NAME: Ramona Brayman PASS CODE: *****It's pretty much a new beginning for all of us. After flying in space for about 6 hours, we finally reached our new home, the Oppenheimer Satellab. It looks kinda Star Trekkish. Not like I'm into that sort of thing. After we got Echo up and running again, Dr. O took and Rob and Carter to the crash site of O Techlabs. We found some things, but we're still trying to find some more. I found some more things on the Satellab. The whole team was here to see it, but for some reason, don't remember. I tried to ask Dr. O for some help, but he won't speak to me for some reason. I have to wonder...
End transmission.
[Outside of the tattered hangar, SonicRed and SonicBlue are trying to calm Kelberox down.] SonicBlue: How long do you suppose we'll have to tire this guy?
SonicRed: I don't think this guy ever GETS tired. But I've got an idea. Carter, take this side.
SonicBlue: Ready! Bioblasters, now!
[SonicRed flips to the other side of the battlefield. He aims his Bioblaster at the back of his neck and fires. Kelberox is stunned. The monster turns around and fires several energy balls from its mouth.]
SonicRed: His energy supply has to cease sometime!
SonicBlue: And if it doesn't?
Kelberox: Let's find out!
[Kelberox is about to let a flurry of firepower loose, when a shuttle approaches the scene, stopping short of the fight. SonicYellow, SonicBlack, and SonicWhite flip out of it.]
SonicBlack: We were monitoring the fight and figured that you needed our help.
SonicBlue: Well, you were right. We tried Bioblasters. We tried Sonic Switchers... NOTHING seems to work!
SonicWhite (seeing a mirrored windowpiece): Wait... That's it! guys, I'm gonna need a diversion.
SonicYellow: Let's give it to her! Bioblasters ready!
[The four men flip all over the place shooting at Kelberox.]
Kelberox: Stay still!
[Kelberox begins to start pelting energy balls at everyone and everything in the vicinity. One such ball is headed toward Sydney. Sydney grabs the mirrored glass she saw earlier and shileds herself with it. The ball bounces back and hits Kelberox. He falls down, severely hurt, but not destroyed.]
SonicBlack: What the hell? Shouldn't Galtoids be destroyed by something like that?
SonicRed: Let me see (scans). Wait... This Galtoid has human genes!
SonicWhite: A hybrid?
SonicRed: No, something much worse. It's a human who's been mutated into a monster.
SonicYellow: Good job, Mr. Science. Now tell us who it is.
SonicRed: I'm working on it. (More scans) It's... Richard Hartson.
All: What?!

[After searching the hangar for any sign of active technology, Dr. O finally finds something. He reports to the Five.]
Dr. O: Good news. I found the Mechatrons. But they're gonna need some major repair. We can do it in the Satellab.
SonicBlue: Anything you find that was operational?
Dr. O: I found the rest of the weapons and three of the Sonic Speeders.
[Each Ranger takes his/her respective weapon.]
SonicYellow (talking to his SonicBlade): Good to have you back, junior.
SonicRed: I suggest we latch the Mechs to the shuttle and haul them back to the Satellab. Maybe we can get them back online before Hartson decides to wake up.
Dr. O: Hartson?
SonicBlack: We'll explain on the way back. Let's go.
SonicYellow: Wait. I'll stay here. I think there's one person that can get to the bottom of this.
SonicWhite: Who?
SonicYellow: The news lady!
SonicBlack: You're kidding, right?
SonicYellow: Obviously someone there knows something that can connect Richard Hartson, the Galteans, and when the Labs went boom.
SonicRed: I'm willing to trust him.
SonicBlack: That's a first.
Dr. O: Fine, Neil. You have one day. Come up with something.
SonicYellow: Will do.
SonicRed: Okay. Let's get back to the Satellab.
[The rest of the S-Five team head back onto the shuttle and back to the Satellab, leaving Neil alone to think.]
SonicYellow: Well, might as well get started here.
----------
[The Galtean Earthbase, where Divit and Synchron monitor the fight.]
Synchron: He has been defeated.
Divit: Just as I thought. Human starins of DNA has made this monster weak. Wht he needs is another dose of the serum.
Synchron: You mean, you're just going to go down and ...
Divit: Exactly. The timing is perfect. We can do it while he is unconscious and retrain him to find the place where Chronos is buried!
Zenos: You are forgetting one thing, my dear.
