NAME: Neil Castle PASS CODE: *******What I learned yesterday was just unbelievable. I already had a feeling that Raybin was up to something when we found out that his friend Hartson was turned into a monster. Then I went to the INN World Headquarters and found out that the media was withholding information. Who knows what I'll know tomorrow.
End transmission.
[The Galtean Earthbase. Arachness is watching the latest INN report on the viewing screen. Obviously, she is not pleased with some of the remarks made about her.]
SonicBlue (on screen): "Arachness, if you're listening, the Sonic Five are back!"
[Arachness also sees SonicYellow in the background giving some form of arm gesture.]
Arachness (infuriated): Zenos!! You said that the Sonic Five had been eliminated.
Zenos: I... underestimated their strength.
Arachness: You underestimate your own abilities!
Divit: Umm... he's not the only one.
Arachness: Divit, are you questioning my authority.
Divit: I will remain silent.
Raybin: So what do we do now? Hartson's dead. We have little to no time before the Sonic Five return to wherever the hell they came from. What's the next stage?
Arachness: I think we have just the right window of time. Without the Techlabs, they're pretty much stranded on Earth.
Argox: When do we begin the attack?
Arachness: Right now. Argox, send a fleet of Lexicons to New York to find the Sonic Five. This time, there will be no escape...

[O Satellabs. Dr. O's quarters have been plagued with messages all day from Pixel begging to see him about something. While Dr. O takes a nap, his V-Pager rings.]
Dr. O (awakened): What the... Dr. O here.
Pixel: Doc, I've tried to get a hold of you for about two days now. Where are you?
Dr. O: I was taking a nap. Why do you need to see me so badly anyway?
Pixel: It's about that image that Rob brought up the other day.
Dr. O: What image?
Pixel: Are you taking me for an idiot?
Dr. O: Listen. You weren't meant to see that image.
Pixel: Well, I did. Right now I'm wishing you'd tell me why I saw that image.
Dr. O: Right now... I can't... I'm sorry (hangs up).

[The hangar of O Techlabs, which is still, surprisingly, in one piece. Most of the S-Five team are down there already.]
Rob: So Carter... What's this idea that you have been contemplating?
Carter: Well, I figured that with the repeated travels to Earth that we'll be doing, we're going to need something more compact than a shuttle.
Jackson: And that's where I come in. Carter suggested to me that we could convert the Sonic Speeders to space-faring vehicles.
Neil: One problem with that... most Biodroids come up for air, if you know what I mean.
Jackson: Okay. I recognize the fact that you aren't regular machines, so I've built this (brings up a visual on his palmtop). You see, the dome closes and supplies the rider with a full oxygen supply, enough for the trip from Earth to the Satellab. It's not that much, considering the Satellab is in Earth's orbit and not on the other side of the galaxy.
Carter: This way, we can get to Earth at a moment's notice, and still have the economical choice of getting back to the Satellab. Plus, Neil won't be stranded the next time reruns of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" air.
Neil: And what, Mr. Knight, are you trying to say?
[Carter gives Neil a funny smirk.]
Carter: I'm trying to say let's get to work.
[Carter and Jackson get to work with the Sonic Speeders in the hangar. Rob is already under Red Speeder converting it.]
Rob? What are you doing here? I thought you were on bridge duty with Dr. O!
Rob: Father suggested that my assistance may serve of some value in your endeavor.
Carter: Come on, Rob. I can handle this by myself.
Rob: Are you sure?
Carter: Yeah! I mean, we're all technowizards here.
Rob: True, but I initially customized the Sonic Speeders.
Carter: Well you can keep yours and I'll work on the rest. Can you pass me the wrench?
[In the distance, a squadron of Lexicons are approaching. In the hangar, Rob has a pulsating feeling due to the built-in radar in his electric brain.]
Rob: Aaaauuugh!
Carter: What's going on?
Rob: There are Lexicons outside. Neil's fighting them by himself. We have to help him!
Carter: True that. Let's go.
[Rob and Carter are out of the hangar. Sure enough, Neil is outside, giving a barage of flying kicks to the Lexicon horde, only to be felled by them later. Rob and Carter join the fight with some degree of success. Carter one-two's a Lexicon, finishing his combo with a kick upside the head. Rob is doing a sweep-flying roundhouse combo to fell three Lexicons. The ones that are still standing try and scramble to get away.]
Neil: I'm guessing that they heard aobut the hangar.
Carter: Let's hope not.
Rob: Neil, let's take Jackson and get back to the Satellab. If there are Lexicon about, then there's no doubt that the Galteans are up to something. Carter?
Carter: Well, there's still some work to do. I'd better stay behind.
Rob: All right. But keep your sensors on full alert. Come on, Neil. I've finished Red Speeder according to the specifications that Jackson gave us.
Neil: Perfect. A test-drive in space. You think that they'll clock us out there?
Rob: Shut up, Neil.

