Snake Face and Sssqueeze guard the entrance to a secluded chamber in the Cavern of Scales. King Hiss lays a thin cloth over a stone pool filled with a thick yellow liquid. Tung Lashor, Rattlor, and Kobra Khan bite through the cloth, injecting their potent venom into the pool. The cloth melts away. Scorpia dips the tip of her tail into the pool. King Hiss waves his hands in the air as the liquid begins to boil. . .

Pleased with his performance at Eternos, Horde Prime supplies Mantenna with reinforcements. Admiral Scurvy and Octavia use their impressive warships to weaken the coastal towns of the main continent. Fishing ships belonging to opponents of the Eternian monarchy are sunk. Queen Marlena sends what is left of the Royal Navy out to help.

Cringer and Spirit take Adam and Adora on a walk along the coast to try to brighten their spirits. The reach the foot of a hill when they see a ship explode over the water. Adam and Adora transform into He-Man and She-Ra when they hear a loud rustle in the bushes. Trap-Jaw bolts past the twins, screaming in terror. Cringer and Spirit run for cover. . . The disputes among the Eternian people leave Castle Greyskull virtually unguarded and forsaken. Beast-Man and a band of Skeletor’s newest warriors to try to gain entry to Greyskull. The inexperienced Sorceress Teela stands alone. . .

As Roboto finishes repairing the roof of the Throne Room, She-Ra notices the walls of Eternos looking darker than they did before. Mold and ivy now line the walls. The marketplace is bare. The people appear downtrodden and miserable. She-Ra sends Madame Razz and Broom on a quest to find the thing that Eternia has lost.

Sir Orko and Lady Dree-Elle return to the construction site of the Eternian Towers. Believing Eternia Tower to be completed, they find it severely damaged. Duncan and Adam help Orko and Dree-Elle repair the Towers, but Duncan can tell that Adam’s mind is pre-occupied. Duncan takes Adam for a ride in the Wind Raider. The Bashar appears behind the Wind Raider and fires a blast. The Wind Raider plummets down towards a swamp. Man-at-Arms looks in the rear-view mirror and sees that the pilot is not one of Skeletor’s henchmen. . .

In the village taverns, no one knows whom to blame for the defacement of Eternia Tower. Supporters and enemies of the Crown point to the only ones they can think of: each other.

Queen Marlena feels the pressure of her people to marry someone and give the land a new King. Skeletor’s offers appear more and more attractive.

Zodac points to various galaxies upon an inter-dimensional map and speaks to the members of The Council of Avatars, which includes an inattentive Teelina. Visions of the impending doom of Eternia flash through her mind. She notices a small crack Nefari’s frosted-glass bodysuit.

Sir Orko and Lady Dree-Elle consider their presence as a threat to the monarchy. They ask the Queen to leave. Queen Marlena allows it. They go to Greyskull to ask Sorceress Teela to send them where they would be needed most: Etheria. They remember He-Man’s additional instructions to them before they leave: to ask Empress Frosta to come to Eternia, since the crown could use her effective diplomatic skills.

The chants of the Eternian Patriots can be heard even in the depths of the Eternian Prison Mines.

Queen Marlena and Princess Adora campaign across the land to try to regain the support of the people who once respected and loved their benevolent rulers so dearly. They bring food and supplies to villages and farms that have not fared well, due to the occurrence of various "natural" phenomena. Duncan stays behind to guard the Royal Palace and to comfort the seemingly inconsolable Prince Adam.

At Snake Mountain, Skeletor walks into a private chamber behind the Lava Falls. . .alone. He opens a secret portal which reveals a purple sword, identical in shape to He-Man's Sword of Power. Skeletor closes the portal back up and looks over his shoulder as Evil-Lyn disappears around a corner. . .

Princess Glimmer tells Sir Orko and Lady Dree-Elle that many prisoners from The Kingdom of Snows are being held in The Fright Zone prison, along with the captives from the Crystal Falls who never made it back. Netossa asks Orko and Dree-Elle for their help in the rescue attempt. Orko notices the leaves of Whispering Woods beginning to wilt. Dree-Elle asks if The Rebellion has any additional spies that can help. Tallstar tells her that no one has seen Double Trouble since the Attack of the Crystal Falls. . .

In The Fright Zone Plunder Room, Governor Hordak places his finger upon the neck of a slave from The Kingdom of Snows. Hordak tells the helpless slave that his family will never look at him the same way again. Grizzlor flicks a switch, opening a glowing metal chamber. . .

Force Captain Catra turns away and runs. . .and runs. . .and runs. . .

An entire of village of Eternian farmers march in unison, all with the emblem of a coiled serpent upon their chests.
