After the trip I took to Ottawa, I'm not sure anything will be the same here. When Pixel took me home and got arrested, it was up to Father to break Carter out of his moral isostack programming to help me. I also realized that Pixel had some strange power to link her mind with the Galteans. It's advantageous for us that she will not use her powers for evil. And speaking of which, I'm going to be tardy for our date if I don't hurry.
Ending Transmission.
(The barracks. Rob gets off the lift, in dress shirt and holding a small bouquet of flowers. He heads to one of the doors and rings the buzzer.)
Rob: Hello?
(The doors open and reveal Pixel in a towel, with wet hair and all.)
Pixel: Rob?
Rob: Am I inconvieniencing you?
Pixel: No no, come on in.
(Rob enters and places the flowers in a glass.) Rob: Are your new quarters acceptable?
Pixel: They're great! Much better than my old apartment. How can I thank you guys?
Rob: Thanks are not required; you deserve this.
Pixel: But I want to thank you. I really do.
(Pixel drops the towel.)
Rob: Something just happened to me.
Pixel: Just kiss me.
(The two embrace sloppily, then we fade to black)

Sydney: Hi Guy... how are you?
Guy: Fine. Look, a couple of the guys are getting together after school. Do you want to join us?
Sydney: Sure.. I guess.
Guy: Great. I'll see you after 9th period.
(Sydney leaves for her class as another person in a leather jacket comes up.)
Teen: Is she willing?
Guy: I don't know. But I'll find out. Having an android in our troupe may be a good thing.
(A few hours later, the crew is in the concourse area, obviously wondering where Sydney is.)
Neil: Okay... 5:30... School lets out at when?
Carter: 3:00.
Neil: I knew that. I'm just wondering where Sydney could be.
Pixel: You think she's still at school?
Dr. O: Already tried. No one's there.
Rob: What about her automated tracking device? Thanks to her Sonic Charger, we can know where she is.
Pixel: True, but wouldn't that be an invasion of her privacy?
Neil: Pix, Syd was due at 3:30. It is 5:30. Call me crazy, but I don't think we would be worked up if we knew where she was.
(Sydney comes through the door, obviously happy.)
Sydney: Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. I would have called, but I can't use my V-Pager in front of bios.
Rob: And since when did that stop you?
Sydney: What are you talking about?
Rob: Nothing. I was just worried about your whereabouts.
Sydney: If you must know, I was at Vito's Pizzeria.
Kevin: Well, there you go. She wasn't in danger. You WEREN'T in danger, were you?
Sydney (cynically): No, Kevin, I wasn't in danger. It was just a couple of guys. And just so you'd know, I'm meeting them again tomorrow, if that's okay with a few people.
Dr. O: Well, i did say that you were a fully sentient being capable of taking care of yourself.
Sydney: Then it's settled. Now if you'll excuse me, I have homework to do.
(Sydney takes the lift to her quarters.)
Kevin: She was ecstatic about something.
Rob: It was probably a biochemical response to the appeal of a human at her school.
Kevin: Where did you learn about biochemical responses like that? (stares at Pixel)
Pixel: What?

Synchron: What have you to report, Photox?
Photox: One of the teenagers at Samuel Hillard High School is too smart and too advanced to be a human. Our guess is that she is one of the Sonic Five. Just in case, I have invited her to see me after school tomorrow.
Synchron: Good. Continue the plan.
Photox: Acknowledged. Photox out.
(Arachness and Zenos walk in.)
Arachness: Are you sure you can lure the Sonic Five at night?
Synchron: Photox has to. Because of his structure, that is the only time that he can attack without being detected.
Zenos: Remember, for this plan to go off without a hitch, the Sonic Five must not be made aware of Photox's human form. Which means that tomorrow, we'll have to keep a close eye on SonicWhite.

Rob: I don't understand, father. Why me?
Dr. O: Becuase you are the oldest and most-experienced in Galtean tracking.
Rob: and if Sydney's escort turns up negative?
Dr. O: Then we'll leave her alone. Besides, it is a way for her to develop her human emotions.
Rob: Speaking of human emotion, I have to talk to you about...
Dr. O: Pixel? Yes, I know. She's taken quite a liking to you.
Rob: It's not that. It's everything I told you would happen. Because of her, I'm beginning to overlook the fact that I am merely microchips and machinery.
Dr. O: That's nothing to worry about. You're just growing up. A little faster than I have expected, but you're growing up.
Rob: Interesting. (checks the clock on the wall) I have to go now. Everyone else should be coming out of hyperbolic recharging. I need to catch up.

