CHARACTER BACKGROUNDS AND RELATIONSHIPS
MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL
- Nathan Hale Bridger, Admiral
- Bridger is the former captain of SeaQuest as well as it's designer. Now a landbound Admiral, he is in direct command of SeaQuest, giving her all her mission briefs and receiving all her reports. He is VERY close to Westphalen and calls many of the SeaQuest crew "friend".
- Matthew Brody, Lt.
- Matt is Lt. Brody's gay cousin, who just happens to think that cousin Jim has some incredibly good-looking crewmates, especially one Rive Mericier-Valois. He is incharge of checking SeaQuest's systems and arranging for any repairs, restocking, and such, that she might require while in port.
- Darwin, Ensign
- Well, he's a dolphin!! What more needs to be said? He came onboard SeaQuest with Captain Bridger, he can talk due to the vocal synthesizer created by Lucas, he has the run of the ship due to a maze of water-filled tunnels running through the whole ship, and connecting to his pool, and everyone on the crew loves him.
- Lonnie Henderson, Ensign
- She takes her job very seriously and is a stickler for following the proper protocols.
- Dagwood
- Dagwood is fairly close to those on SeaQuest with whom he is familiar, meaning the crew from it's second tour, especially Lucas, Ford and Ortiz. However, most of the crew find him to be a rather lovable character and get along well with him.
- Connahan
- This wise old lady acts as a confidante for most of the crew (very much like a bartender). She had to give her child away when she was very young because she couldn't afford to raise one. She never stopped feeling the guilt and loss of what she did and is now onboard SeaQuest to watch over her daughter, Mag (who doesn't know who her real mother is), using a docu-fiction book about SeaQuest as her excuse for being there. After 1 meal in the mess hall she dicided that she should take over cooking duties....She doesn't want her research subjects to drop like flies from food poisoning or anything after all and this is the best way to meet the whole crew since everyone has to eat at some time or other.
