Nothing really major to report... yet. I mean, nothing has happened yet, but by the way that the Sonic Five is acting, I may have a problem on my hands. Another thing is, I haven't seen Rob in a while. I wonder if he is still angry at what I did. I hope not. Fathers have to do the best for their sons, even if it hurts them. I remember that's what my father, Paul Oppenheimer, said to me. (sighs) May he rest in peace.
End transmission.
[The Galtean Earthbase. The Galteans are just about to wrap up their discussion about the infiltration of the Techlabs. They watch the two as they seep through the cracks and end up at the central core of the labs.]
Syncotron: Behold, Tourix! The central power core. I knew it was around her somewhere.
Tourix: Quiet, you. We have work to do now.
[Back with Argox and Synchron.]
Argox: You see, team. They are just about to plant the detonation devices. Our plan is working.
Synchron: Now on to stage two. Where are the Sonic Five?
Divit: That's a little hard to explain. Two of them are in Ottawa infiltrating Raybin's actions. The other three are trying to find them.
Zenos: Interesting. Divit, it shall be your responsibility to ...
[The two monsters come in on the communicator.]
Tourix: We have planted the bombs.
Zenos: Good. Continue the plan. Divit, (turns to Divit) change of plan. You are to lure the Sonic V back to New York.
Divit: Right.
[There is a noise outside, like footsteps.]
Did you hear something?
Synchron: It came from outside. I will check it out.
[Pixel, trying best to keep a low profile, tries to sneak around Synchron's peering eyes.]
Intruder! Show yourself!
[She then escapes his crimson glance and proceeds to quickly run behind him to the next available exit.]
Pixel: Yeah... that was easy. I can't believe I made it. Now all I have to do is find Rob.

[In another part of the northern region, Rob is busy finding the whereabouts of Richard Hartson.]
Rob: Red Speeder, find these coordinates.
[Within moments, the super-intelligent bike comes up with something. The onboard computer points to a remote canyon deep in the eastern portion of the Canadian Shield. The computer also picks up heavy Galtean activity in the same region.]
Is it possible that Hartson was captured by the Galteans? Or maybe ... (hears a female voice call his name) What the... Pixel?
[SonicWhite approaches on White Speeder. Angered and annoyed, she removes her helmet.]
Sydney: Where the hell were you? I've been trying to find you for the last three days!
Rob: I thought I told you that I was going at this alone! I can take these guys myself!
Sydney: Listen. You need our help on this one, whether or not you're afraid to admit it. Besides, we were all thinking that this could be...
Rob: A Galtean trap? I was deducing the same conclusion not too long ago. Look at Red Speeder.
[The two look at the screen and find the location of Richard Hartson.]
Raybin's confidante is within this region. So are the Galteans.
Sydney: Wait a minute. You think Raybin's involved in this? I mean, come on! I know he's trash, but to suspect that he's working with Arachness?
Rob: We have to keep all of our options open. Besides, if I find Hartson, I can find...
Sydney: Pixel.
Rob: Correct. And since you're so bent on helping me...
Sydney: Let's go, Rob.
Rob: Sonic Pentium Charge, Red!

[Rob transforms into SonicRed while Sydney put her helmet back on. Together, they cruise at breakneck speeds to the Galtean Earthbase. Their arrival does not go unnoticed, however.]
Zenos: Sister! There has been a breach! Shall I investigate it?
Arachness: Send the Lexicons.
Zenos: Yes, sister.
----------
[Outside the Earthbase, SonicRed and SonicWhite hurry toward the main gate.]
SonicRed: SonicWhite! Keep your scanners open for Pixel's biorhythms just in case!
SonicWhite: Why me? She's YOUR girlfriend!
SonicRed: Just do it! I'll run off these Lexicons!
[SonicRed activates his bike's lasers to attack the Lexicons. The soldiers are knocked over by Red Speeder. SonicRed proceeds through the main gate when he receives a message.]
SonicWhite: Rob! I found something! Pixel's approximately 25 feet from your present location and moving. It's like she's trying to escape!
SonicRed: I have to help her get out of there!
SonicWhite: I'm sure she can do it herself...
SonicRed: No, I have to help her, because...
[SonicWhite is intrigued by SonicRed's sudden pause.]
Because I love her (storms into the Earthbase).
SonicWhite: What?!
[By the time SonicWhite asks herself what is going on, Rob is clear out of sight, trying to look for Pixel.]