[At the Gatean Earthbase. Divit and Synchron are working hard in their lab. Zenos enters.]
Zenos: Divit, Synchron, stop what you are doing and listen to me. (they stand at attention) I have sent a fleet of Lexicons to Manhattan to do battle with the Sonic Five. I need a good follow-up. Something to succeed where Kelberox failed.
Divit: Well, I was working on a device to find, rise, and reactivate Chronos, but if you want to fight the Sonic Five instead...
Zenos: Just make the Galtoid! I have no time for your insolence. (walks off)
Synchron: Something to top Kelberox? What do you think?
Divit: I think... I've always wanted to see a wild dog run through New York. How about Canix?
Synchron: Excellent! Bring him to Arachness.
[After long testing and breeding, Canix is brought to Arachness. A rather large gray wolf wearing metal parts begins to salivate all over the place.]
Arachness: What is the meaning of this? How could you bring a mange into this fortress?
Divit: This is no ordinary dog. Show them, Canix!
[Canix gets on his hind legs as his eyes glow violet. Violet rays shoot out of his eyes and onto a free-standing Lexicon.]
You see? Now that you have Canix, you may be able to find Chronos soon!
Arachness: Finding Chronos... You have piqued my interest. Take Canix to New York.

[In the hangar. Carter is by himself struggling with some parts in trying to convert the Sonic Speeders.]
Carter: "It's cool, Rob. I can handle this..." What was I thinking? I can't handle this.
[Suddenly, the sound of a young woman surveying the area can be heard in the distance. Alarmed, Carter gets up and out to see what's going on. He sees a woman in a hard hat pointing in directions and giving orders.]
Woman: Over there. If there's anything over there, I want you to bring it here.
Carter: That's Senator Bradley... Dr. O's her assistant. But what's she doing here?
[After staring for a couple of minutes, Carter decides to go talk to the senator. She is a tall, slender, light-skinned woman, obviously a mulatto.]
Umm... excuse me?
[Senator Bradley turns around to look at Carter. Something startles her. Then she has repercussions of a rather odd kind. A flashback in back and white. We see a younger Sandra Bradley with a teenage son, Ryan.]
Ryan: Are you sure I should go alone?
Bradley: You're a good kid. I trust you.
Ryan: Okay.
[Ryan enters his car and goes to the other side of the neighborhood. Later, two hoods come around the car and shoot a hole in the tire. They proceed to shoot Ryan. His body is carried to his front yard. Sandra is shocked to see his son's bruised body on the ground.]
Bradley: Ryan... RYAN!!!!
[Ryan's name echoes in Bradley's mind for a moment.]
Ryan....
Carter: Who's Ryan? I'm Carter Knight...
Bradley: Carter Knight... You're one of them, aren't you? One of the "Biodroids" that Dr. Oppenheimer created.
Carter: Yeah. How do you know Dr. O?
Bradley (stuttering): He's my campaign assistant... and one of my closest friends. Listen, you'll have to forgive me for being a bit scared. I remembered that Watson said something about modeling one of his creations after my son... but you look so much like him... so much, that it's scary...
Carter: I've noticed... Dr. O talks a lot about you. I can't believe that I'm finally meeting you. It's an honor, really it is.

[While they are talking, Canix rises from the Galtean Earthbase. In a fast action, he jets across the northern territory to the remnants of O Techlabs.]

Carter: So what brings you here?
Bradley: We're doing a government probe. I was chosen to investigate. so what are you doing here?
[Just then, Rob and Dr. O arrive in Red Speeder from deep space.]
Dr. O: Good news, Carter. They work... (glances to Senator Bradley). Oh, helo, Sandra. Bradley: Watson... Robin... This is quite a surprise.
Rob: Not as much as we thought.
Dr. O: Sandra, what are you doing here?
Bradley: Government probe. We're thinking that this accident was... no accident.
Rob: We were processing the exact same notion, especially after what Neil brought us.
Bradley: What did he say?
Rob: Just that Raybin was the link between the recent Galtoid attacks on New York City and that the media was paid a hefty sum to conceal such information.
Bradley: I always knew that there was something about him.
Carter: Well, it's good that something's right.
Dr. O: What are you talking about, Carter?
Carter: I couldn't convert the rest of the bikes myself...
Bradley: So that's what you're doing here?
Carter: Yeah. So much for doing it myself.
Bradley: Yeah. And so much for being modeled after my son.
Carter: How so?
Bradley: I've always taught my son that he could do anything he wanted if he worked hard enough at it. You're just willing to quit after the first sign of failure.
Carter: First sign of failure? I knew I could do it. For some reason, I just couldn't.
Bradley: Well, if it helps, Ryan wasn't afraid to ask for help.
Rob: She is right, Carter. Even the most superior beings had to have some assistance.
Carter: I guess you're right. Do you want to say to help me?
Rob: Why not? Between the two of us, I am sure we can get the rest of the Sonic Speeders operational.
Carter: Let's go.
[Carter and Rob get to the hangar when their V-Pager goes off.]
Carter here. Go ahead.
Pixel: Carter, there's a Galtoid sighting near your area. We're gonna need the Sonic Five on this one.
Carter: We haven't readied the Speeders yet!
Rob: I will take care of them. I will just have to turn up the speed program a bit.
Carter: Good. Echo, do you have any information on this monster?
Echo: Canix is a wolf Galtoid. His razor-sharp claws and teeth are only second to his poisonous saliva and ill temper.
Rob: Cheerful.
Carter: Let's see what I can do. Sonic Pentium Charge Blue!

