Major Grortet Fawkes

• Major Grortet Fawkes is a male Shistavanen Wolfman. Son of a female Defel and a male Shistavanen, he is similar to a Defel in genetic compatibility but not in visibility or physical characteristics. Originally trained as an Imperial scout, he despised the ambitions of Palpatine's New Order like most of his species. From that arose trouble, as he was asked to do several things he found distasteful and he objected highly.
• Fawkes was put before an Imperial military tribunal with a secret Rebel agent who argued his case. The strategy his lawyer used to help him escape certain death was brilliant, and after Fawkes escaped Imperial service to join the Rebellion he learned the identity of the mastermind behind his case: one Administrator Kak'isin, male Drepheri.
• Although Kak'isin did not remember this case out of the many he worked on, Grortet certainly remembers his benefactor. He has told no one of the debt he owes the Drepheri, so as to not appear biased when helping Kak'isin's plans in a military way. During the confusion surrounding the death of Borsk Fey'lya, Kak'isin and Fawkes met in a chance encounter and have since supported each other in their respective duties.
• Fawkes worked through the Alliance military, eventually making the rank of Major and being assigned to lead garrison troop operations on the Alliance government center of Noquivzor. In this role, Fawkes gained much experience, especially in demolitions and personal rocket launcher usage. In addition to that, Fawkes has also gained tactical experience at defending many locales and much, much respect. Fawkes has wide name-recognition throughout the Rebellion's Army Trooper Corps.
• Grortet Fawkes stands at 2.3 meters tall, with brown eyes that have a feral, reddish tinge to them and brown fir that is gray-tipped. He is 45 standard years old and very strong as result of his constant military activity. Due to his parentage, he can see in the visible light spectrum as normal beings do, but he can also spot and recognize a Defel in a room.
• This well-known, well-liked officer of the Alliance has a reputation for being solid and dependable. He isn't one to back out of a fight but if he can find a way around it he will do so to save lives. Fawkes is a bit of a loner, although he has taken a liking to a certain female Defel whom he dates off-duty, and whom he trusts implicitly.
• Major Fawkes wants to see the New Order stymied. He wishes to hold down Imperial advance long enough for all those who dislike Imperial rule to escape to Alliance space, and then take the fight to the Empire, to end their greedy, corruptive rule.

• When on standard guard duty, Fawkes has a suit of standard Rebel trooper armor that comes with a Blaster Carbine.
• When going into a scouting mission, Fawkes wears an AV-1S Powersuit granted to him by his rank in the Alliance.
• Fawkes has a rank cylinder/commlink and a personal datapad, but only carries the cylinder around with him.
• Fawkes has a Locris Syndicate's MGL-1 Microgrenade Launcher for all out assaults he is asked to participate in.
• Fawkes also has a belt of 'lucky' thermal detonators (holds four).
