You ever wondered how many times Mulder and Scully's lives have been placed in jeopardy by the "monster of the week" or the latest conspiracy? Here's the current standing:
Number of times Scully has been in jeopardy alone: 16
They are: An attack by Eugene Tooms in "Squeeze," a breath of fresh air in "Ghost in the Machine" and kidnapping by her "friend" Jack Willis in "Lazarus." A not-so-random shooting in "Young at Heart," an encounter with a werewolf in "Shapes," an abduction by persons unknown starting in the episode "Duane Barry." Sat on the brink of death in "One Breath," almost infected with deadly spores in "Firewalker," was abducted again, by Donnie Pfaster in "Irresistible." A voodoo curse tried to stretch its hands all the way around her neck in "Fresh Bones," and she came face=to-face with a shape-shifter and was abducted again in "End Game." Was tossed around like a rag doll in "The Calusari," and was almost infected with a disease in "F. Emasculata." Then there was the time she was abducted by the cannibalist group in "Our Town," came face-to-face with a fat-sucker in "2Shy," and was brain-washed into thinking that Mulder was against her in "Wetwired."
Number of times Scully has been abducted: 5
Number of times Mulder has been in jeopardy alone: 15
They are: Mind-wiping by the government in "Deep Throat," an attack from a beast woman in "Jersey Devil," and near-infection with an alien parasite in "Ice." He confronted his fear of fire in "Fire," was shot in "Beyond the Sea," and was stuck under an escalator with the stretchy-mutant "Tooms." He was then kidnapped by the Crew Cut Man in "The Erlenmeyer Flask," was stuck in a bathroom with the taps on in "Excelsis Dei," and then fought a shape-shifter in "End Game." Was nearly blown to pieces in the buried box-car in "Anasazi" and was almost killed by the Puppet in "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose." Back to the box-car--he was almost blowon up again in "731," and ka-boomed in "War of the Coprophages." He then became possessed in "Grotesque" and was stuck with rat-boy-turned-alien Krycek in "Apocrypha."
Number of times Mulder has wound up in the hospital: 5
Number of times Mulder and Scully have been in jeopardy together: 7
Trapped with prehistoric bugs in "Darkness Falls," kidnapped by Satanists in "Die Hand Die Verletzt," and aged drastically in "Dod Kalm." They then turned renegade against the government in "Paper Clip," were both almost shot in "Pusher" with a deadly game of Russian roulette, and were stuck with a hoard of killer cats in "Teso Dos Bichos." And finally, they were trapped on a rock in "Quagmire."

If you ever find yourself being investigated by Mulder and Scully, you shold never consider going into the bathroom. Why? Because something bad happens, every time...
| Squeeze | Scully is attacked by Tooms, in the very first bathroom incident. |
| Shadows | Lauren Kyte has a vision of Robert Graves's "suicide" when she goes into the bathroom. |
| Ghost in the Machine | The company chairman is eletrocuted when he answers the phone...in the bathroom (didn't figure that one out myself). |
| Eve | Nothing actually happens in the bathroom, but while Mulder and Scully are in there, one of the young Eves puts digitalis in the drinks Mulder and Scully ordered. |
| Shapes | While inside, Lyle turns into a werewolf. |
| The Host | A victim of the mutant fluke-worm coughs up a fluke-worm while taking a shower. |
| Excelsis Dei | Mulder and a nurse are locked in a bathroom which is rapidly being filled with water. |
| Die Hand Die Verletzt | The PTA-from-Hell plan to have Mulder and Scully killed in the school shower. |
| Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose | Det. Havez is killed while leaving the bathroom (and body found in there). |
| 2Shy | Scully meets 2Shy on not-so-civil terms when she runs to the bathroom to find supplies and save Ellen. |
| 731 | Mulder discovers Ishimaru dead. Yes, he was killed in the toilet--garrotted by the Red-Haried Man (who actually doesn't have red hair). |
| Revelations | Kevin is abducted from the bathroom, after Scully has drawn his bath, and left him alone. |
| War of the Coprophages | One of the doctors at the hospital dies from a burst aneurysm when in the bathroom. |
| Syzygy | After meeting Margi and Terri in the bathroom, a fellow Cheerleader is killed. |
| Piper Maru | Krycek becomes possessed by the "oilien." |
| Avatar | Scully comes into contact with some more not-so-friendly Men in Black. |