[Carter transforms and heads into the backstreets, SonicDaggers ready, to take on Canix.]
SonicBlue: Okay, Canix... where are you?
[Canix then rapidly approaches to tackle SonicBlue. He growls and salivates as SonicBlue struggles to get free.]
Heh. Big dog. But I think I can outdo your claws. Sonic Charger! (pushes the "s" on his Cartridge) SonicDrill!
[SonicBlue begins to lateral and spin toward Canix. Canix falls over.]
Just as I thought. (snickers) Can't take the heat? Get off the street! (poses)
----------
[Meanwhile, Rob works in fast-action to get all of the Speeders in order.]
Dr. O: Any progress?
Rob: Just a bit more... and I'll be done.
[Rob finishes the Speeders and returns to Dr. O, who is talking to Senator Bradley.]
Dr. O: We've got to get them to the Sonic Five then.
Rob: I'll see how fast I can get them up to the Satellab.
[Rob hops on Red Speeder, which is connected to the other Speeders a la Santa's reindeer. He turns up the power and soon, they are headed toward space.] Bradley: I hope he gets there soon.
Dr. O (worried): So do I.

[On Fifth Avenue, Canix is obviously pissed about falling prey to SonicBlue's SonicDrill. He crashes into the Saks department store and chews up one of the display dummies, thinking that it's SonicBlue.]
SonicBlue: So much for man's best friend. Hey, no eyes! Over here!
[Canix leaps out of the window and onto SonicBlue. He takes a bit out of his arm.]
My arm! Rob, I'd really appreciate some help right about now.
----------
[O Satellab. Rob arrives on the bridge.]
Sydney: Rob! Where's Carter?
Kevin: Wasn't he on Earth with the Speeders?
Rob: Actually, he's on Earth with a Galtoid. I've got the Speeders.
Kevin: Then let's use them!
----------
[The Five head for their Sonic Speeders as their are launched into space toward New York City. Meanwhile, SonicBlue is having a hard time containing the Canix.]
SonicBlue: When the hell are the others gonna show up?
[SonicBlue lays on the ground as Canix leaps into the air and... gets shot by laser fire by the Sonic Speeders.]
SonicRed: Hey Carter!
SonicWhite: Pixel says you may need our help!
SonicBlue: She's got that right.
[Argox appears out of nowhere.]
Argox: More so than you realize, Sonic Five...
[He throws a GalteaEgg at Canix, who catches it in his mouth and grows.]
SonicYellow: That's a big-ass dog!
SonicBlack: Let's see how we can trim this guy's claws. CarrierSonic link up!
[CarrierSonic fires up its engines and appears from the Satellab. SonicBlack jumps in the cockpit.]
CarrierSonic Pentium Charge! (inserts his SPC in the slot as the ship transforms) Now... Let's take care of this guy.
SonicRed: Right! Mechatron link up!
[The Mechatrons arrive on Earth and the Sonic Five jump into them.]
Rangers: Macrosonic Pentium Charge!
[Macrosonic forms and the robot creates the Chargeblade.]
SonicBlue: Let's do this!
[Macrosonic begins to fight Canix, but he goes out of control and needs the Macro CarrierSonic to contain it. The black robot jumps onto Canix's back and rides it like a bull.]
SonicBlack: Yee-haaa! Urban cowboy, baby!
SonicWhite: Fun is fun, but we've got work to do.
SonicBlack: All right. Backforming...
[The CarrierSonic reverts as Macrosonic jumps onto it and begins to charge the blade.]
SonicRed: Locking on.... NOW!
Rangers (right hands in the air getting ready to elbow to the right): Macrosonic Chargeblade Finish!
[The Macrosonic slices Canix in two as it explodes.]
SonicBlue: Got it!
----------
[On the ground, Dr. O and the Sonic Five meet Senator Bradley as they prepare to go back to the Satellab.]
Kevin: Well... Everything's set.
Carter: It's been really great meeting you, ma'am.
Bradley: I was right. You are like my son.
Carter: If it's okay with you, I'd like to learn more about your son.
Bradley: If it's okay with your "father..."
Dr. O: It's really his decision.
Carter: Come on, Senator...
Bradley: All right. You want to take your bike?
Sydney: Sorry, Carter, but Dr. O already called it.
Dr. O: Just another test drive. I'll be back to pick you up...
Carter: Okay, doc. Senator, looks like you have some help with that probe.
Bradley (smiling): Guess so.
[The two walk off while talking about general things. Meanwhile on the other side of the woods, Raybin is watching and waiting for just the right time.]
Raybin: They know...
