The 'Trimus Campaign' has been running for sometime (nearly a decade) now but it is not the only one I DM or play in. All the others, Bronsdale, Trebourne, and of course The Western Realms PBeM are run under 3e rules. The latter converted about a year ago from 2nd edition while the others were 3e from the start. This has meant that playing under OD&D rules has become slower and less intuative than before.
I still prefer the OD&D ruleset in some ways, it is simpler to write adventures for example, but in some ways I found it less satisfying. So after much deliberation we have decided to convert the Trimus Campaign to 3e rules. We wanted to remain in Mystara (the Bronsdale campaign is also set in Mystara) as we like the Known World as a setting and we have invested a lot of time in the characters. However as some things do not convert easily there may be a bit of a relaity shift between the previous chapter and the next. Please stick with me as things bed down.
