Zekk
Zekk was born on Ennth, an isolated planet that has planet-leveling natural
disaters every eight years. During his first expierience with the disasters,
he stowed away on a cargo ship, then hopped ships for awhile before he
settled in the lower levels of Coruscant and survived by selling scrap metal
he had foraged. He lived there for years, and eventually met the Solo kids.
After that, Brakiss, a Dark Jedi, took him to the Shadow Academy and trained
him to be a Dark Jedi. Brakiss took these Darkk Jedi and sent them to fight
against the Academy on Yavin, pitting Zekk as the leader against Jaina and Jacen. Eventually, the Dark Jedi were defeated, and
only Zekk remained. Jaina succeeded in turning him from the dark side, and
he ended up saving the lives of the Jedi students when the Great Temple at
Yavin blew up. For his efforts, he was in a coma for a couple days. Jaina
continues to work with him on light side teachings, and Zekk decided he
wanted to be a bounty hunter. So he started out, and made a living for
himself.

Because he was away so often, sometimes for months on end, Jaina
began to get lonely and started seeing another guy, Jade. Eventually, Jaina and Jade got engaged. When Jaina told Zekk about this, he
was furious, and the dark side in him took over. Jaina ended up with bruides
shoulders. When Jade found out about that, he almost killed Zekk, but Jaina
made Jade promise never to harm Zekk. He reluctantly complied. Later, Jaina
and Zekk met to discuss it, and they ended up getting into a lightsaber duel
from the dark side (see "Just as Long as You're Happy"). Then, Zekk smuggled Jaina off in
the night and tried to apologize to her. He asked her for one day to prove
his love and sincerity, and she accepted it. They played sabacc, laserball,
holochess, and smashball. Then, they practiced lightsabers, and for an
instant, Jaina thuoght of Jade. Zekk's lightsaber touched her side. He
apologized. He kissed her. She lost all control ofher emotions, and kissed
him back. They went farther than either one expected to, but they did NOT go all the way. Five seconds away from it, yes, but NOT that far. Of course,
Jaina had to tell Jade, and he was okay with it. Then he thought about it
and almost left Jaina. He repented and came back. They've been planning the
wedding. Zekk's been sulking since then.
