The Truth Is Out There...

The X-Files

The X-Files is undoubtedly one of my favourite TV series, satisfying my interest in the paranormal with great acting, amazing plots and twists with some excellent atmosphere to boot! I've been hooked since the first screening of the pilot episode...

Due to my job, and recent problems with the aftermath of a car accident, things have been very hectic lately. What with sorting out my life in general, I just haven't had the time to really make much of an effort with this page. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

I've now made a start to put up the UK X-Files viewing figures, which I began collecting and publishing for the, sadly defunct, X-Files UK Mailing List. You can find links to the viewing figures at the base of the page. Since I don't have Satellite or Cable TV, and can't get the viewing figures for them anyway, only the terrestrial (BBC TV) figures are covered. If you happen to have the Sky figures, I would be very grateful if you could send them to me. If you have links to similar viewing figure lists for other countries, please let me know.

I was hoping to be working on some alterations by the time the BBC started to screen Series 4, but er... it's been a problem to spur myself into getting something more interesting set up. Anyway, as part of the whole revamp of the SF Zone a serious update should be along soon! In the meantime, you can also look at my Millennium page. If you're an X-Phile and you haven't seen Millennium, you're doing yourself a real injustice...

I've had major trouble getting regular UK viewing figures recently, so I'm not sure when they'll be available for Series 5. Soon, hopefully...

For those who may be interested...

Sadly, the UK X-Files E-Mail discussion list "X-Filed!" closed a long time ago. Until recently, you could still obtain back issues, but the archive site has vanished. Any news on where the archive has moved to, or if the mailing list has, or will be, resurrected would be gladly received!
