Many people feel that the name Jehovah is not God's name. Yet, this common pronunication of the tetragram has been in use since the 1500's as Jehovah. With all the turmoil and violence, it gets harder and harder to find places of refuge. Some people cannot even find security in their own homes. This is but one (of many) reason for my being joyful for the peace and security that I find among my fellow brothers and sisters.

No matter where in the world I might travel, I know that I will find loving brothers and sisters to help and care for me. No matter my skin color or ethnic origin, I know they will welcome me with open arms! That is a feeling of closeness and love that is impossible to find anywhere else in the world! My life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses has been one of love and happiness. I have seen and heard of countless acts of love and self-sacrifice, from all over the world. I wouldn't trade my beliefs and fellow Christians for any amount of money or fame. Neither of those can give you true peace and security. Being one of Jehovah's people has given me that!

Of course, I face the same troubles and problems that you face. Bills, disease, pain and fear. But I can go to any Kingdom Hall anywhere in the world and find true peace and happiness. You just can't buy that, it isn't for sale. But it is easy to find and it's free! If your seeking such a place of true peace and happiness, please contact me.

Have you ever read the Watchtower or Awake magazines?

Everyone has heard of the shameless slaughter of millions of Jews during Germany's reign of terror. Few have heard of a smaller group of people who also suffered dearly. While it is true that million of Jews died, the fact is they had no choice. They could not change their ethnic heritage. Sadly this cost millions their lives, a true tragedy!

This small group I am speaking of however, did have a choice. All any member of this group had to do was renounce their beliefs and they would be released from the concentration camps and prisons. The people of this group had a way out, a way to avoid the senseless killing and torture.

But the fact is, that very few did that. Several thousand faced death rather than compromise their faith. In that respect, what happened to Jehovah's Witnesses who were in German hands stands out from what the Jews faced and suffered. Don't get me wrong, I'am very sure that millions of Jews would not have compromised either, if given the choice. But they were not given that choice, but the Witnesses did have a choice.