[Zenos enters the lab from the throne room.]
Divit: And what would that be?
Zenos: The fact that you all are under strict order from my sister to bring the beast back here for further experimentation.
Divit: Arachness does not have to know of my latest development. As long as you keep your mouth shut.
Zenos: And you actually think I care about what you do wtih him? All Arachness said was...
Synchron: We are aware of what Arachness said. This does not change anything. Only the magnitude of our creature. Just wait...

[O Satellabs. Three Macrodroids try and piece together the Mechatrons in the harsh environment of space.]
MacroRed: Where's the laser-welder?
MacroBlue: I'm using it to sauter the RiderSonic together. You'd think Neil would take better care of this thing...
Sydney (over the communicator): How's the work?
MacroBlack: We have three of the Mechatrons back online. There's one more acid test, but we'll get into that later. How's Neil?
Sydney: I've gotten a couple of messages from him. He says he's gonna try and talk to Cass Hedgway about it. He also says that he's gonna have a hard time convincing anyone that the inhabitants of O Techlabs aren't dead.
[Back on the Bridge, Pixel enters and sees Sydney talking to the three Macrodroids.]
Pixel: You know, you have to wonder what plan Neil has in mind.
Sydney: This is Neil we're talking about. I'm almost afraid to even think about it.

[Back on Earth, Neil wears a gray business suit with a yellow shirt, in hopes to gain entrance to the INN world headquarters.]
Guardsman: Thanks for coming, Mr. Warner. The main entrance is over there to the left.
[The guardsman goes back into the gatehouse to listen to the radio, which is currently playing a song called "Mind Games."]
Guardsman (singing along): "You're getting involved in some mind games, and you're not ready for the outcome. All you hear is the silence of the dead that passed long..."
[He hears the screech of a tire in mid-chorus and goes outside again.]
Neil: Excuse me...
[The guardsman turns to a Ray-ban-wearing Neil in Yellow Speeder, one of three that are working.]
Guardsman: Hello, sir. May I see your pass?
Neil: Well, I don't have one, but it's important that I see Miss Hedgway inside.
Guardsman: No pass, no entrance.
Neil: Okay... but it's about... ahem, Sonic Five.
Guardsman: I don't have time for any games... The Sonic Five died last week in the blast over at O Techlabs.
Neil: You have a serious attitude problem.
Guardsman: Listen, buddy, I don't have time for any of your crap, okay? I'm gonna give you the count of three to get your ass outta here.
Neil: Fine. (turns around) Donut-stuffing freak. Guess we'll have to do this my way.
[Neil begins to drive off when he decides to transform and make a U-turn. Neil, now SonicYellow, makes another pass towards the gate. This time, instead of stopping at the gate, the motorcycle jumps over it. SonicYellow lets out a 'rebel yell' as he clears the landing. He then gets off of the bike and reverts.]
Yellow Speeder, return to the Satellab.
[The bike flashes its headlights and rides off. Neil enters the building and sees an usher.]
Usher: Welcome to the INN World Headquarters, sir.
Neil: Do you know where I can find Cass Hedgway's office.
Usher: She's currently on the air for another five minutes. And even if she wasn't on the air, I don't think she takes kindly to fans.
Neil: Who says I'm a fan?
Usher: What do you mean by that?
Neil: I have to talk to her about the Sonic Five.
Usher: Why didn't you just call her office? Her number's in the directory, you know.
Neil: She thinks that the Sonic Five is dead. We aren't. (shows the usher his SPC)
Usher (examining the cartridge): I'll give you a personal escort.
Neil: Give me my cartridge first. I think this is something Cass needs to see to believe.
[The usher leads Neil into the building.]

[The remnants of O Techlabs, Kelberox is beginning to rouse when Synchron and Divit enter the scene.]
Synchron: I still have my reservations about this plan, Divit.
Divit: Trust me. (hears Kelberox moaning) Wait... Kelberox is awakening. We have to hurry.
[Kelberox tries to lift his head. This time, he seems to have some of the monster knocked out of him.
Kelberox (in a voice that sounds more like Hartson): Where am I? What happened?
[Divit comes in, trying to restrain Kelberox from any further movement.]
Divit: Kelberox, you were defeated in battle by Sonic Five.
Kelberox: That's impossible! Sonic Five is dead! Tourix and Syncotron killed them!
