Street Fighter is a role playing game put out by White Wolf, the makers of the Vampire and Werewolf roleplaying games.
In it you assume the role of a Street Fighter, just like in the video game. It has many different styles of martial arts to choose from in a character. The main styles available are:
Sumo Wrestling
Native American Wrestling
Sanbo Wrestling
Shatoken Karate
Kung Fu
Wu Shu
Kabaddi
Western Kickboxing
Boxing
Muay Thai Kickboxing
Cappoeira
Special Forces Training

SUMO WRESTLING

Sumo wrestling is an ancient Japanese Martial art. It consists of heavy charges, crushing grips, and devastating throws. A sumo wrestler, or sumotori, traditionally has the objective of throwing, shoving, tripping, whatever, their opponent out of the ring. In the streetfighter world, Sumotori have learned to kick more, fly across the ring headfirst, and even jump high in the air. The world warrior who practices this style is E.Honda.

NATIVE AMERICAN WRESTLING

Native American wrestling was developed as the main hand to hand fighting style used by American Indians. This style have many holds and throws, as well as crushing punches. Traditionally, a warrior uses this to defend themselves or their tribe. In the Street Fighter world, many have begun to use this style to beat their opponents and win a match. The world warrior who uses this style is T. Hawk.

SANBO WRESTLING

Sanbo wrestling is a style from Russia. The style involves traditional wrestling moves such as the pile driver, and headlock, but has developed new moves to keep up in the Street Fighter ring. Traditionally, sanbo wrestlers pair off in a conventional wrestling ring and grapple with each other until one is down or submits. Zangief practices the newer moves of the style with things like his spinning pile driver, and the spinning clothesline.

SHATOKEN KARATE

Shatoken karate is a new form of the traditional style of Karate. In this style, the practitioner uses a variety of kicks, punches, throws, and Chi-based maneuvers to beat opponents. Moves such as fireballs, hurricane kicks, and dragon punches are the tools of this style. The style has gained a following since Ken and Ryu's entrance into the Street Fighter arena.

KUNG FU

Kung fu is a traditional Chinese fighting style developed by shao lin priests. The practioner of kung fu uses a mixture of forms mimicing, usually, the movement of an animal of some sort. Typical moves include the Rekka Ken(a nasty move where you hit the person three times quickly, then have to pose if you actually do the third), and the dragon kick. Fei Long is the foremost practitioner of this style in Street Fighter.

WU SHU

Wu shu is not really a martial art, but most of its practitioners have changed that. Wu shu is actually a Chinese acrobatic form. A fighter using this style moves about quickly and agiley. They are prone to gracefully jumping over an opponent and nailing him or her. Moves for this style include the lightning leg, the heal stomp, and the wall spring. Chun Li is the world warrior who uses this style.

KABADDI

Kabaddi is an indian form of Yoga. It practioners look for perfection in the control of both their bodies and the spirits. The practioners of this style is street fighter usually are seeking to prove this mastery of self in the ring. Common moves are the fireball, Yoga Flame, and extendible limbs. Dhalsim, is the foremost practioner of this style is the ring.

WESTERN KICKBOXING

Western Kickboxing is a spectator sport here in the west. It combines ferocious kicks with devastating punches. It is a relatively new style and is one of the most used styles world wide. Typical moves include the Double Dread Kick and the Hyper Fist. Dee Jay uses this style quite effectively in the ring.

BOXING

The manly art of fisticuffs. This style involves punching an opponent with a variety of punches in the hope of knocking them into unconciousness. The contestants in this sport square off against each other in a square ring and proceed to beat on each other until one does not get up. Moves for boxing include the Fist Sweep, Dashing punch, and The Turn Punch. Balrog occupies the world warrior spot for this martial art, although this does not mean that only bad guys can be boxers.

MUAY THAI KICKBOXING

An ancient style of slef defense and competition taught in Thailand. Its main attacks include a variety of knee smashes, elbow smashes, punches and kicks. Maneuvers used by street fighters using this style include the Tiger Knee, the Tiger Shot, and the Tiger Uppercut. Sagat is the main practitioner of this style, but this does not proclude good Muay Thai Kickboxers.

CAPPOEIRA

Cappoeira is a style of martial arts developed by slaves in the jungles of Brazil. They were not allowed to train with any form of wepon, or participate in any formal martial arts training. They came up with cappoeira, by integrating martial arts principals into their native dance steps. This continues on to today where practitioners of this style use flips and dance like movements in their attacks. Street fighters who use this style have access to moves such as Musical Accompaniment, Rolling Attack, and Shock Treatment. Blanka practices Cappoeira at the world warrior level.

SPECIAL FORCES TRAINING

Special force training is the self defense style taught by many of the world's armed forces elite units. The Navy Seals, Green Beret's, and the British Secret Service all teach this style. Generally, it is a combination of moves from many different styles. Typical moves are the Flash Kick, Sonic Boom, and the Spinning Backfist. Guile and Cammy share top honors for this style.