[SonicBlue, SonicBlack, and SonicYellow are traveling deep into the northern region of New America.]
SonicBlack: Anything yet?
SonicYellow: Nothing!
SonicBlue: Hold on! I think I've found Rob! And it looks like Sydney's with him!
SonicYellow: Hold on... I see 'em too! And it looks like Pixel's with them?
SonicBlack: No, but they are looking for her. (V-Pager goes off) SonicBlack here.
Dr. O: Kevin? Where the blazes?

[Switch over to Pixel, who is now running for her life as she escapes her confines. While she goes through the courtyard that separates the main gate from the actual Earthbase, she sees a surprise that's red all over.]
Pixel: ROOOOOOBBBB!
SonicRed: Pixel!
[The Red Sonic Ranger hops off his bike and runs toward Pixel as the two tightly embrace.]
Pixel: We have to go back to Manhattan!
SonicRed: Why?
Pixel: It's all a trap! The Galtoids... and the report... and Raybin...
SonicRed: Explain on the way! Sydney! We've gotta head back! Father might be in danger!

[Meanwhile, on the road, the Rangers try to explain to Dr. O what happened.]
Kevin: ... and that's why we're looking for Rob.
Dr. O: Well, your motives were right, I'll give you that much.
Kevin: So have you found a lock on Rob yet?
Dr. O: According to the scanners here, he should be 2 miles north of your direction, approaching at a rate of 175 kilometers an hour.
[Rob spots the Rangers as they are talking to Dr. O.]
SonicRed: There, Sydney! Turn up the velocity!
SonicWhite: Right!
SonicRed: Hold on, Pix!
Pixel: Do you even have to ask me?
[Pixel holds on tight as they approach the others.]
Neil: Well, well... The Road Warrior.
Carter: I told you this was a bad idea.
SonicRed: We'll talk about this later. Right now, we have to get back to OT. Pixel says something about some detonation charges there.
[The Sonic Five quickly rush toward what used to be the US/Canada border.]
Pixel: This is gonna take too long! Can't you get this heap to move?
SonicRed: It's going as fast as possible! I can't accelerate any more without posing risks to the AI programming!
Carter: What about Macrosonic?
SonicRed: Good idea. The Carrier can move at least ten times the speed of the Sonic Speeders. Let's do it!
Carter: Sonic Pentium Charge, Blue!
Kevin: Sonic Pentium Charge, Black!
Neil: Sonic Pentium Charge, Yellow!
[The three remaining Sonic Soldiers transform.]
SonicRed: Now, dispatch Sonic Mechatrons!
[The Sonic Five push the "S" button on their Sonic Chargers. In O Techlabs' hangar, the Sonic Mechatrons all rush at lightning speed to the coordinates of the Sonic Five. The team quickly rushes to their respective cockpits as the machines get faster and faster.]
SonicWhite: White JetSonic armed.
SonicYellow: Yellow RiderSonic armed.
SonicBlue: Blue TankSonic armed.
SonicBlack: Black CarrierSonic armed.
SonicRed/Pixel: Red RoboSonic armed.

[The Galtean Palace, where all the Galteans are in an uproar.]
Argox: The prisoner has escaped!
Arachness: Where is she now?
Synchron: It is most likely that she is with the Sonic Five.
Divit: They are headed toward O Techlabs, my queen. Chances are they found the Galtoids.
Arachness: Let them go. Argox, Zenos, if your plan does indeed work, then they will be destroyed on impact, anyway.
[Zenos cracks a sinister smile as the Galteans work to warn the two Galtoids that the Sonic Five are on their way.]

