks to SS54 for the cooperation!! (OK Sam?).
29-Jun-2007: Re-starting the construction. With too much cold I begin to make the gas compartment. In this picture can be observed the cover with the fillets ready.

29-Jun-2007: Glue the lower section. Lack placed a moulding around the opening to prevent water entry inside of compartment.

29-Jun-2007: Cover already placed with their respective hinges of stainless steel.
29-Jun-2007: Preparing to fiberglassing with two layers of cloth 300 gr/m2.
