(This is the personal log for Bryan Stone, leader of Cyberspace Task Force GammaRanger. Entry for April 2, 1998:
As the Rangers were getting defeated to Namrock's Beta Blade monster, the teenagers are introduced by Lt. Katsuhiro Koike to a new weapon: The MD Station. Unfortunately, they received a stowaway in the form of local newscaster Annie Stewart. Trapped in Station mode, the Rangers were helpless before another BetaMon, known as Beta Robo, until Bryan and Scottie were able to find the code that activated the giant warrior MegaDriver. MegaDriver defeated the combined form of Beta RoBlade and Annie was returned to Earth with no memory of what happened.)
(Early in the morning, the Rangers, two of them being half asleep, meet at school for breakfast. There is something amiss, though.)
Scottie: Did anyone see Bryan this morning?
Amy: Why do you ask?
Scottie: Well, when I went to bring him breakfast, he wasn't there.
Laura: Wasn't where?
Scottie: In my basement. My dad would break his leg up my butt if he found him living in our house.
Eric: Hmm... Strange. What would he want out in the open? He thinks all of our inventions are primitive.
Scottie: Well maybe you can explain that my car is missing.
Amy: So how did you get to school?
Eric: He called me up at 7:30 in the freaking morning and asked me for a ride. By the way, Scottie, my mom hates you now.
Scottie: I'll try to explain it to her one of these days.
(On the interstate out of town, Bryan activates his laptop on top of Scottie's jeep to access the MD Station from Cyberspace. The massive ship appears about the golden field. On Bryan's command, he is launched aboard the ship. When he lands, he begins to survey the Station. His quest leads him to a corridor, and what seems to be a dead end.)
Bryan: Upload Automap. (His automap appears in his Cyber Loader.) (To himself) According to this, there should be a gateway here, but...
(Meanwhile outside, something looming in the darkness approaches Scottie's car and Bryan's laptop. He shuts it off. On board the Station, the Automap shuts off and so does the main power.)
What happened? (To himself) This can't be... I'm.... in Cyberspace?! (On the ground)
Mysterious Voice: heh heh heh...
(Onboard Satellte Namrock, the evil band of viruses watch their plan unfold.)
Chouzo: I tell you, Rhexus. That new Betamon you created is something else.
Rhexus: I'd like to think so. Beta Morphic can transmutate into anyone or anything.
Galevan: But what of Beta Morphic now?
Rhexus: Were you formatted deaf or is that a learned trait? I sent him on... a mission.
Chouzo: What kind of mission?
Namrock: (from the shadows) A mousetrapping mission. (continues looming) And it looks like we caught something. (Brings up screen) Namely one Bryan Stone.
Bryan: (On screen) There's got to be a way out of here.
Namrock: Now for phase two. Beta Morphic, are you ready?
Beta Morph: (on screen) As always, my lord.
(A few hours later, the Rangers are having lunch outside of school, when suddenly...)
Bryan: Why didn't you guys wait up for me?
(An assortment of 'Hey Bryan's and 'What happened's' are posed by the group. Bryan eases back.)
Whoa whoa whoa! Hold it for a second. What's with the game of twenty questions here?
Scottie: Well after you didn't show up at breakfast, we got a little worried. I sent you an E-mail via the Cyber Loaders...
Bryan: (Stunned) You sent me an E-mail?!.. (calmer) You sent me... an E-mail... Well the important thing is that I'm here, right?
Eric: Well, I guess so. (Chomps a hamburger while looking at the time. Then finished burger with a hard gulp.) C'mon guys, we only have five minutes to get to class.
Laura: Really? We gotta move, Bryan... You wanna ride with us?
Bryan: Why not...
(The five head out to the parking lot, unaware that they are being watched.)
Galevan: (through a DWC™) Phase two is set, Chouzo. Now dispatch the Balzac!
Chouzo: At once, Galevan.
(From out of the sky, a beam shoots the parking lot. And from out of the parking lot, comes six puddles of a gel-like ooze. They quickly form the Balzac.)
Amy: Just perfect. Now we're gonna be late!
Scottie: Don't say that just yet. (Acts like he's calling for his Cyber Loader) Ranger fi...
Bryan: Wait! (stops Scottie)
Scottie: (Getting ethnic) Hey man, wussup wit'you?!
Bryan: I'm sorry, Scottie... but I really think we should take care of things before we use our powers.
Amy: Hmmm... He does have a point.
Laura: Yeah, now let's take that point and roll with it, or we're going to be late!
(The team fought the Balzac as if they were GammaRangers.)
Eric: Why would they just attack at random like this? (trips a Balzac)
Laura: I don't know! (does a one-two combo on that same Balzac)
(The battle continues like that for four minutes. Then Eric gets an idea.)
Eric: I got an idea... Everybody in the car!
(The team gets into Eric's car as he prepares to open the doors.) Amy: Hope you know what you're doing!
Eric: Trust me...
