Rob Edge
The leader of Sonic Five. He was created originally to be a lab assistant to Dr. Watson Oppenheimer in his experiments with cybernetic technology. His CPU was created with the prototype of the PAI chip that Dr. Oppenheimer created. Being closed of from civilization in the three years of his existence, Rob has no understanding of human emotion and relationships. He learns about the world basically from books and from what Dr. Oppenheimer tells him.

Besides being "foster brothers," he and Rob are "companionated units."

The comedian. As with all heroic foils of his type, Neil will most likely have something in his mouth, even though he cannot technically taste. He is a fun-loving individual who will take on any challenge. Most of the group's wisecracks, sarcastic remarks, and unusual quotes will come from him.

The brain. Young in simulated age, and weak relative to her teammates, Sydney is also the strongest in heart and conscience. The only "female" Biodroid in existence, She is still learning about relationships with humans. To this end, Dr. Oppenheimer enrolled her into Long Island High School, claiming her as his only daughter.

The Sonic Five's original creator, mentor, and father. When he originally pitched the idea of "living robots" in 1996, everyone in the cybernetics field laughed at him, saying that such a thing was infeasible. Two years later, nevertheless, Rob, his first "Biodroid", was created and experiments soon afterwards. He finds hidden joys in being the father of five for the first time.
A young woman without a past whose future is endangered, as well. A Human/Galtean hybrid, she faces hatred and persecution from gangs and other people who have bitter memories of the war. Rob is her first true friend. Being half-alien, she has amazing powers yet to be realized; being half-human, she also has a deep heart and a concerned air about her. All that she can remember is that her parents abandoned her.
Lab assisting computer. Echo is an acronym for "Electronic Computer Helping Operative." Echo is programmed with a pentium workstation to make it self-thinking and reliable for assistance. The computer acts as a lab assistant and a watchdog for unauthorized Galtean activity.
A svengali soldier of fortune, he began life five years ago as "Robert Edge," the prototype "big brother" of Robin Edge/SonicRed. He now serves to exterminate the Galtean menace on his own terms, rather than the terms set by the Sonic Five. He possesses a Vyzer Charger, which controls his metamorphosis between Robert and Vyzerman. He also has a VyzerBlaster and a VyzerSaber for battle.