Kevin: That felt good. A little more off than usual.
Sydney (checking her watch): Oh man, I promised I'd meet Guy ten minutes ago. I gotta go. (heads out.)
Rob: I'm gonna follow her.

Sydney: I'm so sorry. I was caught up in something.
Guy: It's alright.
Sydney: Hey man, you look a little weird.
Guy: Really? (he begins to morph) That's because I feel a NEED FOR THE DARKNESS. (He is now fully Photox.)
Sydney: Oh man. Sonic- Pentium--
Photox: Not so fast, little girlie!
(Photox knocks the Pentium card from her and it lands in a pile of trash. Sydney starts looking through, trying to find it, but Photox kicks her face-down into the garbage.)
Sydney: Yuck!
Voice: kii-hyaa! SoniKick!
(SonicRed leaps into the air in a kicking position and knocks Photox back.)
Sydney: Rob! You followed me!
SonicRed: I'm glad I did! Now it's time to get this guy!
Photox: Try and catch me!
(Photox disappears into the shadows of the night.)
SonicRed: Where'd he go?
(Photox sneaks up from behind him.)
Photox: Right here!
(Photox knocks SonicRed into an alleyway where the battle continues.)
SonicRed: Sydney... Keep looking for your cartridge.
Sydney (from the inside of the trash can): Not like I have a choice!
(Photox continues to smash Rob into various objects until Rob pulls out his Tomahatch and chops a gutter piece. The gutter piece falls on top of Photox and he is knocked through a window to a lighted 24-hour gas station. Suddenly, he canges back into Guy.)
Store owner (pointing a rifle at Guy): OK. You better have a damn good reason for breaking into my shop like that.
Guy: I, umm... I...
SonicRed: Over there! (goes through the window and looks for Photox) Where...
Guy (thinking): Maybe I can use this predicament to my advantage! (talking) It was him! He knocked me into the store!
SonicRed: Knock you into the store? I don't even know who you are.
Guy: He doesn't even know who I am! That makes it even worse!
(The store owner puts down his gun and calls for the police. Within seconds, they come to the store. Meanwhile, Sydney, who just found her cartridge, proceeds into the alley where Photox and SonicRed were fighting, but stops just short of the entrance.)
Officer: All right. What seems to be the problem?
SonicRed: There's a Galtoid running loose on the streets and I was just trying to find him...
Guy: Don't listen to him! He nearly took my head off!
Officer: And you, sir?
Store owner: Well... I've always trusted the Sonic Five... but these guys look like they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Officer#2: Kind of confusin', ain't it?
Officer: All right. You two got to come with me, just until we get this thing cleared out. There are two of you, right?
(Rob is torn between bailing and his moral programming. Not knowing what to do, he does just what he's programmed to do.)
SonicRed: There are two. But one isn't here.
Officer#2: Then you're the only one we have to take down to the station.
(The two officers remove SonicRed's helmet and put him into the squad car. Guy, now back in his Photox form, looks and laughs at himself for a deviously planned escape. Meanwhile, Sydney, having just overheard what Guy did, hurries back to O Techlabs.)
Dr. O (on the vidphone): Yes, he's my... foster son.
Chief Maxwell: Well, you better come down here and explain this whole mess, because your other witness just bailed on us at the last second.
Dr. O: I'll be down as soon as I can.
Chief Maxwell: All right. Thank you, Dr. Oppenheimer. (hangs up as Sydney rushes through the front door.)
Sydney: Doc, you have to come with me.
Dr. O: Is it about Rob?
Sydney: Yes!
Dr. O: I know all about it. Let's go.