(He proceeds to floor the gas pedal and ram the group of Balzac until they fall like bowling pins. Then they all get out to assess the damage.) Laura: Oh man! We're...
Amy, Eric, and Scottie: We know... (in a repetitive tone) "We're going to be late..."
Bryan: No we're not. Just get in the car.
(The teens pile into Eric's car.)
Drive, Eric.
(Eric drives as usual, but this time, the car seems to be going at the speed of sound. They enter class before the bell rings.)
Scottie: You were saying, Laura?
Laura: Quiet you. (smirks)
(The teens take their seats as they are about to begin a test. Midway into the test, Scottie's Cyber Loader goes off. He pulls it out of his bag and reads the message left in his mailbox. It reads:

Scottie: If Bryan's at the Station...
(After class, the gang met on the outside courtyard of Tradewinds High.)
Amy: Is it me, or did someone's Cyber Loader go off during our test?
Scottie: It wasn't you. I got a message from Bryan. He's on the Station, he says.
Laura: So Bryan's on the Station? How can that be? We were just with him a couple of hours ago.
Scottie: I got the message like fifteen minutes after he took off in YOUR car, Eric.
Eric: Oh, man! That's right! He still has my car!
Amy: And didn't you notice that he was acting just a little too weird with it?
Eric: I bet you guys that that's why he told us not to transform.
Laura: Because he couldn't transform himself? It's always a possibility.
Scottie: Well we better be prepared for anything.
Bryan: (driving up with Eric's car) Hey guys. Eric, I'm sorry I forgot about your car.
Eric: No problem, Bry... Hey listen, I wanna thank you for what you did today (slaps Bryan on the back, activating a hidden switch) You're a pal...
Bryan: (looking sick) Umm, no problem... If it's okay with you guys, I gotta go. (rushes to a bathroom, where he looks into a mirror and sees Beta Morph's face.)
(At Satellite Namrock)
Namrock: Curses! Rhexus, you never told me that Betamon had a weakness!
Rhexus: I, uh, never knew myself?
Galevan: Well, he's YOUR creature!
Namrock: That's right. Now... GET DOWN THERE AND HELP HIM!
Rhexus: Y-y-yes, Lord.
(Meanwhile, On the SkyStation, Bryan stumbles into an invisible door. The door leads to a hidden corridor, which is fully lit.. And...)
Bryan: The five GammaWeapons!
(He gathers the five weapons and heads out the same way he came in.)
I hope that Scottie got my message.
(On Earth, Scottie head to the same bathroom where Beta Morph and Rhexus are located.)
Scottie: Hey Bryan, you forgot your... Rhexus?! (activates the ComLink on his Cyber Loader and talks into it) Guys, activate the SkyStation!
Eric (over ComLink): Gotcha! (does what he says)
Rhexus: No one's going anywhere...
Scottie: Neptune file... down... (gets punched in the gut and drops his FileCoin)
Beta Morph: Not so fast, hotshot.
(Outside)
Amy: It's working! (watches the Station fly out of nowhere, where Bryan's in the cockpit)
Bryan: Alright!!! Rangers! Prepare to upload!
Eric, Amy, and Laura: Ranger file, download!
(They transform in a ray of light.)
(After seeing this ray, Scottie grabs his FileCoin, kicks Beta Morph in the appropriate area, and, lying on the floor, transforms.)
Scottie: Neptune Ranger file, Download!
Beta Morphic: No!
Guys, That Bryan we were hanging out with is a Betamon!
AquaMercury: So where is the real Bryan?
YellowVenus: Over there! (points to a red blur in the sky as RedJupiter lands.)
RedJupiter: Take these! They're your new GammaWeapons.
Beta Morph: I don't think so, pal. Let's see how your new toys work!
(He rushes the Rangers. RedJupiter goes after him with his JupiterSaber. YellowVenus strikes him with her VenusPulse. AquaMercury aims her MercuryBow, but misses. GreenMars destroys his Morphing Device with his MarsBreaker. BlueNeptune launches his NeptuneLance at Beta Morphic's bead.)
Is THAT the best that you can do?
BlueNeptune: Hey I just got an idea. First we form BlastDagger level 3...
YellowVenus: Then add the GammaWeapon to the top, and...
RedJupiter: Amazing! Blast Defenders! Okay, on my signal...
(Rangers take aim at Beta Morphic.)
NOW!
(They all fire, ultimately decimating the Betamon. Then the Rangers take aim at Rhexus.)
You're next, Rhexus!
Rhexus: Uh... No? (teleports out)
(A few hours later, Bryan explained to the group his sudden departure.)
Bryan: ... So while I was trying to automap the Station, Beta Morphic turned off my laptop and I was sent back into Cyberspace along with the Station.
Amy: Talk about harsh..
Scottie: So did you finish?
Bryan: No. I'm going up there tomorrow.
Scottie: Well next time, take someone else's car. (They all laugh as Rhexus watches from the distance.)
Rhexus: Let's see where those new weapons get you, GammaRanger...
