*Mac Owners: OSX/Jaguar is here with updates; my son has it and loves it - Carbon-based and built on Unix so it's very stable. OS9.2 is also here. There is also an update to OS9.0.4 available at the Apple site. If you have OS8.5, be sure to get the update to 8.6 at the Apple site. (And while you're there, check out the G5s, G4s, the Cube, Aqua, the new iBooks, and OSX/Jaguar. AND the *neat* flat-screen iMacs!!)
*Mac owners: Also check out the neat, unbelievable Kaleidoscope interface control panel to change your entire desktop look in seconds; useable even under OSX in Classic. Shareware; $25. This, folks, is the best program to come out for the Mac in many a moon. Too bad Apple is so unsupportive of third party software! Because of Apple's use of Carbon for a base in OSX, Kaleidscope would have to be completely rewritten/rebuilt. Greg Landweber, math professor at Harvard and primary developer of Kaleidoscope says he does not have time to do a rebuild of OSX/Jaguar, but the latest K2 version can be be used in Classic mode in OSX. The final version of Kaleidoscope is available HERE for downloading. This version is compatible with System OS9+ and is backwards compatible with older schemes, from K1.5 up, and with System 7.0 up all the way through Classic mode in OSX!
Speaking of Kaleidoscope color schemes, check out my 150+ schemes for K2 (shareware), much of it downloadable. I now have my software - desktop/background textures, cursors, icons, AND/OR schemes, available exclusively on CD for ordering!!(Complete scheme/cursor/icon/backgrounds STYLES software CD available!!)