Chief Maxwell: Are you Watson Oppenheimer?
Dr. O: Yes.
Chief: Then who, might I ask, is this?
Dr. O: This is my... niece, Sydney.
Chief: This was supposed to be between you, me, and 1417692 over there (points to Rob's cell).
Sydney: Wait. I was there when the store was broken into. I can tell you what happened.
Chief: Oh, really...
(The chief escorts Dr. O and Sydney to cell block 4, where Rob is being housed for the night.)
OK, Edge. Maybe you can't answer a few questions, but I brought someone who could.
Rob: Sydney! That's right! Sydney was with me there.
Chief: All right. So, Sydney, what can you tell us about this person?
Sydney: Well, we were meeting for a date. I know 10:00 is kind of late, especially in this city...
Chief: Are you kidding me? It's a moral sin to be asleep in New York past 10.
Sydney: Umm, yeah. Anyway, Guy told me to meet him at the alleyway near Times Square. I did. Then, when I met him, he revealed himself to be a monster. My cousin came in to rescue me, but I was knocked out by the monster. SonicRed did all the fighting. And the rest is history.
Chief: Well, whatever happened to this date of yours?
Sydney: He must have run off.
Chief: He's a bit of a wiener, huh? Sorry. But if that's so, how can we prove this?
Sydney: I suppose that's a good question... maybe we can try to find his records.
Chief: I'll put my two best men on it.
(A seperate room. Two policemen are watching a small color television. On which, shows Jay Leno with an oversized head.)
Jay Leno/Mr. Brain: Frank? He's an idiot, what does he want?
Cops: Ha ha ha, this is classic.
(The Chief enters.)
Chief: OK people, we need you to run a scan check on this Guy Jones guy.
Cop #1: We already did. NO records.
Chief: Looks like you were right, Miss Bishop.
Rob: Hey, let me out of here and I'll get that guy.
Chief: This goes against what I'm supposed to operate on, but it looks like this is a special situation. I'll... lose the paperwork.
(Rob exits the cell, gets his helmet, and heads out with Sydney. Outside, the other three Sonic Rangers are waiting on their speeders.)
Rob (slipping his helmet on): OK Sydney, let's do it.
Sydney: Sonic-Pentium-Charge White!
(Sydney instantly transforms into SonicWhite and she mounts her bike.)
SonicRed (doing a Kevin Spacey voice): Let's ride!
(The speeders start making loud noise and rush down the street.)
What are you picking up?
SonicBlue: I've got plenty of nothing...
SonicWhite: That's what Photox wants you to think!
SonicBlack: And I suppose you have a better plan?
SonicWhite: I do. Switch to heat scanners.
(The Sonic Five switch to their heat scanners.)
SonicRed: There it is! Near the Brooklyn Bridge!
SonicWhite: Let's get 'em!
(They head to the bridge, where they dismount and begin a thermal scan for the monster.)
SonicYellow: Come out, come out, wherever you are, you fat, shadowy, son of a bitch...
(Photox rushes behind SonicYellow and grabs him, as Neil lets out a groan to let everyone know that something is terribly amiss.)
What the...
Photox: I'm not so fat and shadowy now, aren't I?
SonicBlack: We'll see. Bioblasters, armed!
(Black, Blue, Red, and White aim carefully, as to avoid hitting Yellow. They miss both.)
SonicBlue: Huh? Where'd he go?
SonicRed: Photox has got to have some sort of affliction that we can use to defeat him.
SonicBlack: Well, first we got to catch him... (activates thermal scan) He's moving too fast! I can't single him out!
SonicYellow: I know something that can... (pushes the "SPECIAL" button on his Cartridge) SonicRush!
(The yellow-clad warrior begins to search around at an incredibly fast speed until he not only finds Photox, but uses the SonicRush to smack him silly. Photox falls to the ground)
Syd, how could you could you go out with THIS guy?
SonicWhite: Okay, like I'm supposed to know if all my dates are aliens?
Photox: This gives me the perfect chance to escape...
SonicYellow: Oh, no you don't! (throws his SonicBlade at Photox's head, cutting something off and sending it back to SonicYellow) Well, what do we have here?
SonicRed: What is it?
SonicYellow: It looks like a normal rock, but I'm guessing it's what makes Photox transform.
Photox: What the... I can't escape! You're going to pay dearly for this!
Arachness! Give me strength!
(On top of a building, the Galteans are watching.)
Arachness: I'll give you strength, alright.
Synchron: This is a new variation of the egg that we have made. It will instantly make Galtoids not only bigger, but stronger, faster, smarter... More powerful than any being in the universe.
Zenos: Then use it.
Divit: It's implanted as a gem on your sword, Argox.
Argox: Now... Activate GalteaBall!
(Argox fires a beam from his sword at the ground. The ground seems to liquefy as a slightly larger orb comes out of the ground.)
SonicRed: What the...
SonicBlue: That ain't like any orb I've ever seen...