Synchron: They managed to escape. Arachness has yet to know of this. We have to bring you back for recharging.
Kelberox: For what?
Divit: You'll see sooner or later.
----------
[Outside the main newsroom of INN, Neil watches as Cass Hedgway finishes her report.]
Hedgway: We will have more on the explosion of O Techlabs tonight on the Nine o'clock Report. Thanks for watching.
[Some news music plays and then the director steps in.]
Director: And we're clear...
Hedgway: Another one in the can. How was I?
Director: Good as always.
Hedgway: Thanks. I'm heading up to my office to take a few calls from the Sky network. Tony over there says he has a hot tip.
[As Cass walks off of the set and into her office, she sees Neil in the doorway.]
Neil: Miss Hedgway?
Hedgway: I don't have time for fans right now.
Neil: About... O Techlabs.
Hedgway (intrigued): What about it?
Neil: You know something about what happened there, don't you?
Hedgway: How do you figure?
Neil: Someone once told me that "news is more than what is written or said on TV." Ever heard of Dr. Watson Oppenheimer?
Hedgway: How do you know Dr. Oppenheimer?
Neil: It's a little hard to explain, so... Sonic Pentium Charge, Yellow!
[He changes into SonicYellow. Needless to say, Cass is stunned. Neil takes off his helmet.]
Hedgway: A Sonic Ranger?! That's impossible! You're supposed to be...
Neil: Dead? No way!
Hedgway: What's this all about?
Neil: I think you know about the disaster than you're reporting.
Hedgway: Why do you think that?
Neil: I don't know... Probably because you get the news before anyone else does?
Hedgway: Listen. Let me take this call first. Maybe it is about the blast, but I can't be sure of anything. (picks up the ringing phone) Cass Hedgway...
[While Cass answers the phone, Neil gives the room a once over. His once hazel eyes glow a clear yellow as he scans for anything that may lead to a connection.]
Okay, I'll be there tomorrow. Okay. Bye. (hangs up as Neil finds something)
Neil: Well, well, well... What is this? (picks up a paper with some text crossed out.)
Hedgway: Are you talking about that rap sheet? Most of that stuff is circumstantial.
Neil: Not what I'm seeing... (starts reading through the red ink that croses out the text) "According to preliminary reports, there has been a fight between the Sonic Five and two Galtoid monsters prior to the blast. Senator William Raybin was watching all of this when he suddenly disappeared." Funny how none of this made the airwaves. You know, I could tell the head guy in charge. You know, make things all dramatic for you and your job and all...
[Hedgway, finding that her "integrity" is in jeopardy, finally gives in.]
Hedgway: All right! What is it that you want? Is it money? Because if it is...
Neil: Tempting, but I really need your mind on this one. I need a connection between the Galtoids, Richard Hartson, and the blast.
Hedgway: I'm sorry, but I provide information on a "need-to-know" basis.
Neil: You're a journalist, damn it! You have an obligation to tell the truth, not embellish inferences.
[Hedgway thinks about this long and hard for a moment before coming to a decision.]
Hedgway: William Raybin.
Neil: What?
Hedgway: It makes sense. Look at this film. I was monitoring the fight on my laptop. As you can see, Raybin was in the corner watching the fight when he decided to make a disappearance. Why? I don't know. I figured he'd know something about the building going up.
Neil: And Syncotron and Tourix?
Hedgway: Conveniently, you and the Sonic Five defeated him in time to watch O Techlabs go up, but my computer picked up this image five minutes later.
[The image of the mountain shooting the shuttles out is brought up.]
You were on one of those shuttles, weren't you?
Neil: Yep. And as for the bomb, we already knew that the uglies planted it.
Hedgway: The only thing we don't know about was Hartson, other than he was released once by Raybin.
Neil (a la John McLaughlin): Wrong! Twice. He was released, put back in jail, and released again, this time under the influence of a mutagenic serum that transformed into the monster that you were reporting on not more than fifteen minutes ago. So, like you said, Raybin is the link in all of this. (balls up the rap sheet) Castle, with the fade-away for the game... (shoots the paper ball into the wastebasket) SWISH! Nothing but net!
Hedgway: All right, you proved your case. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to take what's left of my self-dignity and work with it.
Neil: Go ahead. Work all you want! Just know one thing... Sonic Five, dead, no. Oh and, uh, love your work...