[Meanwhile, at O Techlabs...]
Syncotron: The trap is set, human. The building will be destroyed in twenty minutes.
Raybin: Good. I just received word that the Sonic Five are on their way. If we can't have the girl, then no one can.
Tourix: Understood. Syncotron! Prepare for battle!
[Raybin tosses them each a GalteaEgg, which they both smash into each other to grow. The Sonic Five, arriving just in time, catch wind of this.]
SonicYellow: Those mothers are HUGE!
SonicBlue: I'm gonna try and circle them.
[SonicBlue pilots TankSonic in between the two monsters in figure 8s as they begin to bump into each other.]
Syncotron: You little fly!
SonicWhite: Did I hear little fly?
[SonicWhite flies JetSonic around and shoots at their feet. Meanwhile in the cockpit of RoboSonic...]
Pixel: You can outrun them, can't you?
SonicRed: I can try.
[RoboSonic tries to outsmart Syncotron and Tourix by attacking from the back, but it ends up hurting him, as he is thrown into a mountainside and then picked up and thrown to the other Mechatrons.]
SonicBlack: Rob! You're getting trashed here!
SonicRed: That's what it looks like!
SonicBlack: Maybe I have something. Macro CarrierSonic Pentium Charge!
[The CarrierSonic transforms into it's alternative form, Macro CarrierSonic. It immediately smashes the two Galtoids into each other.]
SonicRed: Great! Now we can finish them. Macrosonic Pentium Charge!
[The remaining four Mechatrons transform into the warrior robot Macrosonic. Macrosonic begins to finish the job that the Macro CarrierSonic started, by punching the creature's chest.]
Tourix: Nice shot, but it was only one! (starts beating up on Macrosonic)
SonicRed: That's it. Kevin, you take care of Syncotron, but Tourix is mine!
SonicBlack: You got it. Carrier Buster Missiles, fire!
[Buster Missiles spring out from his back. Syncotron dodges the first two, but the third one hits him point blank in the head. He falls over, severely weakened.]
There. One down, one to go. You think you can get him over there with Syncotron? SonicRed: I could, but it won't be easy!
[The two behemoths clash in a battle that the Macrosonic seems to be losing. Weary, Macrosonic begins to lure Tourix to where Syncotron is struggling to get up. Concentrated only on destroying Macrosonic, Tourix foolishly trips over the felled Syncotron.]
SonicBlue: Can you believe that?
SonicRed: Now's our big moment. Prepare for Macrosonic Charge Blade Finish!
[Macrosonic unsheaths its Charge Blade, while Macro Carrier reverts to its orignal state. Macrosonic hops onto CarrierSonic as the two begin to get faster and faster until the Charge Blade is charged with enough kinetic energy for one final slash.]
All: Charge Blade Finish!
[Immediately, the charged blade slices through the Galtoids, sending them falling.]
SonicRed: A little too late for any parlor tricks.
Syncotron: Yes, a little too late...
Tourix: For you.
[Both monsters explode. Everyone cheers except for Rob.]
Pixel: Cheer up, Rob. I mean, we just won, didn't we?
SonicRed: I don't know. What do you suppose he meant by "a little too late for you?"
[The six return to the insides of O Techlabs as the Macrosonic return to the hangar. They all check to see if Dr. O's okay.]

Rob: Father, I'm very sorry for not telling you.
Dr. O: I don't blame you. Your motives were true. But in society, we have certain guidelines to live by. Your existence as sentient androids was held in the balance.
Pixel: You don't get it, do you, doc?
Dr. O: What are you talking about?
Pixel: There were no charges! It was all a hoax to get the Sonics out and the Galtoids into the building. (shows a flashback of what Pixel saw) They morphed into a puddle of liquid metal, then seeped into the cracks, made their way into the central core, and planted something there.
Carter: What was it?
[Echo's voice comes from the loudspeaker.]
Echo: There is a disturbance in the central core.
Rob: We gotta hurry! Echo, get Jackson and D'angelo.
----------
[The Sonic Five team takes the lifts to the central core. Once they arrive there, they search for anything amiss. They hear several blips.]
Kevin: Those don't sound like machine blips. Ours anyway.
Neil: Maybe if we follow the sounds.
[Neil traces the sound to a back-end console. He finds the source of the blips, analyzes it, and comes to a startling conclusion.
IT'S A BOMB!
[The team stops in its tracks.]
Let's get out of here!
Kevin: Wait! Can't we disable it?
Neil: Not in ninety seconds. Our only chance is to get the hell out of here!
Rob: Echo, where are the technicians?
Echo: Jackson and D'angelo are currently located in the concourse area.
Pixel: Let's get them and get out of here!