SonicWhite: We've got to stop him!
Photox (catching the ball): I'm afraid it's too late!
(The Galteaball develops claws that pierce through the monster's head into it's brain. Then, Photox begins to grow and mutate.)
SonicRed: Bigger doesn't always make better. Activating Macrodroid program, now!
(The Sonic Five begin by pushing the positive button on the SonicCharger. In an instant, they are transformed into their alternate selves.)
MacroRed: OK, Photox, show yourself!
(Within seconds, Photox strikes all five Macrodroids. They all fall to the ground.)
Photox: Just because I can't transform doesn't make me any slower! You will have to deal with it!
MacroRed: Never!
Photox: Have it your way!
(The monster begins to slice and dice his way through the Macrodroids.)
MacroWhite: This isn't working! We need more power!
MacroBlue: We can't! Our power level is reaching critical and we're beginning to short!
(Photox moves in for the kill when suddenly lasers start shooting at the monster. The Macrodroids, weak and losing power, turn to see a red robot, a blue tank, a black carrier, a yellow Space Invader-type machine, and a white jet. The robot stops just short of MacroRed as Pixel pops out of the head.)
Pixel: Hey there, stranger. Need a lift?
MacroRed: You spoil me, you know that?
MacroYellow: What are these?
(Then Dr. O pops out of the robot's head.)
Dr. O: We knew that one day your Macrodroid armor would fail you, so Pixel and I created these Mechatrons. RoboSonic for Rob, TankSonic for Carter, JetSonic for Sydney, RiderSonic for Neil, and CarrierSonic for Kevin.
MacroYellow: Are they more powerful than the Macrodroids?
Dr. O: Much more.
MacroYellow: I'm sold.
(The M-Five demorph into the S-Five in mid air. They begin to freefall for the cockpits of their respective machines.)
Pixel: Nice landing, hot shot.
SonicRed: We can talk landings later. Now let's destroy this beast.
Dr. O: Use the onboard scanner to find Photox's weakness.
SonicRed: Affirmative.
(RoboSonic's scanner pinpoints a weak spot in his head.)
SonicYellow (in the cockpit of RiderSonic): His head?
SonicRed: Of course! Since Neil pulled out his transforming horn, we can now target it! If we aim just right, I'm sure that he'll lose control over his body functions!
SonicBlue (in the cockpit of TankSonic): Come again?
SonicWhite (in the cockpit of JetSonic): I get it. The horn acts as a control. If it gets damaged or separated from the host being, then we can destroy it!
SonicBlack (inside CarrierSonic): All right then! Commence laser fire!
(All of the Mechatrons begin to fire on the head. Photox begins to severely weaken.)
SonicRed: There's nothing more we can do... is there, father?
Dr. O: Yes, there is. Insert your Pentium Cartridge in the slot marked "Macrosonic" and push the red button. Neil, Carter, and Sydney, you do the same.
(Photox begins to get up and charges toward the machines.)
SonicRed: RoboSonic Pentium Charge!
SonicYellow: RiderSonic Pentium Charge!
SonicBlue: TankSonic Pentium Charge!
SonicWhite: JetSonic Pentium Charge!
(The tank stops in the middle of the battlefield and launches itself into the air. RoboSonic inserts its legs in the back of TankSonic. RiderSonic places itself behind RoboSonic, forming new, more powerful arms. JetSonic transforms into a head and inserts it where RoboSonic's head was. The four Sonics have now formed Macrosonic.)
SonicRed: Macrosonic sequence completed!
(The giant robot begins to punch the head and body of Photox. Photox stumbles again. SonicBlack watches the battle from CarrierSonic.)
SonicBlack: Hey... what about me?
Dr. O: You like surfing?
(Macrosonic begins to jump onto the CarrierSonic.)
SonicBlack: I get it. Increasing to maximum speed. I hope you have something that will work on this guy.
SonicRed: I have just the thing. Activating Charge Blade.
(The Macrosonic's right hand turns into a giant sword. Moving at an increasing speed atop the CarrierSonic, the Macrosonic begins to slice through Photox.)
Photox (as he lays dying): Sydney, you wouldn't do this to your date, would you?
SonicWhite (scornful): It's been great, Guy... I'll call you.
(Just then, like Sydney's 'heart', Photox explodes leaving behind the remnants of battle.)

Mike: He'll be here. I'm sure of it.
(Suddenly, Sydney is seen walking to her locker. Ash stops her.)
Ash: Sydney... you're Guy's girl, right? You mind telling us where he is?
Sydney (pauses): Couldn't tell you. (grabs her books and head to class) wherever he is, he's gonna be late for class.
Ash: (mocking) Wherever he is, he's gonna be late for class. (regular voice) Maybe Arachness knows something. (Opens his locker and turns on his laptop) Arachness, where is Photox?
Arachness: He was destroyed by the Sonic Five and their new machine.
Mike: This is not good. Someone here knows something.
Arachness: And it's up to you three to find out who...