[Neil takes his helmet and leaves the office and heads for the elevator. He calls Dr. O on his V-Pager.]
Dr. O: How did things work out?
Neil: Home team wins another one. Now get the others. Hartson is still out there and he wants a fight.
----------
[The Galtean Earthbase. Kelberox is being brought to Arachness' chamber.]
Zenos: Well... You made good on my sister's orders, I see.
Synchron: We only brought him back so that he can be rendered controllable.
Divit: I already sedated him again. All he needs now is this advanced serum. Trust me. He will be unstoppable.
Arachness: Yes. And with this (holds a GalteaEgg), he will be invicible. Begin the procedure.
[Divit begins injecting the serum. Within moments, the Galtoid, who is now physically halfway between Hartson and Kelberox, begins to mutate into a stronger form of Kelberox. Not only that, but he also grew an exoskeleton of sheer metal to cover his blue flesh. This time, Arachness holds her scepter in the air to gain control of this beast.]

[O Satellab. The crew is just getting Neil's message and is beginning to look for Kelberox.]
Dr. O: I've ordered Neil to be on Macrodroid standby, just in case.
Sydney: Good idea. Pixel, you got anything?
Pixel: Not yet, just a bunch of... Wait a sec (sees a picture of what is now Shin Kelberox.)... I think we found something! He's huge!
Sydney (into the communicator): Rob, how are the repairs?
MacroRed: Well, the Mechatrons are repaired, but we don't know if the Macrosonic sequence is online yet!
Sydney: No time to see. You have to take them to Earth and fight Shin-Kelberox.
MacroRed: Affirmative. Where is Neil?
Pixel: He's still on Earth, isn't he?
----------
[Downtown New York City, where Neil is walking out of the INN building, helmet in hand, when he sees Shin Kelberox causing a mass disturbance among the town.]
Neil: Back to work.
[Neil puts on his helmet and heads toward town. He reaches toward his Sonic Charger and presses:
> :: POSITIVE ::
Speed lines pass Neil at a diagonal angle and he enlarges into giant size. Armor surrounds his body and he transforms into MacroYellow. He progresses toward Shin Kelberox.]
MacroYellow: Hey! Tall, dark, and pulsating! Over here!
[Shin Kelberox, with what's left of his humanity having been taken away, grunts and spouts a giant energy ball at MacroYellow.]
Not good!
[MacroYellow takes out his MacroBlade and throws it at Shin Kelberox's head. He winces in pain and starts to shoot more energy balls. He gets closer with every shot. Then he walks closer to MacroYellow, mouth open and salivating.]
He wants to EAT me?!
[As Shin Kelberox growls, he is hit by lasers from an outside force. It is SonicWhite aboard JetSonic.]
Syd?
SonicWhite: No meal for you today!
[Three of the Macrodroids enter punching Shin Kelberox in the stomach. The Galtoid falls over.]
MacroBlue: Hey Neil! Saved you from becoming the other side of the snack!
MacroYellow: No kidding! Rob, tell me you repaired the Macrosonic already!
MacroRed: Only one way to find out. (pulls out remote device) Macrosonic Pentium Charge!
[The Macrodroids hook up their belt buckles to their respective cockpits. SonicWhite pulls out her cartridge and inserts it into the JetSonic's mainframe. The four Mechatrons form the Macrosonic, while CarrierSonic transforms into Macro CarrierSonic. The two robots begin to severely weaken Shin Kelberox to the point of destruction. MacroRed steps in and gives the final warning.]
MacroRed: Now! MacroHatch Finish!
MacroBlack: MacroCannon Finish!
MacroYellow: MacroBlade Finish!
MacroBlue: MacroDagger Finish!
SonicWhite: Activate Charge Blade Finish!
[The four men slash the Galtoid with their weapons. CarrierSonic reverts as Macrosonic jumps aboard. Macrosonic reaches sublight speeds right before slashing right through the monster, utterly destroying it. All five members meet on the ground, expecting to celebrate their victory, but instead is bombarded with cameras and a certain overzealous reporter...]
Hedgway: How did you manage to destroy Richard Hartson like that?
SonicRed: Tha was not Richard Hartson. Not anymore. Galteans turned him into more of a heartless monster than what he really was.
Hedgway: Do you have anything else to say?
SonicBlue: Just remember one thing: (turns to one of the camera) Arachness, if you're listening, the Sonic Five are back!