[The team leaves as the detonators start beeping and the timers run out.]

[Suddenly, the detonators start sparking flames in every which way. Meanwhile in the concourse area.]
Jackson: We're under attack! Force sensor has been compromised.
D'Angelo: Looks like there are detonators planted on the base. We have no defenses!
[Dr. O arrives from the lifts first and reports to his battle stations. The Sonic Five and Pixel soon follow.]
Jackson: Dr. O! Where've you been?
Dr. O (checking a panel): No time to answer that. Prepare to initiate escape sequence. (into the loudspeaker) All hands, proceed with post-haste to the shuttle launch stations.
[In the hallways, several technicians open the bulkheads in a wall and head through the secret corridors to a large bay, which holds two space shuttles prepared for launch.]
Sydney (arriving with the others): What's going on, dad?
Dr. O: Just like Neil said. We're taking all our equipment and getting out before this place caves in. (looks around) Where are the others? We need to evacuate!
Kevin: They're not here. Don't worry, let's go!

[They all head through a door and head down a very slim tunnel until they reach the first shuttlecraft.]
Dr. O: Everybody head in!
[The technicians and the rest of the team enter the shuttle. Kevin and Carter take the main helm controls and Dr. O and Neil take the back seats of the cockpit. In the passenger area (which looks like first class), Pixel, Rob, Sydney, and the technicians take the seats and buckle up.]
Kevin (into comm): Everybody loaded? Let's go!
[The shuttle's engines start glowing powerful orange until they start hovering. They head, extremely fast, into a secret tunnel that is only slightly larger than the ships traveling in it. Just then, the Techlabs explode.]
Sydney: WAIT! The Mechatrons! They're still in the hangar!
Rob: Well have to come back for them later.
[In the cockpit...]
Kevin (pushing one of the control rods forward): Must... go... faster!
[Flames follow the shuttles and causes parts to explode. In the passenger area, the gas masks fall from the ceiling. In the cockpit...]
Dr. O: The automated escape protocol is down! You have to get us out of here manually.
Carter: MANUALLY? How can we do that?
Dr. O: You HAVE to!
[Kevin grabs the steering control and the shuttle starts wobbling.]
Kevin: OK. I think I got it.
Dr. O: Look out!
[The tunnel becomes a sharp inclination and the shuttle begins shooting up at an incredible speed.]
Carter: We're almost through! I hope!
Neil (a la Mark McKinney on the Kids in the Hall): Come on, little darling... Come on, little baby... Come on, you son of a bitch...
[A peaceful serence mountaintop suddenly becomes a fiery inferno as the shuttles shoot out a mountaintop and rocket towards the sky, going so high they reach the stars. Behind them, the mountain takes on the likeness of a volcano as the flames of the explosion shoot out. Inside...]
Sydney: It's gone... It's all gone...
Dr. O: Set a course for LR-4 mark 6.
Kevin: Yes sir.
Neil: What's on LR-4 Mark 6?
[Dr. O remains silent. The shuttles slow down to cruising speed and fly through the skies. Kevin sighs and sits back in his seat.] Wow! Pretty close, don't you think, guys?
Carter: That was intense.
Neil: A bit too close...
[The passenger area...]
Rob: This is it.
Pixel: What is it?
Rob: This is what Tourix meant... when he said that it was too late for us.
[Rob takes a look at Earth from the window.]
She's all hers now.
