The Mirumoto Bushi School
Welcome to the Mirumoto Bushi
School. This is where I talk about strategy, and it's relation to the Legend
of the Five Rings Collectible Card Game. Hopefully, this page will help
you develope your skill as an L5R player. If you have any comments, questions,
or suggestions for this page, let me know. Also, if you would like me to
post a submission, send it to me along with a discription of what it is
and why you think it should be posted. I will show it to our revered sensei,
and he will decide as to whether the value of the content is worthy is
worthy of teaching in School.

DECK DESIGN
- I have taken the time to post my tournament Dragon Deck of yesteryear.
This was good enough to beat Ben Peck a year ago (sorry Ben, but thanks
for the groovy autographs). It is not the exact deck deck that one the
tournament where I faced Ben, but it is close (and I hope better). I invite
any Dragon Clan players, that wish, to take a look. Perhaps it will give
you ideas on your own deck designs, or perhaps you may wish to copy it
outright (flattery to the extreme). In anycase, here is my Dragon
Deck.
- I have started to develope a new Dragon Deck. This is one that
I haven't ever seen before. It is based around the Dragon's shugenja. I
have posted it here under its first incarnation so that Dragon Clan players
may benefit from the strategy ideas contained herein. This is my Dragon
Shugenja Deck.
- One must know thy enemy in order to prevail against him. Learning
how to play every clan will enable you to play your clan more effectively.
Besides all that, it's just plain fun to play different strategies. It
hasn't been played or modified since Forbidden Knowledge came out, so it
doesn't feature any cards or strategies past Shadowlands. But it is still
a terror, that will give your opponent nightmares. And it is quite fun
to play. This is my Old
School Crab Oni Deck.
